The New Codes Are Here!!!!!!!

WOOHOO..Discount applied!! Granted I had to jump through some hoops, and cancel part of our reservations through the travel agent, and then book them myself through CRO..but it's WORTH it!! We're saving over 600.00. Went from a standard room at 266 (includes tax) a night....to a Woodsview for 182(includes tax) a night.
NOTE: For June 3-13 all of the standard rooms are gone. Only Woodsview and Courtyard left.

From mousesavers:

All Stars - $84 standard
Moderates - $104 standard
Wilderness Lodge - $149 standard, $164 woods view, $200 courtyard view
Animal Kingdom Lodge - $149 standard, $205 pool view, $225 savannah view, $390 concierge
Boardwalk/Beach Club/Yacht Club - $239 standard, $305 water view
Contemporary - $174 standard garden wing, $280 tower
Polynesian - $254 garden view, $340 lagoon view, $350 garden view concierge, $435 lagoon view concierge
Grand Floridian - $365 lagoon view
Other resorts, room types and views are available at varying prices!

Looks like even the ones "listed" can differ from what
you will get when you call!

Thanks to the code, and Dreams Unlimited, I was able to upgrade my ASMo DreamMaker package to a CBR DreamMaker package for $120 more. I was hoping the codes would allow me to do this! I'm doing my happy dance right now :bounce:

I think those prices are without tax. I called today and got AKL sav. for 250.88 with tax. and Poly garden for 283.21 with tax.....225 savan,, and poly garden at 254... maybe these are without tax...I hope or I will be calling back to try to get these rates...thanks...amy

Yes I agree, I got $147 AKL w/o tax.

You said CRO told you they'd been applying these discounts since 2/12 -- that can't be! I called them on Sunday, 2/16 and asked if they had ANY CODES for Wilderness Lodge. They told me there was nothing.

I'm not doubting your honesty -- just wondering how disorganized that place can possibly be!

Most Cast Members will not volunteer codes. You have to have the code then request they check for availability. Their computers are not set up to just find codes and they are encouraged not to search for them.

Yes this code has been available before now for the intended target area of Puerto Rico and other Spainish speaking areas. It was shared to Mousesavers by someone in Puerto Rico as seen in Spainish People magazine. It was not targeted for mainland US.

amy, the prices listed from mousesavers are without tax included.

I called yesterday and there were no standard rooms at the discounted rate left for our upcoming dates, so I had to upgrade to woods view at WL to have the discount applied. Tried to call back again this am, no standard rooms available with the discount code. I just called back, and now there were standard rooms available, my persistance just saved me another $117!

So maybe there are other codes out there meant for us. I thought I read on another post that a cm at cro said to watch for some new codes.

If we're talking about the same post, the CM was talking about AP rates. AP rates have a "code", but that's one of the few that you can just ask if there are any AP rates available and they'll check.

The CM I spoke with today said she thinks there will be other codes for the time periods that AXA is for in addition to AP discounts. The current code was from a Spanish language publication. She meant we would see other codes soon in various different forms other than the Spanish Language publications, i.e., newspaper, website, etc. AND AP codes.

She told me that new AP codes would not be out until next month or after but I do not know if that is true or not.

This is just info I thought I would pass along

Thanks for confirming what I had read vbfamily. I've been searching for that post for 15 minutes and can't find it. I do remember reading that they were codes in addition to the ap rates that would be available for the same time period.

Along with the code AXA is a code AXB. I believe they both give the same discount. I just read this at Mary's site. If AXA does not work for you try AXB. Good luck.
AXB is from Ebony Mag.

From: tkgdisney - just called and used rate

I asked about an AP rate and she said that it is not availalble today - she said watch in the next week for even more discounts that can be applied to this reservation. She was very encouraging to hope for a deeper discount sometime in the next week both regular and AP. She said the $312.00 at CR should get even better soon

Don't the prices after discounts for AKL seem a little high?

I know I have read about people staying there for $277/nt in concierge-does anyone know if this was during value or regular season?

I was thinking the same thing vbfamily. But the time frame advertised is for Regualr Season not Value Season so that might account for the difference. We just came back on Feb 6th from AKL Concierge and we paid $277 a night including tax with an AP discount (this is value season though).

I hope the AP discounts for Regular Season are better then this code. Friends of ours are going down in May. I am waiting on codes and or AP discounts to come out for Sept as right now we have the YC booked with a comback rate of $207 plus tax for a water view room.

Michelle at Dreams is great. She had made reservations for POFQ for me a month ago. She emailed me today, she was able to use the new code and save me $237.

i'm so excited:D i got the discounts too for my upcoming trip, i was staying 13 nights at csr and changed the 1st 4 nights to akl with the remaining at csr , and with the discounts still saved 50.00 even though i've switched my 1st few nights.

i was really impressed with the cm i spoke to, i started out asking if the ap discounts for apr27-may were out yet( if he said no, as i expected he would do, then i was going to ask him about the codes just posted) and he said just a minute...then said "i think i can do something for you" and offered the discount rates :D he did not say they were the ap discounts(i know they're not) but he did not wait for me to offer him a code, he gave me the discount without one, just for asking about an ap discount. i already had aaa rates but this is even better:cool:

I already had ressies at CBR(at the rack rate) but after reading all of the posts here, decided to call and see if I could apply the new code to that ressie. I got ahold of a really nice CM who, fortunately, knew about the code and took care of me without any problems. I now have 8 nights for $119(before tax but including the extra $15 for a 3rd adult). So much better than the $177 we were going to pay.

Hi Robinlyn,

Thanks that's it. At least I know I'm not crazy. I also wound up calling CRO last night and was told the same thing. They were expecting codes to come out for the same time period as AXA and AXB. Apparently these were special marketing codes that were issued for this time period.

Let's wait and see. Oh, she did say the AP rates would be out as well.
