I read on Buzz's site that you can refill your mugs at 'Pepper Market, Francisco's, La Tienda, Siesta's and the coffee and danish window just to the right of the Pepper Market entrance'....can anyone tell me what they offer at each of these locations?

TIA.
The Pepper Market has everything from soup and salad right down to prime rib and ribeye steak dinners. They have a bakery too.

La Tienda has prepackage sandwiches and snacks.

Francisco's is a full bar with nachos and other appetizers.

The walk up window has danish and other items from the bakery.

Siestas has burgers, chicken fingers and nachos and other quick items.

Menus are located on allearsnet.com

Thanks but I don't think that I was clear with my question......what type of drinks can you get with your mug at each of these? thanks.

I know I saw this somewhere I thought, but how do I find out the Convention schedule? We will probably switch resorts if there is one going on while we're there next year...

Thanks!

I wouldn't necessarily change resorts if there was a convention going on. There was a convention when we went last year and we hardly noticed. The pools were nearly empty which was nice for our family. The only time I saw conventioneers was in the food court area. And the only reason I knew there were participants was because of their company logo clothing. If it wasn't conventioneers it would have been other vacationers.

Don't switch resorts because of conventions-they are a "plus" to CSR! Conventons=less people on the buses-less people in the pools-and often less people in the PM and The Maya Grill.:thumbsup2

I've read about 50 pages of this thread. Great thread. Tell us why we would want to fax a request for a cabana versus a casita? Are the cabanas closer to the bus stop?

Are they closer to the Pepper Market and lobby? Or what makes them better in your opinion?

thanks

Both sections are equally close to a bus stop. The cabana section has better proximity to everything. Here are some building good choices.

Cabana 9b is close to bus stop 1 and the main building with a short walk to the Dig Site (main pool) over the wooden bridge. (Most convenient location and most preferred)

Cabana 8a is close to the Dig Site (and playground) and bus stop 4 with a short walk to the main building. (Closest to the Pool)

Cabana 8b and 9a are in between the 2 above. 9a has a quiet pool (and is the old smoking optional building).

Ranchos 7b has a quiet pool, is close to the Dig Site and bus stop 4 with a bit longer walk to the main building. 7b is behind cabana 8a.

Casita 3 has great courtyard and fountain views but you will have to walk or ride the internal shuttle to get to the pool.

Casita 5 has some nice fountain and lake views and is close to the Dig Site but farther from the main building. Close to bus stop #2.

Other than having it on your reservation, the only other thing you can do is fax in your request which seems to be debated on the boards. Calling will do you know good because you will never reach the resort itself. Follow the instructions on allearsnet. http://allearsnet.com/acc/cro1.htm

Thanks Buzz,i think i'll just wait and see.Hopefully because we arrive on the 13th Dec it may not be mega-crowded so we can ask to change if we don't get what we would like.

We wouldn't be going to Disney until 2009 so I'm doing a little dreaming here. How abundant are connecting rooms at CSR? We're a family of 5 and when we go all kids will be over the age of 3 so I know for a moderate (w/the exception of POR) we would need 2 connecting rooms or get the jr suite. Thanks for any info.

50% of the rooms are adjoining or connecting (which means a door between them).

I saw this CSR seating area pic on Tripadvisor. Can you still find it at CSR? If so, where is it? It looks lovely. I could see picking up a meal at Pepper Market to go and then sitting down for a lakeside view.

Mom22boys,

That lakeside seating is the new Laguna Bar area...
They have a number of tables as well as a bar right on the lake area. There are also additional tables up next to El Centro for additional seating. It is very pretty, but can get crowded in the evenings....

Buzz,

This may be an odd question, but do you know if they have Caffeine free drinks in the Fountain at Pepper Market? I can't have caffeine anymore (or so the Cardio dr. says!) and I'm not a big fan of Sprite, which I know is Caffeine free. I am looking for CF Diet coke or CF Coke.

Thanks for your great info! We will be there in 31 days!

also, what is the fax number for sending requests there? I guess I had better ask to be near a bus stop since I also just broke my foot for the 4th time! I should just buy money in the Bledsoe Boot company!
