Pillows......There are two styles available in the Sandy Cove gift shop in the Gf. The first $65 is the Alice tea cup throw pillow....The second $80 is a "When you Wish Upon a Star" pillow. They are huge....probably about 24 X24 inches or larger. The tea cup is the one seen in many GF room pics.....the other is a golden pillow with golden writing. Maybe you can order them directly from Sandy Cove?? Call the GF and ask to be connected to that shop. I never had a room with the When you Wish pillows, only the tea cups on the daybed. They're cute and huge, but don't go with my home or I might want one, too. Kind of a steep price IMO. With the rehabs, maybe they won't continue selling these as they coordinate with the current decor.:confused3

Kelly, I hope you get that tea cup pillow if you want it maybe call and order. When I was there, they only had two of each style out. Probably more in back....maybe I hope.:wizard:

Cabana....when we booked this, we just stepped on up to it like we knew what we were doing and somebody came and kind of checked us in. This was when the rental was new, though...maybe procedure has changed.:confused3

I am going to call and order one so I have it. I dont wanna wait til July and their be none left. Then I would be

yeah BCV how did you order them
did you just call the store in the lobby directly
or wdw merchandising?

I called WDW merchandising...the number on the bottom of retail slips. I described it as having teacups all over it and told the CM which store sold them although I don't think by name. The CM sounded doubtful about the secription but it didn't take him long to locate them.

But he did say they are called Alice in Wonderland pillows so I would use that name if ordering.

Donald & Daisy Duck, I don't think any of us has a clue as to whether they will be available in August or any other time. If the pillows are included in the new decor, I imagine the store will still carry them. If the new decor doesn't incorporate them, they might only be available as long as stock lasts. Or perhaps they sell enough of them to keep ordering them anyway?? Who knows.:confused3 But I didn't want to take a chance. Even with my Wish Upon a Star pillow which I bought on property, I chose to have it shipped. They are large pillows to pack especially if flying.

Thanks for all the replies on the cabana! Guess all I have to do now is order the castle cake for our dinner at 1900 PF/GF Cafe and finalize my gift basket order with Sarah. What to do with myself for the next 86 days!! :rotfl2:

Ok, rub it in why don't ya??!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: OOPS.....my mistake....thought you were directing this at me, lol. I am just super sensitive about that 6 month wait, haha.

Kelly, she did a beautiful job on DD's surprise basket at the Swan. Too bad the Swan LOST it and all the hassle ruined DD's surprise, but she loved it just the same. I am definitely going to use her for our November trip.

The Alice in Wonderland teacup pillows have been sold in the GF gift shop for a least two years because I had 2 sent home with me when we were there 2 years ago. I have them in my guest/girls room for when they come home and I found quilts that match the colors and it looks very cute!

Does anyone have the number for WDW merchandise? I don't have any receipts and I really want one of these pillows. Also, what number do you call for the cabana rental. I need one of those too!:cool2:

The number for WDW Mail Order is 407-363-6200.

And guess what, there is an email address too: wdw.mail.order@disneyworld.com. I have never noticed that before!

Sorry, don't know the number for renting cabanas. I would try calling the general GF number and asking if no one else pops back with info.

We did it for my 40th bday last July.....I think at that time it was just over $350/hr or closer to $400/hr.....also you're expected to tip the captain and his assistant.

Thank you so much for the phone numbers. I am going to call tomorrow morning to get my pillow and my cabana...wish me luck. :goodvibes

Good luck! And sorry, I should have seen the phone number for the cabanas...it's right in Around & About.

Channing, I think it's a cute picture of your daughter....she is just a doll.

I noticed by the picture Channing sent of the cabanas in the background, that the chairs are the regular lounges. In other photos I saw the padded, more comfy looking chairs.......what's up with that????

I measured our "A dream is a wish" pillow this am. It's roughly 25" square.

Litlpixie.....Don't worry...the rental cabana chairs are nice teak with padded cushions. I think you even get nicer, fluffier towels too. The cabanas in the background of my pic are just the first come first serve ones with the regular lounge chairs. When this pic was taken, there was only the one rental cabana. I am still not sure how many there are now. Maybe more than the one.

BCV, thanks for measuring the pillows. I thought they were a really nice large size - I was close with my 24 inches:) . I would love one of each, just don't know where to use them...I am thinking, though!;) What decor room at the GF was the golden A Dream is a Wish pillow in? (oops, I have been referring to it as when you wish upon a star.....:rolleyes1 )Those are adorable & I have never seen them before I specifically looked in SC.

Does anyone remember what RPC serves on the childs table for appetizers at 5:00pm? We have a little one traveling with us and I would like to let the child's parents know what is available.:) Thanks!
