Hi all! Back home and ready to answer questions. Talked with Kelly Ripa, she was staying at the RPC with us. We had a MK/BLT view. The food was from Citricos and Victoria and Alberts. The band and guest choirs were great, as well as the tree. Any other questions let me know.

Hi, glad you had a nice stay. What kind of food was served in the lounge..that is what you mean by saying Citricos and V&A? I was hoping it changed a little.:)

Hey Magical! We just got back, too and all the offerings were still the same for our trip except for some different tea cookies during the Afternoon Tea from 2:30 - 4:00.

I was brave and tried the orange meat on a stick and it was actually pretty good! :)

Princess, hi! How brave of you to try the orange meat on the stick! I like that one too, it's the green beef on the stick that is not my favorite!

I was hoping the offerings changed a little, but they still offer the champagne...right??? I think the wine and cordials is my favorite part of the day there. I love to have a glass (or two) of wine or champagne before we go out to dinner.:goodvibes

Took these today.

The RPC had Beef Skewers and Chicken Skewers as well as Chips and Dip last night when we left. We loved it so much, we booked a week at the end of Jan to go back.

Anything new at the GF?

Did you dine in any of the restaurants this trip?

And I noticed OKW in your signature. Did you stay at "home" this vacation too or just at the GF?

Lisa, enjoyed your new pictures. Have a Grand vacation.:wizard:

The green meat scares me too!
I was hoping they would have some different things too but the only thing different that we saw was the tea cookies. We weren't there every night so you never know!

There is still champagne! I love to have a glass of wine and listen to the orchestra before dinner, too. I didn't have any this trip because I thought I'd be loopy with my cold meds! Either that or I'd fall asleep!

Wonderful pictures. I really miss being there during the holidays.

Denise, have a great trip with your family! With 2 in middle school, we just can't take a week early in Dec. What a perfect time to go!

Hi Lisa- Thanks for the photos. You are getting me excited about our trip in a few weeks!!

Welcome back Wendy!

Really enjoyed the updated pictures and all of the new information. Can't wait to get to the GF in June. Looking to celebrate our 30 year aniversary.

Are you sure they served chips and dip at night????? All the years I've been there I have never seen that! Oh...and for the chicken and beef...they are never served at the same time...are you sure you are talking about the last night you were there this is what they served at the same time?:) I can't see this happening.

Lovely photos! Wish we were there!

I thought I'd mention, for anyone going to WDW and the GF in January - I received a letter yesterday stating that the beach pool will be closed for refurbishment starting January 5, 2009. The letter says the work should be completed by late January, 2009 - but, as well all know, that is just a projection.

The courtyard pool will be open, and GF guests may use the volcano pool at the Poly while the work is being done.

Hope this helps anyone planning a trip next month.

Sometimes when they have the Mexican theme they have chips and guacamole and salsa.... Maybe that was it....??:confused3 Maybe they just took a hint and mixed things up a bit....the same old stuff only shifted.:rotfl:

Hey, Lives...yeah, I thought the same thing with the Mexican theme, but I thought he meant potato chips and dip. I wonder what Kelly Rippa thought...."oh, no...not the same old same old".:lmao:
