Mouseman - your DD 2 will love the playground area and the little kiddie pool. You can see pics on my website below.

Can someone who's just back or going very soon let me know if the CSR restaurants are accepting the MYW dining plan? I've read that the dining plan was accepted at the Pepper Market, but Disney's site says no restaurants at CSR are included in the plan.

I have reservations in November for the CSR and I've booked with the dining plan. If they're not accepting the plan though, I will have to either change hotels or not do the meal plan.

Thanks in advance!

As far as I know they are not accepting the dining plan. Perhaps someone used vouchers instead at the Pepper Market?

When we stayed at HNY in DLP we found Mickey, Minnie or one of the other characters waiting in reception each afternoon and on the way to breakfast every morning. Do the characters turn up at CSR?

Webmaster Alex posted a thread on the Community Board about html code being disabled. He said the counters would be screwed up, but there was a link to another counter to use.

We used the vouchers earlier in the month at the Pepper Market.
The Q&C and we had some kids breakfast vouchers too.

DH and I are booked for 2 nights before and 3 nights after our whole family celebrates at SOG in late May and early June. This will be our first stay and CSR and are really looking forward to the resort. When talking to a CM yesterday she asked if we would like to request a room with a walk in shower. It sounded great as we don't take baths usually. My concern now is that we have requested a room intended for people who are physically challenged and I don't want to take up rooms for those that have this need. Any information about this?

I do believe those rooms with walk in showers are for the mobility challenged because my family does have that type of issue and they said that is what we would be getting.

Hi everyone!

Just wanted to let you all know that CSR seems to be completely booked from May 10th - 22nd. I've tried all sorts of combinations of dates and have only been able to get quotes for the Junior Suite with a King Bed. Not sure if its a large convention but it certainly looks that way. Normally i'd be freaking out because we are going to WDW May 12th - 20th but we'll be staying a WL because we got a great postcard rate. I'll miss CSR, but im going to go visit and have a drink by the pool :)

I finally found this thread!!! i have been looking for a thread like this...Thanx for the info it is truely invaluable

Thanks to this thread, I switched my reservation from CBR to CSR. :cool1:

We'll be staying from May 21st until the 28th. I was under the impression that I could call and ask for a specific cabana and actually reserve it. I was told that they make a note of the request and if it's available at check in, I get it.

Is that the way it works? Thanks!

They will make a note but they never can guarantee that is what you will receive.

I've just booked a vacation for May. We've stayed at the WL the past 2 years, and previously at the Contemp. and Dixie. CSR sounds like a great place for my 8 and 7 yo kids. One question...when by the pool, is there a place for lunch (quick stuff...burgers, hot dogs, etc.) close by, rather than the Pepper Market?

Also, where can you get a quick b-fast? Something, like a bagel or b-fast sandwich, cereal?

Hi there Koko, to answer your questions:

Yes, you can grab quick items like burgers, chiken fingers and fries, nachos etc...at Siestas. There is a menu available at www.allearsnet.com

As for a fast breakfast. When you got to the Pepper Market simply tell the person at the podium that you would like to do take-out and they will give you a card. You can them go to any of the stations and grab a quick breakfast to take back to your room. The bakery has all sorts of pastries, croissants, danishes, bagels and muffins available. There are also breakfast platters with eggs, bacon, bisciuts etc... Once again there is a menu at www.allearsnet.com

Enjoy your trip! We've stayed at CSR our past 6 or 7 trips and adore it! We're actually staying at WL for our May vacation lol, so looks like you and i are reversing roles ;)
