I agree as well, looking forward to seeing some pictures of the renovated rooms with the murphy beds- I have seen a few of the pics already posted previously but more is always better. I have requested Jamaica or Aruba for us. I am just hoping the walk will not be too bad- I have a problem with my hips after walking an extended period of time-(there are no more preferred rooms available- I asked) I am starting to walk more and more to get myself in shape for all the walking we will be doing come December- but I still would like to be close to center- I see where there is a bridge that you can walk across to get to the center/food court. This reminds me of POR where we have stayed before and loved!! We have a water view booked so hoping for building 45 or Aruba right next to that.

Wanted to ask about the internet..do they have wifi and if so what is the cost? Also, what is the cost for bike rental and how long? Thanks in advance. Any other suggestions I should take- this is our first time at this resort.

This is probably a silly question but what are the chances if being able to switch to a regular room upon check in when you have a pirate room booked? We are checking in the week before thanksgiving. I booked with free dining. Originally there was nothing available other than All Star Music, so I booked there just to have something. Then Pop opened up so I switched. Finally, just this morning a pirate room at CBR! Unfortunately, I have zero desire to stay in a pirate room because the location is terrible. Has anyone ever switched to a regular room when checking in? I don't even want the price difference back, I just want to stay in Jamaica or Aruba to be close to OPR LOL

The close Aruba building is 51 if you want to add that specific building to your request.

There is wifi at the resort in the rooms and public areas. It's hit or miss in the rooms though, but works well at Old Port Royale. The wifi is free.

Doing the happy dance because it's almost here. Will be at CBR Aug 11-22 and hopefully adding a couple days pre check-in at the beach somewhere on the gulf.

I have ADR's for the first week and then plan for extra relaxing at the resort the second week. Just me and DH this trip.

I have ADR's for the first week and then plan for extra relaxing at the resort the second week. Just me and DH this trip.

Awesome! This is our fifth time at CBR and it's our favorite resort for many reasons so I hope you enjoy your first time there.

I saw the pic of the shampoo they leave in the rooms. We've been there before but never used it. Has anyone used the complimentary shampoo? Is it good shampoo? Just wondering if that is 1 less thing I have to pack.

I never pack any shampoo or conditioner. I have sensitive skin and have never had a problem with the toiletries supplied by Disney.

The shampoo h2o is actually pretty good. We keep the bottles and use it at home. You can buy all the products you get in the room in bigger bottles in the resort stores.

Oooh! This is my specialty! And my picture I LOVE the toiletries at the resorts. Disney is partnered up with a company called H2O Plus. Disney got me HOOKED on their products. I love the lotions. At CBR, you get the bar soap, shampoo, & conditioner in the Blushing Orange. They also sell the full sizes in the shoppes. The company website is: www.h2oplus.com

I'm totally hooked on the products. I buy loads of it when I see it show up at our local TJ Maxx

I've been trying to follow as many posts as I can here regarding the renovation since we are staying Sept 27-oct 3. I read on another website that the last Reno at CBR completed 65 rooms a week. Does it seem like that is the case this time?

There is no schedule. But I would say there's a very good chance they will be 100% completed by then.
