Seriously... what all comes with the Cabana? Are the drinks and all included?
I saw the pics of the chairs but do you get lounge chairs too or just the table and chairs?

Tell me about the cabanas.. as I said earlier Savannah and I plan on using the pools every afternoon so trying to figure out if it would be worth it for us

Congrats! That is fabulous news. Savannah is so very smart! We do need to train them young!

All of this talk about ordering clothes etc. has had me thinking. Well, for one thing, it's a good thing I have all boys -- saves me lots of money on clothes! But really, several of us who frequent this thread have a good friend on the DISigns board who makes the cutest pillowcases.

Her daughter has the most beautiful voice, and the mom is taking on extra sewing to take her to a voice competition. Please don't feel obligated, but if anyone is interested in personalized pillowcases, she does great work. If anyone wants her info, PM me.

I will vouch for the pillowcases! ADORABLE and amazing quality. Embroidered names and you pick the fabrics, colors, etc. I'll try to get a picture of the ones she made for the kids and post it.

Amy, congrats on your wedding! I'd probably just crash someone's room to get ready at BWI and stay at the GF. You only have ONE wedding night, and wouldn't you always question yourself the rest of your life if you *didn't* choose the GF? Have fun!

Well, we won't be staying at the GF, but we're eating at 1900 PF dinner and b'fast. Also debating adding in Narcoosee's. DH and the boys don't eat seafood, so I'm a tad worried about that one.

Thanks to everyone for the advice on missing school. I am new to the district so I really don't know how they are about this stuff (And some of the horror sotries I read here on the Dis about this scares me to death!!)

I forgot everyone who was asking these questions (I guess I need to take notes )

GF Cafe breakfast is GREAT!!! It is not stuffy or overly grown up at all. It is a good breakfast with the infamous Grand staff. Sometimes it is nice to have a sit down breakfast without the characters (Did I just say that out loud??)

Conch Key is really close to the main building (right on the other side of Sugar Loaf) and close to the boat dock too! I may change my Marina Request to CONCH Marina View (I just know that I will get the infamous dumpster view at Sago if I don't reuest something)

To the bride- Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!! I have never done a split stay but I know some of the experts here can offer some advice on it. Do you have a WDW wedding planner to help out with details of that kind of transfer?

Praline- Congrats on the decision to upgrade to SL. I think that is the PERFECT solution for this trip

Channing- any chance DH will "change his mind" if the airfare gets too expensive? My DH would probably love the chance to be at home ALONE for a few days!!

You HAVE to do this!! We took one for the morning shift (10-2). They have big comfy chairs, a fridge with bottles of water, soda and juice boxes, a fruit basket, a TV with a DVD player, SIRIUS sattelite radio and a PORTABLE AIR CONDITIONER!!!! (This alone makes it worth it in that heat) You should have seen me- I had my big sunglasses on, a trashy romance novel in one hand an umbrella drink in the other with A/C on full blast and dance music on the radio!! It was hilarious!

You know me, I always worry about the details!! Hope things are looking up for the family!!

I am allergic to seafood but we are going back to Narcoosee's this year too (DH loves seafood) I think the filet is supposed to be really good there

Denise -- as Kristin said, the filet is good. Randy loves it, though he does sometimes get the lobster with it. And my boys don't eat fish -- they eat the grilled chicken there and like it.

I hate seafood but LOVE narcoossees! best filet i have ever had, and the almond crusted cheesecake...

The filet is good!!!! I don't like seafood but my husban does, and we both really enjoyed Narcoosees!

I agree with everyone that the filet is really good, but you may want to try it without the reduction (or have it on the side). I tasted DD's plain filet, and I have to say I preferred it.

But, oh, yeah, that almond crusted cheesecake is to DIE for!

How did you guys find room for dessert??

I had the filet and it was delicious. DD8 also had it and enjoyed hers....now that I think about it I think all 5 of us had it. I remember mine and DDs because she is a mega picky eater but she will eat steak.

My girls trip has been crashed by DH. He is coming Friday night so we will still have 3 days before he arrives on our own....he is coming just in time for our RPC stay. That meant I had to break it to him that I was doing a Swan/GF split stay. I was torn about the change in plans, but it'll be good to have him there actually. I was looking at old WDW vacation pics and feeling sentimental about him not going. It'll be good.

She said to address it to yourself C/O Grand FL and their address. You should state your check in date AND reservation date. I've done it before and it worked fine - I just needed a refresher.
