pas130 & k&a&c'smom I am at the point right now where I think I am going to pull my hair out. Our DS15 came home from school today and asked if his Dfriend15 can go with us next year. DH and I just looked at each other and didn't say anything. We told him that we would let him know. Now, I don't want to disappoint our DS but I so had my heart on staying at the GF. With that said and two soon to be 16 year old's, the room at the GF is not going to cut it. Too close for comfort for me. We have taken his friend many time's before on vacation and he is always over our house. So there won't be any surprises but I just like having my space and BLT will provide that for all of us. Plus the extra bathroom will definitely come in handy and the boys can go to the parks by themselves next year as well. BLT is available at the moment and we are still up in the air. But we do think we know which way we are leaning towards. One thing that I forgot to mention is that his friends Dad has lung cancer and we truly don't want to disappoint his friend.

Update to above: we have decided to switch to BLT. We think it's a great idea to bring his friend and this way our DS will have someone to hang out with. They can even go to the park's by themselves if they want too. I miss you guys already.

Yeah it was. It was the same night we came home on the boat. Palm trees were blowing. Loved the nights there.

I had to tell someone, the GF is now all paid for, made our last payment and when I checked this am it had gone through and our balance is zero! All the hard work we have done paid off. The kids sometimes don't get why mommy works so much but then we get there and they are like now we get it!

Can you pack for me too....you know how I procrastinate And my DD already asked if her birthday cake will have the GF initials on it (because everything at GF does) She is funny, she also made me use the GF conditioner in her hair so she could "smell" like the Grand. I have a feeling the 3 of us will get along great!!!

Oh because I get my mani/pedi every two weeks and get my hair done and I like to shop at the big department stores and of course, I love my Coach. I ask him, do you pay for this stuff -- then shush. I then say to him that I wouldn't be able to be married to him and he says why. I tell him that I wouldn't take a 1/4 of the crap that my mother in law does from him.

DD will be 7 on the 28th! Disney is my "high maintenance" issue. Luckily DH always gives in to me

Ok new plan....all us girls stay at GF, the boys (including yours) stay at Poly. I have 3 girls, so we can do lots of girly stuff

Is the light show at Epcot and where can I view it from at the Grand Floridian, anywhere along the water or a specific area?

Hello! I'm not sure which light show you mean - the Electrical Water Pageant that August2010 highlighted in the photos a few pages back? Or, the laser light/fireworks show at Epcot, called Illuminations?

If you are asking about the Electrical Water Pageant (usually referred to on the DIS as the EWP), you can see it anywhere along the water. Here is a link to the info posted on allearsnet: http://allears.net/tp/ewp.htm

Illuminations IS performed at Epcot at 9:00 p.m. each evening, but it is not viewable from the GF. The Grand is situated on Seven Seas Lagoon, by the Magic Kingdom.

CoachBagFanatic - Aww, sorry you have to switch your resort again, and won't be staying at the GF! I understand, though, and would make the same choice - we have taken a number of DD's friends along with us, and have to make resort plans accordingly.

Will you have to change any of your dining plans?
