Okay, after my rant, I got a little nervous, so I called to confirm. They said they receive FedEx every day and had never heard of ups only...

THANKS for the info!!! I love Fed Ex. They are much more reasonable than UPS for larger items. Ya...my cool Roy Disney plaque arrived Fed Ex.

What the heck is this "only UPS" junk going around?? Honestly I wanted to ask her WHAT that is all about when she posted it, but I thought they'd bite my head off. Distherapy, you should go to that thread and set them straight.

I am a walmart girl myself but I have a really nice one about 2 miles from my house
DH says he is going to put my pic up at the door with a big red line through it so they won't let me in

I can see how comparing POP to walmart .. i get the jist of what he is saying...
the values are walmarts and targets
the mods are Jc penney and Sears
the Deluxes are macy's and Dillards
the GF is Nordstoms

But just to say the Pop = Walmart without comparing it to anything else just doesn't make a whole lot of sense

i have stayed at pop and it was fine

I will be at the WL concierge in March, but I am going over to the GF visit some CM friends in the concierge lounge.

July we will be back at the GF.

December we are at the BC.

I had a question...
I hate Disney coffee as most of you know...
While I was there I talked to a few Cm's from the GF and found out that they have a hoard of GOOD coffee in their break rooms
They bring it in themselves

Anyway.... since I am staying SL.. do you think if I had my coffee cup under my shirt ... knock out one of the CM's and stole their uniform... ::::cue up 007 spy music in the background::: sneak into their break room and steal me a cup of their GOOD coffee I would get caught?

I could even wear camo face paint and netting over my face

The only hitch in my plan is I am not sure where the break room is

Anyone have the blue prints to the GF ... please include sewer drains and secret passage ways

I have another about High-Speed Internet Access. Do they charge per 24hour? How much? Is it possible to pay for High-Speed Internet only on the 1st night and last night of stay?

Last year (stay in SSR) I had a weird experience - although I was on DDP, I requested my Resort Key to be "Not Valid for Charging". On the 5th night of our stay, I tried to connect to the Internet from Room but failed. I went to SSR front desk and ask the CM. He said it is because my room key was not valid for charging :-(

THey charge $9.95 for 24 hrs. You buy it by each 24 hr period. I don't remember how DH entered the info. I believe ours was charged to the room so maybe that's why no charging on the key = no room charges = no internet?? I would think you should be able to enter any cc, though. ?? Maybe that is not an option and it goes direct charge to the room.......I need to ask dh if he remembers.

BTW, since we are alrady OFF TOPIC, have any of you Bare Minerals lovers tried the new cleanser yet?? I saw it on the QVC show a couple of weeks ago and now it is featured in my Ulta flyer that came today...

Cinderumbrella....bummer that thread finally got closed. It was just amusing to me. Somebody didn't like Pop. People get so offended and then the thread turns and gets focussed on one comment that probably just came out wrong - not what they really meant to get across.....snarky comes out.

We have that new superwalmart south of us....OMG I hate that place. I can't find a darn thing and then they are so SLOW with checking out. I like Target how you can return w/out a receipt and they can look it up for you. Walmart doesn't have that. I need that!

I didn't get any Ulta thingy in the mail today. Maybe tomorrow. It seems Bare Minerals is the way to go from all you guys on this thread!

I emailed IPO last night and haven't heard back......just wanted to request the good view and also asked about Easter activities at teh GF.

Channing, I HATE that Walmart too!! We have one right by the Commons that opened about 4 years ago. Prior to its opening I wouldn't be caught dead in Walmart, but that one isn't bad- its not a Super Walmart which helps make it not so crazy!!! I am a Target kind of gal too (and Costco!! )

I'm still eager to hear if anyone has actually tried the Rare Minerals cleanser... I am thinking about picking it up next week along with Praline's suggestion for the Well Rested...

Also, DH told me to STOP obessing about our dates and just leave it as is and have DS miss the 6th day (its the last week of school before Winter Break anyway...) I still think I may call and see if they can't add that first day back onto the trip now that the code is applied rotfl2: ) Kelly, have you had any luck doing this lately??

i haven't used their cleanser as I prefer this other stuff I have special ordered...

Are any of you AP holders??? What is all the hubbub about AP holfers getting dining now??? This may solve my date dilemma by getting AP's and having 2 ressies (1 room only for the first night at full price with dining and a second starting the next day with the code and dining....)

It was kinda sad but amusing in a sick way. There are so many mean people out there and so many people with chips on their shoulders, too. That is what really shocked me about the whole thing. So much nastiness. Zack would have started singing "Why can't we be friends, why can't WE be friends>>>...."

I heard back from the IPO!!! Your favorite IPO fellow, Kelly. I am crossing my fingers for that good view. I am soooo excited.
