The Most Expensive Free Trip Ever - TR Link is Up! Pg. 164

Okay....you guys are officially creeping me out now. Spanish?

I let Google Translator do most of the "heavy lifting".

Hey, I love PChef!!!!!! I didn't realize that that's what the "p" stood for. My step-mom got this ice cream scoop years ago that heats up from the body heat in your hand. It then makes it easier to scoop out the ice cream for the perfect scoop! If only you could ship to Canada...

Yes, the ice cream scoop is a lot of people's favorite. I'm pretty sure they do sell in Canada, you just have to find a Canadian consultant.

How about some "stani"? wutirek emec!!! shunimen, cende kushti antingnan zhuretin adamdar bar!!!

Keremet!!!

Okay, I don't even know what language to put into the translator!

Hey, you forgot Alemania!! :sad1:

Ooops. I can't believe I did that. That's the trouble with making lists -- you inevitably leave someone out. I'll have to be more careful for my Oscar acceptance speech.

I think I had some Australian readers too, but I'm not sure if they came over from the TR to the PTR.

What a shame that they don't ship internationally (even though I found out that PChef exists in Germany as well...).

Yes, like I mentioned to jenbear above, you have to go through a consultant in each country.

But that would defeat the whole purpose! I'm trying to give Judy a boost so you guys can get to Hawaii :cheer2:

¿Olvídate de ellos? ¿Cómo?

(This Google Translate thing works great! Much more reliable than my 3 years of high school Spanish -- which has gone out la ventana!)

glennbo123... you owe me a new keyboard protector :rotfl:

The same thing happens when I revisit my old posts, I'm like, what was I trying to say here???? LOL!

Thank goodness you all have always been very understanding

What, I didn't say it right?

Yeah, I know. Oooo, you could have it sent to Bubba...

OMG! I never even thought of that. Oh wow. Now I see some potential happening here. Soooooo what's Judy selling? I wanna take a look-see :hyper:

Bubba is going to wonder why the heck she's getting all this kitchen stuff in the mail

Oh you did great

Spanish it's beautiful, but pretty complicated... this is your conversation with jordanyosh with some little fixes...
jordanyosh: Es posible que tengas fans en otros lugares.
glennbo123: Canadá, por ejemplo, México e incluso Blankastan.
jordanyosh: Es verdad. Olvidé a Tribilín y All7ofus.....
glennbo123: ¿Te olvidaste de ellos? ¿Cómo?
The meaning of the conversation was pretty clear anyway! And you used accents! GREAT!

I'm never sure if I'm allowed to post it on these boards, but I did once and didn't get into trouble. You can find that post (#334) on page 23.

Thanks. I see you fixed Jordan's grammar as much as mine, so that makes me feel better!

Awww! Now I feel like a nitpicker... I shouldn't have mentioned it :headache:

Yeah you should have....I completely cheated! It's good to know that the Google Translator isn't perfect.

I took Espanol for 7 years, but I have forgotten most of it....I may take a class at a community college just to brush up.

I took 3 years in high school and then 1 semester in college (basically reviewing what we'd learned in high school) and then bailed.

Oh that makes me feel better! Well the translator does a good job to translate something you want to read... but I wouldn't trust in it for something I want to write!

I studied French for a year, and since it's very similar to spanish I was doing very good... but after 4 years I don't remember a thing! Too bad because I was starting to understand french movies without reading the subtitles :guilty:

Here in California, many schools don't offer French anymore. It's Spanish, Japanese and Chinese now....

I'm glad I took Spanish.

Japanese and Chinese, that would be awesome. I was planning on study japanese after reaching a good level in french... but plans went awry LOL!

Centuries ago, when I was a student (insert sound of wolves howling), english was taught in "Secundaria" and "Preparatoria" (which would be high school in the U.S.)... but it was awfully repetitive. Imagine 5 years learning english but with only 2 years of effectiveness.

Now enlgish is taught since Primaria (elementary school) and kids come up with a good conversational level, very cool.

So I'm confused. When I go to shop online, will Judy still get credit for the sale or how does it work?

Interesting. Changing demographics, I guess.

They always say it's easier to learn a language when you're young, so it's smart that they're doing it in Primaria. I'm always amazed at people who can speak multiple languages, particularly other countries where almost everybody can.

Go to Shop Online in the lower left. Then select option #2 (Not invited to a show...), click the button that says "Place an order". As you're shopping you should see Judy's info. in a gray bar near the top of the page. As long as you see that I think you're good to go.

I wish they taught spanish when I was younger. I would love to be fluent in at least one other language...

very true. I think it also has to do with where global business will be done in the next few decades...
