Just a cool thing I noticed last night.... motion detected nightlights in the bathroom!
Very handy!

What a way to fall asleep![]()
Any info on the pool renovation??
Wow, we just saw the "castle dream lights"... awesome!I got some great pics.
Now we're just laying in bed watching the castle turn colors... ahhhhhh![]()
Thank you so much for posting that information.I talked to a lady here at the CR about the grab and go. She said they hit some "unexpected problems" which has delayed the construction progress. She said it should be open in a "few months"... but I'm not sure if that is accurate. She said it would be exactly like Captain Cook's... you'll order from a computer and be given a pager, when it goes off you return to get your meal. She said the menu is really a huge improvement and will offer a lot of great counter service meal choices. But as to when that will happen it's hard to tell.
I did witness hardhats coming and going from the chef mickey's side where they are adding on... but everything on the new grab and go side is at a standstill from what I can tell. Nothing going on over there. Maybe it has something to do with being underneath the monorail track? I don't know.![]()
Great Trip Report! So how are the crowds?
I have been reading on other posts that crowd levels have been busier than usual for this time of year. We leave Sat. for a 4 day get-away/F & W induglence
and I was hoping for lower crowd levels and cooler weather. I think I will get the cooler weather, but wondering about the crowds

Can't wait to hear about MNSSP, have fun! I've only been to Kona for lunch but we loved it, I could've just been really hungry but I would go back. I'd like to check out the sushi bar at the Poly, I'm guessing it's in the bar area?
That view from your room is spectacular!! WOW! Enjoying your report.![]()
Hi Erika, I'm having fun reading your trip report. Your boys are adorable! I love the picture of them waiting for Toy Story Mania. They look so excited!
Just a question, how did you get to see the castle dream lights? Were they testing them out? Thanks!![]()
After spending the day at the studios we came back to the CR for a break and to get ready for MNSSHP. Dinner was at the Kona Cafe and it was great as always. DH and I both got the teriyaki new york strip steak... sticky wings appetizer... kilaleua torte for dessert! YUMMMM![]()
We made it over to MK around 6:40 which was perfect timing to await the festivities. We started back in Toon Town and did all the candy stops to Tomorrowland... then Buzz, TTA, over to Fantasyland, Pooh, Haunted Mansion, Splash Mountain, Pirates, everything was a walk-on.
Headed to the hub for fireworks and parade... around 10:30 it started POURING rainso we watched the parade from Main Street and then headed out the exit. Took the monorail back to the CR and got to bed around 11:40.
Now this morning it's rainingand supposed to rain all day.
We have Crystal Palace breakfast in just a few minutes so we're running off now! I'll update more later. Ohana dinner tonight.... EMH's at Epcot. Let's hope the rain can stop!!!![]()
