Swan and Dolphin to Contemporary?

I'm under the impression that in a split stay Beach Club will move my luggage to Contemporary for me - but I'm thinking the same is not true for Swan and Dolphin? We're both going to be ECV bound, and without a car. We would love to save the money by staying at D&S, but not sure how to solve the issue of luggage.

I believe WDW resorts will transfer luggage TO the Swolphin, so I'd guess it goes both ways. However, I don't have first-hand experience -- maybe someone else does.

Swan...uses Mears deluxe motor coaches. The tiller goes down and the ECV goes under the bus. It works great if you can walk up a few steps. If you can't do the steps let them know. Alternate transportation can be arranged.

Not looking to take the bus - staying in the epcot area so we can drive ecvs to Epcot and DHS then switching to the contemporary so we can use the monorail on our ecvs for mk

I stayed at the Swan then moved to the BW and there were no issues transferring luggage from the Swan to BW.
This was in 2023 though.

Yes, there is a walkway from the Contemporary to the Magic Kingdom, no monorail required. I've gone both ways using an ECV, no problem.

OMG love this! I was really not looking forward to being separated by cars so the wife and i could both fit.
