I know over planning but I was wondering how big the fridge is? Could it hold a gallon of milk and still have room for other things or is it a little cube size? TIA for you help.

I think it is the standard dorm sized fridge. That is what they have at the Poly at least and from pictures I've seen it looks the same at the CR. A gallon wouldn't fit. You may try half gallon laid on their sides or take the shelf out.

I too am very interested in the pool rehab info!!

I'll be there on Sunday March 22. I can take photos of the pool rehab, and photos of the drawer space (or lack of drawer space). I'll check on the fridge size too. We plan on eating breakfast in the room each day.

Just let me know if there are any questions or request for photos and I'll do the best I can while I'm there.
Can you please find out two things when you get a chance.

First if they are adding a 2nd bus stop for Bay Lake Tower, because I doubt that they are.

Second if Contemporary guests can use the Bay Lake Tower pool? I asked that last August and was told yes they could since it would be an amenity of the whole resort, the way Wilderness Lodge guests are also able to use the DVC pool in the villas section. However at the time Bay Lake Tower had not announced yet, so the DVC Cast Member was guessing. Although using the example of the DVC pool in the Villas at the Wilderness Lodge I would say they are correct.

Sure thing. I'll ask.

Just so you know when they re-open their name is changing to the Fantasia Market, so they can add more food items once Bay Lake Tower opens.

I am sure hoping the pool Rehab is done by the time you are there on the
22nd because I am there on the 27th and I was told by several CMs that it would be done by the 15th or very close to that date. Otherwise, I would have reconsidered staying at the Contemporary and just booked the Poly since the slide is a huge factor for my little boy. I realize that we can use the Volcano pool at the Poly but I do not want to have to go back and forth to swim. Keeping my fingers crossed. Have a wonderful time.

thanks for the heads up - i'm hoping they might be ahead of schedule so we can check it out during our 4/28 - 5/5 trip!

Could you find out what's on the room service menu? I have asked before and someone was going to take a pic....but they have yet to post is and allearsnet.com's menu is before the wave existed....so I assume there will be some changes... :confused3 Thanks!:goodvibes

I'm with you on that! My oldest kids, 12 & 9 love the slides. Its just too big of a pain to go pool hoppin' with 3 kids!!

thanks for the heads up

I think a full gallon would be too big. I have definately put in 1/2 gallons and the door still shut. There is also some room on the door for cans of soda.

Thanks for the pictures and the fridge info. I really appreciate it. I can't seem to find anything when I'm searching for it. I do find lots of interesting things though!

Yay! I just booked Bay Lake Tower, theme park view, for September. I am excited to learn all about the Contemporary.

Hi, we also have BLT reservations for September!!!! I made it on February 12th

I was the one who took the pix for you - if you pm me your email address I will give you access to the photobucket folder with the pix of the roomservice menu - sorry I didn't get this to you sooner!

Is there a place to buy snacks now, prior to the new market opening?
