Any word yet, Lives4Disney? I emailed GF IPO yesterday to ask them to order tickets for MNSSHP and change one dinner ADR for us. I just received their reply - 24 hour turnaround. :hourglass

I got a response several days ago to my original inquiry that I made over a week ago about a cake and two things I wanted purchased for my girls (one for each), but it wasn't what I wanted to hear.... What I wanted was the big, plushy stuffed pajama bags. My girls had eyed them last time, but luggage space was limited as it was about a 2 week trip. Eyeore (my oldest just loves him) and a dalmation (my youngest has a dalmation puppy she has slept with since 6 mo old and just adores dalmations). I was told no dalmation available. I SAW them on our end of March trip. They are suddenly no more? Just didn't sound right and I know my Jojo would love anything, but I would feel bad if she walked into the Emporium and there was the dalmation she would have rather had. :confused3

I emailed them back to PLEASE double check as I did see them in several stores no long ago - no response for 4 days now. Also in the same email, I did request the cake. Just would really appreciate it if they would have replied to the dalmation and cake and at least let me know if the cake was ordered (WHAT exactly was ordered....as my cake issue was kind of an inquiry/suggestion request/wish to order in one, LOL. :rolleyes:

I am just bummed about the IPO situation at this point. Hope you have better luck, Traci.

I haven't phoned to order my cake directly because I can just see IPO put an order in (or will) and I make mine, and I will wind up with two huge expensive cakes that this dieter does not need!!! :sad2:

My 90 days for a cabana was last week- I got an email when I first inquired about them, saying they had it on my calendar to reserve and that they would send an updated email with my numbers when they booked. 90 came and went and wtill nothing. So on Monday, I re-emailed just to make sure, and today I finally received a reply - that it was taken care of. Very short and curt email, with no attachments like usual with confirm numbers. Going to email again to ask for it.

It seems... something is going on in that IPO department.

When Tyler left, he gave me the name of somebody to use, and I found out he is on vacation. I have directed my emails to him, so.......they are lost in cyberspace, I think - or piling up in his inbox with a gazillion others. :rolleyes:

I am just feeling cranky today, I think!! I will resume my quest on Monday.

I emailed IPO last night and got a response (and itinerary attached) this morning. I only requested 2 ADR's though. One being an 8:35AM Crystal Palace breakfast and the other 5pm dinner at Chef Mickey's. They got both reserved for us.

I hope this gives a little hope...
 
Just booked for our august stay at GF anyone have any info on tea i believe they mentioned something about seating being tables of 2 we are a party of 3 just wondering what the seating arangement was thanks so much! :sunny:
 
Glad that some people are getting their ADRs! We are doing a split stay, so after reading about all the problems, and after getting a long response time for me introductory e-mail to GF, I decided to just have Don and Juanita at AKL make all of my little changes. I hope things get better for everyone who dosen't have that choice...

Traci, I see you're from Missouri too. We live about an hour north of STL. Any chance we are neighbors?
 
I read the corner rooms have 2 balconies. So, if you are on the first floor in a corner room, do you have 2 patios?
 
I am still waiting to hear back from IPO. :sad2: Last night I did resend and redirect my email from Monday.......

I am obviously getting kind of miffed because I leave a week from Monday and come on - it's not cheap to stay at GF RPC. Everybody on those "Is concierge worth it?" threads always says you pay for the service, LOL :rolleyes: and comes down on the posters that want use the food offerings to make up the difference in the cost.....I guess I am going to have to be content with the food :) because the service is pretty lacking at this point. I made all my ADRs myself - always do - there are just 3 things I need from IPO. OK, I can order the cake myself - but just two little things for my daughters and some chocolate truffles for my nice husband. I can probably order those, too, when I call to order the cake....... :rolleyes:

Hope you all have better luck. :wizard: I am going to be really really really bummed if the onsite GF concierge staff isn't as wonderful as last time. They really made our stay special. Just wonder what is up with IPO???? Honestly, if I was a first time WDW vacationer or first time GF concierge guest, I would have dropped GF RPC like a hot potato just due to the lame first impression IPO is giving. It is a shame.

Can anyone tell me off hand what time check out is? Our flight home doesn't leave until 7pm and I am wondering if we can request a late check-out.

What do we do with our bags in the meantime? Will the hotel hold them?

Traci - Hi...checkout is at 11 am. Sometimes, depending on the season, you can get a "late" checkout which would probably be about 1 pm. When you checkout at 11, call bell services and they will store your luggage for you. If you have a rental car, they could load it in for you instead.

I wouldn't count on that late check out, though. Hardly ever happens that they allow it.

I am feeling really really bummed about the IPO. My parents arrive tomorrow night to stay for the week, my daughter's and husband's birthdays are both Saturday, have lots to do......I just want some words of reassurance from somebody at IPO that gives me some confidence that things will be taken care of. We leave for WDW next Monday, July 3 - SAME day my parents leave. It is going to be a busy week. :guilty:

Hey, on a good note....We are staying at the YC for the first few nights and not concierge so I ordered a basket of surprises and snacks from Peggy's sweets and more (feralpeg on the boards). She got back to me right away, LOL, and it looks like it will be great! :goodvibes

Triple - YEAH!! What's up with that??? Are you having problems, too?? Or have you found a great contact person?? I know CR and GF share IPO. I am getting unhappy. ;) I just want it taken care of so I can look forward to the trip and get the concerns out of my head. :guilty:

- It is from a website called Peggyssweetsandmore.com. She is a dis member and her baskets look super cute. You can select the treats and plush, hats etc. and build your own. Take a look! I thought since we aren't going to have a minibar at YC or easy access to snacks, I would give Peggy's a try. A lot of Dis members recommended her highly. There is a link at the bottom right of her home page that takes you to her new site she is building that you can see pics of the merchandise. She shops at WDW for everything.
