The MURPHYS are LIVE from the BEACH CLUB (3/24-3/31) Now at the CONTEMPORARY ;)

People next door just said they upgraded to club level at check in for $100 a day.

Finally made it back to CR after getting soaked! There's no way we can make it back to Epcot after showers and getting dressed for dinner. Luckily the CR CL was able to rebook us for Citrico's! Much closer and easier! :thumbsup2 Am I the only one who is an epic fail at making dinner plans??? :rolleyes1 This is the 3rd night I've had to change our restaurant.
Glad you all made it through the storm!

The best laid plans...;)
At least you have been able to change to good restaurants! Can't wait to hear about Citricos- we are eating there for the first time in June for our adults only dinner!

Excellent video of Poly! I am following your trip - thanks for posting!

Enjoying your report. Video of Poly was interesting. We stayed first floor Hawaii Bldg several years ago and loved the view of the castle. I guess no more.

I'm really enjoying the live TR! Thanks for bringing me along?

Quick question. Since you cancelled LE Cellier the day of, we're you charged the fee or did CL get it waved?

The CL CM waived the fee. I didn't even have to ask her to, she mentioned it to me as soon as she started looking for different availability. :thumbsup2

Last night's dinner was delicious! Nic and I had the filet, dh had the braised beef, and Connor had the kids macaroni. For appetizers we had the risotto, the heirloom tomato and mozzarella salad, and the sauteed shrimp. Everything was prepared well, the filet was a little under temperature, I ordered medium and it was definitely more of a mid-rare. But I was too hungry to send it back. ;)

After dinner we went to MK, caught Wishes and did several rides. :cloud9: If you've been unsuccessful riding things during the day I highly recommend trying again between 10:00-midnight, after the fireworks. We walked on to Jungle Cruise, Pirates, Pooh, Speedway, Space Mountain, Peoplemover, and we probably could have done even more if we wanted to. :thumbsup2

We just had breakfast in the lounge, this morning they had cinnamon rolls, blueberry muffins, raspberry danishes, and all the regular cereals and breads.

I uploaded 5 videos last night of the Poly DVC construction to my YouTube account, and I've got more pics going to photobucket now.

If anyone has any questions I might have missed answering let me know. :) Today is our last full day. :sad1: Then it's back to the snow and cold.

Those first floor rooms should be reclassified as lagoon view. Definitely can't call them theme park view anymore. Once the rest of the roofs go up on the villas the castle is going to be completely blocked from the first floor, and from the beach area as well.

My opinion on FP+ , if you are staying offsite and plan to line up for fastpasses then good luck. Because it's noon now and the kiosk lines are still hundreds of people long. You'd be in standby lines shorter than the kiosk lines LOL

I'm very worried about this for our trip in May. :worried: We are staying offsite (which can't be changed now) and I have 2 younger kids ages 7 and 5 which means we won't be there for late nighttime hours. Hoping to get to ride the favorites during the day. We plan to be there for rope drop every day!
Any suggestions?

Maybe it would be best to ride as much as you can at rope drop, then line up for fast pass after? Or split up and have one person line up while the others ride? There definitely seems to be longer lines at some kiosks vs others. If you're planning to be at the park all day you might be better off doing fastpasses for later. I would get a map of all the FP locations now and know exactly where they all are. That way you can choose the shortest line. Good luck!!!

Thanks! I'm thinking that we will head towards the back of the park to find a kiosk near something we want to ride first and one of us get in line with the kids while the other does the kiosk! I've read that most of the kiosks near the front are packed.

I've thoroughly enjoyed reading your report! Happy late birthday!!:lovestruc

Yes, the ones at the entrance are the worst. At AK I noticed the one over by dinoland had no wait. At the studios the one by the ride time board was he worst I saw all week. It was snaked all the way back past the brown derby. Those people will surely wait in line longer for a FP than to just do a standby.

Someone was asking me on twitter about FP return lines. They aren't too bad. The worst one we encountered this week was for Pirates. It was about 20 minutes from the first scan point to the ride. They have one side of the ride dedicated to FP only. But that doesn't really help when it's backed up. Later that day I noticed the FP return was cued up towards tortuga tavern. Crazy!!!

I need to join a support group for dining changes. Just changed Sci-fi to Brown Derby tonight. I canceled sci fi last night around 11:59 pm. Lol

Spent the afternoon at the pool :)

I was surprised they don't have any servers. We had lunch at the pool also. Kids and bacon cheeseburgers, I had the turkey wrap. The food was good. :)

The CR has grown on me this week. I ended up liking it a lot more than I thought I would.:goodvibes Breaking it down I would say the rooms are the best part, I love all the extra space and having the daybed guarantee. We LOVE our view, I rarely pay extra for water view but we have so enjoyed siting on our balcony it is going to be impossible to go back to standard views after this. I think the resort needs a nicer pool area, some flowers/plants/decor or something to spruce it up out there. There's just so much concrete. But it was nice not having to fight for a pool chair, we found them easily. :thumbsup2
