Recent reviews of HNY havent been very good... but I think we'll love it there....We decided to stay there on our last trip at new year... we walked pasted and agreed it had to this hotel next...

Yeah I read those too. When we stayed there in April we didn't have any complaints. We were even given an upgrade to a lake view room without asking which was nice.

Thats good to hear! OOooo lovely surprise... we've just booked a standard room.. Lake view was an extra £90 i think but we decided not too... more pennies for spending...

Is anybody doing anything exciting tonight?

Nope I'm still putting off planning my maths and English lessons for work tomorrow so I guess I have that to do. I do know what I am doing, just need to type it up.

Mrs Tigger - you've got your tag back- or have you added it yourself

do you know the other languages??LOL

Only the English off by heart... Unfortunately, not being fluent in other languages makes it harder to remember :goodvibes

I've got the French written down as part of the DLRP sheet music book I have, but the words are nothing like the english at all!

For anybody interested, the french verses are (yes, there's 3 in french):

The chorus is:

Car le monde est tout petit,
devant le ciel on se dit
que nous sommes des fourmis
le monde est petit

I'm working on the translation of it, but some words are shortened etc, so it may take a while. I'll post it once I've got it though :goodvibes

Mine is DLH too!! I've wanted to for over half my life!!

Gosh that is nothing like the English.

Are you sure the word in the first verse is jean
- it would make more sense if it was gens

It's possibly a typo in the book...

The book definitely writes it "jean" both times, but I reckon they mean what you've suggested, as I agree the translation makes no sense...

I've just noticed that I've also made hundreds of typos, so I'll post a fixed version, along with google's translation once I've got it to work properly.

After doing a quick translation in my head I prefer the English version - some of the French lines are a bit wierd :rotfl:
