I did find something - and will post pictures of it. A lime green smaller box thingy!! I think it'll be perfect!

I started "weeding it out" last night... Since I'll have a separate bag for the hotel the night before we leave, I have a little bag of make-up, hair dryer, etc...and then the green box for the trip - which is smaller than the other one, but still has room in the bottom to hold hair gels, etc...

I actually was thinking of buying a train case, but when I looked on ebags they were like $99! I think the one I got from Target was like $9. Much better price! I could actually have gone a little smaller, but this one isn't too bad.

OH and I ended up buying a couple of pairs of sandals that were on clearance! $4 and $5!! So you see now how the smaller box is necessary???

Oh - we went to see Ratatoullie last night...Finally. Yeah, ummm...whoever said they liked it better than Toy Story?? Well, it was cute, but...

So today I'm going to be cleaning the house, entering some bills in the computer, finishing up my LGMH's and doing another run-through to see if I'm forgetting anything. My plan, and I use that word loosely , for next Saturday is to RELAX...maybe a pedicure, but that's about it. I'd like to be all done with packing.

It's going to be a hectic week. Michael has to make up 3 swimming classes that he missed on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. My WW weigh-in is Tuesday night. I have to refill Michael's prescriptions during the week too. The cleaning lady comes Wednesday morning - so of course I'll be cleaning before she gets here! Let's not even go there! Michael's got a Dr. appt on Thursday and I'm hoping his new eye glasses come in before we leave so I can run and pick those up.

I also need to get all of Michael's school stuff ready as we get home kind of late the night before he starts school so I want to have his clothes laid out before we leave, and have all of his stuff ready to go - backpack, etc...

I have to take Angel (our fish) to my office between now and Friday so he'll be taken care of while we're gone...and hopefully he'll still be alive when I get home

Oh - we went to see Ratatoullie last night...Finally. Yeah, ummm...whoever said they liked it better than Toy Story?? Well, it was cute, but...

I dunno if it's better than Toy Story...that's the original, Top 5 Pixar movie though.

The cleaning lady comes Wednesday morning - so of course I'll be cleaning before she gets here! Let's not even go there! Michael's got a Dr. appt on Thursday and I'm hoping his new eye glasses come in before we leave so I can run and pick those up.

This is so random--but I grew up in Kinston!! My dad is from there and my grandparents still live there! I grew up going to ECU football games! We live right outside of Raleigh now.

Can't wait for more!

You have the usual multi-tasked list of everything to get done before you go. I know you will get it all done. What a great plan to relax the day before you take off! I sure hope it works out for you. A pedi is a great way to 'start' your trip!

I started weeding out this morning. There's no way in heck I'm going to fit everything. I need Mary Poppins bag, seriously.

OH and I ended up buying a couple of pairs of sandals that were on clearance! $4 and $5!! So you see now how the smaller box is necessary???

Maddie and I liked it better than Cars. But Toy Story... that's a tough call. But see Maddie and are Food Network addicts, so we love the whole "cooking scene" stuff!

My plan, and I use that word loosely , for next Saturday is to RELAX...maybe a pedicure, but that's about it. I'd like to be all done with packing.

We have a hairy weekend next week, so I plan to RELAX on Monday. Oh, wait... nevermind. They'll be no resting, until I'm on the plane.

OMG! You're just like my mother! She cleans before the cleaners, which makes absolutely no sense to me!

Our fish commited suicide last year, days before he was supposed to go the Fish sitters house. I guess Doogal (our fish) decided death was a better option than staying with The Ducks. Not that I blame him. Doogal, that is.


Ok, so did you decide what day you're going to do LaNouba? I don't have a open evening and when I asked Andy, I thought his glare was going to melt the skin off my face! Jeez! I guess he's tired of me changing the plans!

It soooo wasn't as good as Toy Story, but cute though. I kept listening for John Ratzenberger's voice in it and never heard it, but stayed till they showed the credits...he played someone called Mustafa or something like that... Little bit of trivia...

Hey S'late! No - Allegiant didn't "stop"...they just don't fly in the summer because it's slow for them. They start up again around October-ish I think. I'm flying Southwest out of RDU this trip. I MAY fly Allegiant to Orlando in January, depending on how many credits I need for SWA - see, we're going to Colorado in May, so if we're close enough to where one or all of us can get free flights, then I'll fly RDU out of Raleigh in January. I have one more flight I have to take in October to go to St. Louis so hopefully I'll be racking up the Southwest rewards that we'll get at least 1 free ride . Right now, booking for January through K-town is around $59 if I remember right...

Well Jen, we'll see if the relaxation part actually works though! I even cleaned the back of my SUV out yesterday - took the beachchairs and stuff out that have been residing in there all summer, vacuumed all the sand out, etc...

WHAT?!?!? How can that NOT make sense?? You mean to tell me that at a moment's notice someone can come in and clean your house? And you would NOT have to put anything away, or move any stuff? I like to put everything away - like the mail that ends up on the kitchen counter, instead of entered into Bill Pay and then shredded or filed, get all Michael's toys up off the floor, etc...

I don't really have an open evening either - some of our dinner's are as late as 7pm...Tony said he'd LIKE to go again, but doesn't HAVE to go this time so I've been stressing over it...and did nothing. So I guess we may skip it

See...that's WHY I clean first...we're not SLOBS, but not neat freaks either...and she charges me $70 to wash the windows, the blinds, the walls, the cabinets, wash the floors, vacuum, dust and clean the bathrooms...Tony couldn't pay ME $70 to do all that!! So I clean before she comes to do the real dirty work...

We have a 7:30am flight on the 20th...leaving for Raleigh on the 19th and spending the night in a hotel. Still on the fence about taking my laptop...Probably not...

I am ALL ABOUT date nights!! We usually have at least one each trip...I don't have one "scheduled" this trip...hoping to squeeze some time in this trip Michael LOVES, LOVES, LOVES the Neverland Club...asks...no - begs...to go back. He's been to Cub's Den at WL too and loved it there too. Next up...Sandcastle Club!!
