Thanks so much for all your live reporting and answers to our questions during your trip! Can't believe you are not on the Mom's panel. You are such an asset to Disney!

We did the breathless cruise before it was discontinued. Also we did a wishes cruise. But this will be our first pontoon cruise for Illuminations. We didn't hint at all, it was a total surprise!

Just finished dinner at Mama Melrose. I am sooooooo full!!!!!

I think we got the best room on the 5th floor! Lagoon view looking right towards the boat dock. Also we got a free fireworks illuminations cruise for Thursday night!! I'm proud of management for making things right for us after such a crazy two days. Now we can relax and enjoy the rest of the week. Hopefully Saturday doesn't come too fast!

We has the Calamari and Tomato Mozzarella appetizers. Both were good. For dinner dh and I had the penne vodka, and the kids had pizzas , all was very tasty. I think it's typical single table service food quality.

Can I get a little sympathy for my boys? We don't get out of school until June 26!!!

YUM! The calamari appetizer looks fantastic. We had that back in 2009 and it came with the peppers but not the other sauces. Pesto? What is the other one?

Oh last year Star Tours made me feel sick. I had to close my eyes for most of it. It was not a good feeling.

That tomato and mozzarella looks soooo good.

Good morning everyone


We were so wiped out last night from EMH we just woke up! I hate to even tell you guys this but when we got back to the room last night around midnight we hadn't received turndown. We stopped at the concierge desk on our way to the Studios and told them we definitely needed turndown because we used all our towels. We saw the CM write down our name and room number, but again there seems to be some sort of communication failure between the desk and housekeeping. So we had to call downstairs last night to have someone sent up for towels and also the daybed didn't have any sheets on it. The lady that came up was very nice, she not only brought the sheets but made up the daybed for us, refreshed the towels, and took away our dirty plates from appetizers. Not something we wanted to deal with at midnight, but at least she was friendly.

Anyway, back to the fun stuff

We are heading to MK today. We have a late start so we probably won't try New Fantasyland, but we'll spend a few hours over there and come back here later this afternoon. Tonight is dinner at Le Cellier. Can you almost taste the pretzel bread and cheddar cheese soup!!!!????

I am just catching up after the weekend and I can't even believe what is going on!!!!!!!!! I am glad you finally got a room (with a better view) and that they gave you the fireworks cruise (a nice touch) but this mousekeeping thing is getting RIDICULOUS!! Like someone else posted, all our YC CL stays had turndown happening at 5pm or something crazy early. I really, REALLY hope that everything else goes well for the rest of your trip!
