The new cast of Dancing With The Stars

Team Paso wasn't as good. Maks was still whipping Melissa around. I think he takes too big of a step for her all the time. William looked to hesitant still It showed over his face. Like he was still in rehearsal mode.

Donald, however, was fantastic! But, being a football player, he has that "killer" instinct honed. And he killed it. :thumbsup2

I think it should have been a tie. The intensity alone should have been worth 10 points. ;)

I am going to turn on my cell and give Mak and Melissa some more votes!

Are we all watching the same dances and from the same angles. It's great how we all have such different opinions of the dances. :lmao:

Mark put on a shirt! People full of themselves do not look sexy, no matter how great their bodies. :p
He and Derrick definately need to keep their shirts on. An open jacket/shirt is okay. They need to get some more muscle defination before taking their shirts off.

Cheryl is such a gorgeous dancer! I loved the choreography. But it's clear that if you remove William's eye candy appeal, he's just an ok dancer.
She's my favorite pro!

But, I heard the audience roar. Either they did a great move, like a lift that we missed, or I'm thinking she popped out and the audience rallied to keep them going.

There is 2 kids in the audience. The boy may have just got an unintended education if she popped out of her dress. :lmao:
I missed it!

Maria & Derek got a song which actually FIT the paso doble. Unlike the couples who had to dance the Argentine Tango and had to tone down the dance to fit the music they got.
Who picks the songs for the couples anyway? Derek got a song that was perfect for him to choreograph to. On the other hand, Mark got a much more difficult one. I think Mark and Christina? did awesome with what they had to work with.

Hey now, Elvis was waaaaaay better looking than William.:thumbsup2 I don't get all the hype over William anyway. He has huge bags under his eyes and his face looks too skinny or something.
I'm not in the William camp either.

A ten! Really! I mean really! I think we need new judges.
It was good but not that good.

OMG, that Paso was smoking! I really liked the intensity of it. Wow, really awesome!
The music helped. I did like Team Paseo better than Team Tango.

Oh, I beg you, please don't. She needs to get gone. She was simply awful and ungainly tonight.

Ditto.:lmao: And her outfit for her Argentine tango reminded me of Depends or a giant diaper maybe. Everytime her wispy skirt blew around, well, it wasn't good.

I was watching the show that y'all were watching!

I have been thinking that the judges are too easy on Melissa/Maks. Last week Carrie Ann said all her hard work was finally paying off. :confused3 I think it always looks as if Maks is dragging her around, and she has a deer-in-the-headlights look on her face.

Tonight.....where do I begin? It was a disaster from the minute Maks picked her up and carried her over his head. I agree about the costume - terribly unflattering. I don't know how to describe the different moves, but when she was low to the ground and Maks was kind of spinning her, the way her leg was kind of bent instead of straight - awful! But the piece de resistance was when Maks picked her up from behind when she was laying on the floor. :scared1: There aren't a whole lot of ladies who would look good in that position, and Melissa, despite looking pretty good for her age, should never have agreed to that move. I just about choked on a grape when I saw that!

And how about the look of disbelief on Melissa's face when she heard the judges' critique! If she watches the replay, there's no way she can think that was good!

I hope Melissa/Maks are safe, just for the sheer entertainment value! I texted my DD and told her I hadn't laughed at DWTS so hard since Kate Gosselin!

I agree about that move ... especially with that costume! But I have to disagree about her looking "good for her age". She's younger than me and looks like she was rode hard and put up wet. I think it might be her weight loss, but she really looks old and wrinkly.

:rotfl2:

I guess I was just trying to find something nice to say about her, after I was so harsh about her dancing! What I should have said is that her body isn't too bad for 40-something (although parts of it are obviously paid for). I agree with you that she is kind of rough looking. Was she overweight at some time? I didn't know she had lost some weight in the past.

Have you noticed that every week when she is listening to the judges' comments, she looks at them with her head tilted and those lips puckered up. It's such a strange, confused look, and she does the same thing every time. Especially tonight, when she looked shocked at their comments!

:lmao:

I think it was her breaking her back. George Clooney who had back problems after getting hurt on Syriana, said he thinks age finally catches up with some people after an illness.

I remember seeing Ann Margaret being the sex kitten in her Elvis movies, then looking really old for her age decades later. My mom said that she had fallen 22-foot off stage in Lake Tahoe, NV, during a concert. :scared1: Yeah, she looked like she had been through stuff. :(

I'd much rather watch Mak than Jaleel! ::yes::

::yes:: Yes, I will be happy for Kym when they go.

If anyone doubted that Katherine has studied ballet, this rhumba really shows her training. Se has perfect ballet form.

A shirtless Mark was very distracting from the dance. It did nothing to inhance the dance. The team Paso, taking the jackets off inhanced that dance. BIG difference in what the dance calls for and what it doesn't.

Did you SEE Maks clenching his jaw and teeth when the judges criticized their dance?!?! It was right after Carrie Ann said it looked like the Cirque du Soleil gone wrong.:rotfl:

Seeing as how much was made of his hurt ankle, I'll give him the benifit of the doubt that it was a reaction to her comment. They danced like they were being cautious. Even Melissa's face seems to show fear that Maks wouldn't be able to do the dance.

What just happened? Do you think Chelsie popped out of her dress and they had to show the DWTS logo? :scratchin

Like I posted last week, she was THIS CLOSE to pooping out then, so it really wouldn't suprise me if she did. Also like I said last week, they need to use more of the double sided tape and get that outfit good and taped into place.

Ok, I love Roshon, he's such a cutie with lots of enthusiasm. His tango was actually pretty good! And really, Lady Gaga for a classical music selection?:lmao: Please.

Glad to see that we weren't the only ones who thought that was a joke. Please there had to have been an actual classical piece that they could have danced to.

Now THOSE are three guys who can take their shirts off ANY TIME :cool1:.

:smokin:

Ya, her leg in that spin was god awful!! And I would like to never see a replay of the other lift.

I've got a question and there's no snark intended - What do you all see in Roshon that I'm missing?
I can tell you why I like him. First of all, I think he is a very fluid and natural dancer. I thought he started out good and has become even better. His latin dances are energetic and upbeat, but he can dance with control and confidence like in last night's tango. I also like his demeanor. He is sweet and humble and you don't see him fighting with his partner. He seems genuinely happy to be dancing on the show and exudes delight with his bright smile. Last night he looked so suave and debonaire ... like a little baby Rat Packer. What's NOT to like?

That's a great description! I really like Roshon and don't know why he ends up in the bottom. He has the same personality as Kyle Massey, who also made me smile.

I don't think I could say this any better. He seems like a positive, non-dramatic force within the show. He takes criticism (even when NOT AT ALL DESERVED) well. He treats Chelsie with respect. He just seems like such a good kid, and it really pisses me off when the judges seem to pick on him. I guess they just don't like the younger stars for whatever reason. It's a shame, because I think he is very talented and he and Chelsie are so much fun to watch. Much better than seeing Melissa swung around like a lasso.
