Does anyone know where to find a copy of the animations of the three caballeros? Or if there is anything related to this in the parks?

Epcot (Mexico) has some topiaires as does CSR in the casita section. Also, El Rio Del Tiempo in Mexico at Epcot has a new movie showing them.

I'm so excited!

Exactly 4 weeks from today I'll be at Coronado Springs with my best friend! I'm psyched because I haven't stayed at CSR since Aug 06 and it sounds like there have been a few changes. Also, my best friend has never been to CSR before so that should be awesome as well. The new lounge looks cool, though is it my understanding that it is just a seating area at the moment? Or is a full bar operating as well? This is very much a "Drink around the World" trip for us, and we would be more than satisfied with the frozen margaritas from the Pepper Market and the drinks from Siesta's, but another lounge wouldn't hurt ;)

I'm at that point where all I have to do is wait for my package documents (which is driving me nuts LOL), and count the days until I leave....which is actually Aug 25th for 8 nights at the Poly before meeting up with my best friend on Sept 2nd at CSR.

Woohoo to 16 days at WDW!!!

The Laguna Lounge is fully operational. No one has posted any pics. I've only seen pics of the new tables. Have a great trip and bring back some pics of the new lounge.

I was there the first week of June. The service was not good. After sitting and waiting for a waiter/waitress to come to our table for 10 minutes at least, I had to get up and chase down a hostess and ask her to get someone. Then it took forever to get our food and never got asked for a refill on our drinks. They were not busy at the time, and it was only myself and my DS7 at our table, so I can't see there was any excuse for the poor service. PLus I observed our waitress extensively chatting with other tables while we sat and waited a very long time for our food and for refills that never were offered. The food was good (I had salmon), but the service was so poor I would not go back. That being said I still recommend CSR overall. We had a lovely stay, and the resort is beautiful. We ate at Pepper Market several times. We enjoyed it a lot. But for a nice, sit down dinner, there are much better places than Maya Grill.

So far Maya Grill does not appear to be on the new 2008 Dining plan. I don't guess we will be trying it as the new deluxe dining covers three meals a day and this is not a covered resturant.

If the process is anything like last year, CSR didn't get added to the DDP until late in the year...Oct/Nov time frame. I wouldn't worry.

What would be considered a water view in the Ranchos section other than the quit pool? I like the looks of bld 7a but do not know if they would put us there since we booked a water view.

That would pretty much be it for the ranchos. There is a small creek over by 6a but that's it.

Some are even added after the first of the year. I noticed this for the 2007 list. Some are privately owned and are slow to respond. So I wouldn't rule out your favorites just yet.

DH & I just decided to upgrade from Pop to CSR after seeing all the good reviews and pics on Buzz's webpages. (THANKS!!) I requested a handicapped room due to a car accident 2 months ago. Does anyone know what buildings they're in and do they all have king sized beds?

Thanks all!

King bed rooms are mostly HA and are scattered throughout the resort in all villages. There are only 124 of them in total.

Thanks again Buzz2001

I better double check on the availability again. CRO told me no problem, but I don't think I was on hold long enough for him to have checked with special services. 124 rooms doesn't sound like many compared to the size of the resort.

Anyway, I'm so looking forward to this trip!

124 is the amount of king rooms. Not sure if any of the 2 double bed rooms are HA.

I really love the theme of the Ranchos section. How inconvienent are they? If we request 7A we would be close to the bus stop but how far from the pool and everything else. Anyone that has stayed in this area your opinions please.

Looking at the map, 7a is close to bus stop #3 and about 1/4 mile walk to the pool. It's 1/2 mile walk to the main building.

For those of you (us) looking for an answer to the Cabanas 9A smoking smell question....I found this in a post yesterday:

Beware of Former Smoking rooms!

We had a recent stay at Coronado Springs. It was a beautiful resort. BUT, when we checked in, I even asked if the room was a former smoking room, and was told, "I don't know". OK, we headed over, and we were shocked at the smell in the room! ARGHH. They moved us RIGHT away, we were lucky rooms were available. The CM who brought us the new keys said everyone who gets sent into that building asks to be moved. I was happy they did not just offer to set up those air cleaners, and to spray the room. (it does not really work that well) The smelly building was 9A. (the curtains might have been the main issue, they reeked) They moved us to 9B, and it was wonderful!

Cabana 9a was CSR's only smoking optional building.

Thanks for posting this here. I saw this and if we get put in this building prior to us leaving check in I am going to have them move us or be assured by a manager that this is room was a non smoking one originally.

I thought I read only the top floor was smoking. Is that true?
