I’m pretty old but remember To Kill a mockingbird, animal farm, call of the wild. Probably jane eyre although I might have it read it on my own. As I did Pride and prejudice. I grew up in a small town. Walked to the library every Saturday for a new stack of books that always included Nancy drew, the Bobbsy twins, cherry Ames. Reading was such a pleasure back then.

Sounds like you and I grew up in the same era. I couldn't wait for the new Nancy Drew or Bobbsey Twins book to come out.
