Finally got a chance to go on the mummy the other week and thought I would give my little review on it. We went 13 times during the legnth of our stay!!!
First off let me say that the mummy did break down a lot during our stay (on average 2 times a day) it could take anywhere from 15 minutes to 4 hours and 10 minutes to fix.
We were really excitied to go on a ride we hadent ridden a 100 times before
Really impressed with the way they themed the building.
From the loading station we went into the room with reggie mummified and the mummie talking to us, I must say this was great animotronics. (note: 1 time we rode, the animatronic was not working so they projected a face on to the tomb, which was a nice back up plan)
Then into the treasure room which was niceley themed and the mummy talking to us (projected on a screen). Then the wall nearly falling on us was really fun!!!
Then on into the room with the beetles (they could have made this scarier by blowing air on your necks)
Then backward down the slopes which is thrilling
Then the car rotating with the projected mummy talking to us (they could have done this better, the projection didnt seem that good)
Then was shot up the slope which had a cool fog effect
Roller coaster part was fast and really fun but it left you feeling it was short (I suppose they didnt have much space)
Then into the fake unloading station which was cool but they could have done better (fire effect was awesome)
Then you went down the slope fast (where they take your picure) and did another turn and then you go back to the loading station.
Although I may sound critical here, I thourouly enjoyed the ride and it is my favorie at Universal Studioes
I would give it about a 8.5/10 mainly because it made you feel like it needed to be longer.
I Would like to here other opionions on this ride

Gavin
