Can anyone tell me the best and quickest way to get from CSR to Wilderness Lodge for dinner? Any idea how long it will take? We have a 6:30 reservation for Whispering Canyon.

I would take the first park bus I see at the CSR bus stop and transfer to a WL bus at the park. Give yourself about 40 mins just to be safe. You never know how long the you'll have to wait at the park for the WL bus.

The best way to get there is to drive. If you don't have a car take a bus to MK and then a boat to MK (which will take about an hour). The other way would be to take a bus to DTD and then a bus to WL (which will take about 45 minutes). OR take a taxi which I believe will be about $10.00 although I haven't done that in quite some time so I could be wrong.

I agree if you don't have a car.

Hi
I just booked a package for December. Thanks for all your information Buzz. This resort looks beautiful!! I'll be with my DD, DGD and DNieces at Pop in August. This trip is just for my DH and I. :yay:

Staying at CSR at end of March. Actually chaperoning kids who will be at AS Sports.

I have to be at AS by 8:00 am each morning. I have no car, but do not want to stay at AS..Cannot do a value.

What is the quickest way to get there?

cab is the quickest. under $5.00. Otherwise you have to go to a park and return to All Stars and that is tricky early in the morning.

Cabs are always parked out front of the resort since it is a convention resort.

Greetings all! My wife and I re planning out 1 year anniversary trip, and basewd on finances it looks like Pop for 6 nights or CSR/Caribbean Beach for 4 nights. I'd like to hear a little bit about both (I've already looked online at "official" sites, but I'd like to get everyone's perspective.

Thanks so much!

P.S. Did anyone hear about August 5th being the start of free dining? I was just curious if anyone knew for certain.

I'd go for the 6 nights but check out my CSR website below for info and pics.

Buzz, (or anyone)

I posted this question a while back, but I think it got lost in the posts and never answered...

I have booked a standard view for our trip next June and I requested Cabanas 9B. Since that building seems to be surrounded with water, would my chances of actually getting that request be better if I were paying for a water view?

At CSR, you can get just about any building even if you only paid for a standard view. I've gotten 8a and 9b and only paid for a standard. I also got casita 5 waterview with a standard ressie. It can happen.

Hi All, we've booked CSR for April and purchased a water-view room upgrade. We're traveling with two young kids, we plan to have breakfast at the pepper market most mornings, and also hit the Dig Site several times.

Should we request Cabanas? Or, is there a better choice?

Thanks!

Here are some good choices

Cabana 9b is close to bus stop 1 and the main building with a short walk to the Dig Site (main pool) over the wooden bridge. Most convenient location and most preferred.

Cabana 8a is close to the Dig Site (and playground) and bus stop 4 with a short walk to the main building. (Closest to the Pool)

Cabana 8b and 9a are in between the 2 above. 9a has a quiet pool and is also a smoking optional building.

Ranchos 7b has a quiet pool, is close to the Dig Site and bus stop 4 with a bit longer walk to the main building. 7b is behind cabana 8a.

Casita 3 has great courtyard and fountain views but you will have to walk or ride the internal shuttle to get to the pool.

Casita 5 has some nice fountain and lake views and is close to the Dig Site but farther from the main building.
