I have my ressie for CSR made already, but my question after reading some of the other threads is that there are many discounts available if you look hard enough. Our rates for the 9 nights we will be there is 119.00 per night. It is a convention rate, should I be exctatic about my rate or should I keep looking for a better one? We definately want to stay at CSR and I would not switch resorts, but what are the chances of me getting say a 99.00 rate? The only reason I ask is because there will be 6 of us and I am required to get 2 rooms and hey, 20.00 X 2 rooms X 9 nights saves me quite a bit. Thanks for any help out there. :)

$119 a night??? YES be estatic!! I'm paying $168 a night and that's a AAA rate of 15% off! Of course this is in "summer" season.

We are part of a convention happening July 6 & 7 and we get that rate. I am assuming by your response that its a pretty good rate? I have some friends that told me they got a 99.00 rate for CBR last year in July and since the two resorts are both moderate, I was curious as to if there were any 99.00 rates at CSR.

Wow! $99 is a great rate for a mod...any mod...especially in the summer! :thumbsup2 Let us know if you find it somewhere!

Congrats on the $119!

Is there any way to find out what groups or companies are holding conventions at CSR?
I usually just search GOOGLE and type "2007 CORONADO SPRINGS CONVENTION" and search through the results. You won't get all of them but you can get an idea. You can add the month too the search also.

Here are two I found

VNU Learning Expo
February 26-28, 2007

National Scholastic K-12/Collegiate Chess Championship
December 12–14, 2008

Here's another one...the International Builders Show, Feb. 7-10, '07.

*How many pools does the casita's have. One. Each area has one quiet pool along with the main pool in the middle.

*What is the best place to stay if I want swim in the morning. the casita pool is the only one with lap lanes but most of the pools are quiet in the morning including the main pool.

I read in an earlier post that if you use ME your bags are delivered about 3 hours after your plane lands. What if your plane arrives early in the day. I believe my arrival is 9am or so. Checkin isn't until 3.

As I understand it you can check in but your room may or may not be available. if it is not available the resort will store your bags until your room is available. Go and have FUN!

Cool, thanks. We are not going to the parks the first day. Instead, we will do Downtown Disney (get the shopping out of the way first!!), let DD swim at the resort, relax (travel is NOT relaxing), have dinner and get a good night's sleep in preparation for a busy three days of park hopping!

Is the siesta pool bar open every day? And are the food items listed available everyday? Thanks Kathy
