Keep in mind this is the old room decor.

Those rooms look sooo cozy. Our favorite handsdown so far is WL (we are foresters, we only feel totally at home in the woods :rotfl: ), but I am totally psyched about our May GF trip! The rooms seem much "homier" than YC (our second favorite).

Yikes sorry these are so big.

Another fan of Narcoosees!!!

We held our wedding rehearsal dinner here, about 20 of us. The management and staff were wonderful with pre planning, and took wonderful care of us!

We opened and closed Narcoosees that night;)

Here's a pic of the "kids table"..:) You can see the views from the windows behind them.....

We had a huge table on the lower level just below the upper level. Not right on the windows. Our table was dead center for the castle view. You could see all the fireworks and the EWP. They piped all the music in. I can not say enough good things about Narcoossee's. Our service was the best I have ever had not just in Disney.

DisneyBride03 - Your rehersal dinner sounds fantastic.

Great pictures, DisneyBride'03 and IWISHFORDISNEY. Thanks for sharing.:surfweb: Oh, and MelissafromRI, too.

Evening All!

Melissa I sure miss that old room decor...dont get me wrong the new rooms are beautiful but I liked all of the colors and patterns of the old...:confused3

IWISHFORDISNEY What yummy looking birthday desserts!! And what a nice pic of you and your DS...he is adorable!:)

DisneyBride The kids look like they are having a grand time for sure...

It seems everyone really has enjoyed Narcoosees ...or Narcoopsees as Mr.Fols called it...;) We try to eat here every trip...I think that the view really makes it even that much better...

The view is so beautiful from Narcoossee's, isn't it?

In the good old days, we had lunch at Narcoossee's every trip. We still miss that.:sad2:

I :lovestruc Narcoosees. I celebrated my 40th birthday there last year. I think it is the best restaurant on property. I have also herd Kevin the food reviewer say this too!!! No doubt they gave me a picture perfect birthday. With fireworks to boot during dessert. I will never forget that birthday. 14 of my family members in the happiest place on earth and the absolute most perfect meal from service right down to coffee and dessert. Needless to say we are eating there twice in May.

Wow. I need to go back to Narcoossee's! Only been once... the food and service WERE very, very good. But it was so LOUD

I was thinking the exact same thing when I saw those pics :guilty: I loved the rooms then and I love them now, but seeing those pics reminded me of our trips when my daughter was little princess:

Ooh - I bet that was a great lunch spot BCV23... hopefully one day they'll crank up lunch service again ;)

I'm in on that one. :thumbsup2

Me too!!

But I am a new fan!! We went on our honeymoon and I got REALLY sick after eating there :sad2: Turned out to be a shellfish allergy that had been lurking around for years that I never realized...

So now I stick with the filet and I am good to go! One of our very best meals last trip was there and I cannot wait to go again in December!!!

Ok alll you Narcoosee's fans...I'm currently thinking of booking a dinner at Citricos. Should I make it for Narcoosees instead? Why?

Oh, tough one! Both amazing! I would venture to say that you may see more families/children at Narcoosees...I got a more upscale vibe at Citricos!

Just happy they both carry my favorite Chardonnay, Cakebread:)

Many more here will sure add their expertise:)
Have fun planning!

Narcoossee's is in our top three restaurants at WDW - with Cali Grill and Flying Fish. We enjoy Citricos as well, but we don't eat there as often, for some reason.

Kanga1 - I wouldn't change your reservations unless you read the menus and decide for that reason. Citricos is a very good restaurant.

never tried it, but plan on it in December

Our top 3 are Narcoosees, Cali Grille and CRT Dinner (those lamb chops were AMAZING!!)

ETA: Also, for those traveling in June, park hours and EMH are out and the UG has updated its crowds calendar to reflect it!

Blueskies..Yes it was a grand time:) Ended with everyone on the deck watching fireworks...!

Thanks BCV23!

IWishforDisney your pic is adorable!

And johnsonet I have read that sentiment on the DIS as well, that it can be loud! I never noticed..I did notice that some folks go out and watch EWP and seem to forget they are blocking the patrons view that are still inside! lol
