So what do I do when I have serious Disney on the brain and nothing to do?
Why, go to the zoo, of course!
We trekked out to the Dallas zoo today. (had never been, had only gone to the Fort Worth Zoo)
But no, I can't escape Disney...
They had what they called a "monorail". It was an open-air tram on a rail that took you to go look at different habitats. Here's picture from inside:
Then, at one point, we get to go under a waterfall. I can't help shouting out, "It's the ever-elusive backside of water!" Of course, no one in our car got it but my DS9.
And of course, lunch was $32 for reheated hot dogs and grilled chicken sandwiches. My soda in a souvie cup was $5. Just like home!
