Well, nothing is booked or finalized, but for now we're planning on being at CBR from November 7-14, 2015. So dansdad, go ahead and add us to the beach bums roll.

Yahoo! We arrive on the 27th and our window opened last night at 9pm pacific time. Where are you located? You might be able to do the same. There were tons of Fast Paases for everything so you should be good!

So good to hear that there were plenty of fast pass options for you! Congrats!

No. Not like that. You'll need a credit card on file that will link to your resort stay & your magic band in order to use the magic band to make purchases. Then, what you can do, is every night go to the concierge desk in Old Port Royale and pay for each days magic band purchases with your gift cards. OR just keep the gift cards on you and use them as you need them for souvenirs and dining.

SO... could I just carry gift cards to pay the gratuities for my dining--we have free dining and will not often be "purchasing" extras--no alcohol etc.
We get great "free gas perks" buying gift cards at our local grocery store--I paid my package off with gift cards and havent aid for gas in 2 months--Was planning on buying some more gift cards to use as my vacation spending money and keep the free gas rolling --another great justification for my vacation is the $100's of dollars I have saved in gas!!

I was really hoping that they Pirate beds would be upgraded to Queens but I'm still excited to be staying at CBR 12/12-12/18! This trip is a surprise for my DD and I can't wait to see her excitement! This is our first stay at CBR and I am counting down the days!

I am so excited! Just confirmed our dates and booked airfare today for 12/5-12/13/14 at CBR! Our first family trip (first visit for me and two DDs) was last year around the same time and we stayed at AoA. I loved it so much I came back for a spring break girls trip in April with a friend and brought DDs (stayed at AoA again). That time we just did MK for one day and both waterparks/resort pool. This time will be our first stay in a moderate and I'm so excited about CBR reading through all the posts and pictures with the refurb! We will also be celebrating three of our birthdays while we are there (DH, mine, and DD will be turning 5)! Can't wait!

Sept 6-13

First time staying at CBR, staying here to get free dining (free dining also a first for us).

I'm sure we will have a fantastic time at CBR, really looking forward to it. My wife and I will be celebrating our 25th anniversary!

We spent these same dates in Florida for our honeymoon, back in 1989 (Sept 2-16). We are planning on re-creating some of the same photos we took back then, should be fun!

Trying to decide what to request I booked a preferred room but looking at the refurbished rooms I might just request one of them instead with anything but parking lot. I don't mind walking, we just got a preferred since my mom will visit and it will make it easier on her.

Decisions Decisions....otherwise I think I should request just a courtyard view, no parking lot I guess.

Currently the machines take quarters only. There are change machines in each laundry room, but do sometimes run out of change.


There are 10 washers and 12 dryers in each laundry room. It is $2 each for the washer and approximately a 20 minute dryer cycle.

Another from Chicago suburbs! We just booked our 1st stay at CBR for Dec. 21-27. Christmas with the mouse...party of 12. We typically stay deluxe or CSR, but couldn't pass up free dining over the holidays. Looking forward to trying a new resort, especially a refurbished one!!!!

Hi Guys,

We have finally decided we will be staying at CBR when we come to the world! I am very excited to be getting somewhere! I think CBR is going to be perfect for us (Me, DH and DD 2 turning 3 on the trip).

We are coming from Australia so we are super excited that we can actually do this for our Disney mad little girl. Any tips for building/room requests?
