The Mominator Vs. The Kinder Gentler Me...Go Read the TR!!!

:rolleyes1

Hello? Hellooooo??

:surfweb: I'm greying here, sista!!

popcorn::

Hurry, I have to leave soon.......

Ok, so I called and ordered tickets for the Pirate & Princess Party. I ordered DH one too...just in case...

Anyone care to wager on whether or not he actually goes? Payable at the bar???:confused3

So anywhoooo...I order the tickets thru DVC member services. I bought them for Tuesday night the 21st. And I got the DVC/AP discount. Sweet.:thumbsup2

Ken, the super-friendly-yet-you-could-smell-how-new-at-this-he-was, tells me my tickets will arrive in the mail within 14 to 21 days. Great. Thanks, Ken. That's all I needed.

You're welcome Lauralee131..have a great day.

Hmmmfffff....a GREAT day. What happened to Have a Magical Day?? I sometimes call for no reason....I ask a stupid question just to hear someone tell me to "have a magical day".

I hung up DISappointed. DISgruntled.

Then I got over it, told myself to have a magical day. It just didn't have the same effect as when someone else tells me that...

Then I got a message when I returned home. It was Ken. Ken was telling me that he was wrong - my tickets won't come in the mail...they're sold as "Will Call" so I have to pick them up there. Fine. I'd rather have them in my hands to fondle, but that's ok.

I may change my parks around a bit...I'm thinking of swapping TL on the 22nd for Epcot and going to TL on the 24th...but will I be happy about that? Hmmm...That's almost like 2 pool days in a row...Or is it? Or perhaps the 23rd....Well, back to the drawing board...:teacher:

Or am I doing this to myself on purpose? Six days is too short of a trip for my mad OCD skills...I end up with too much time on my hands, scrap the plan and make a new one...

Off I go!!!popcorn::

I never got a magical day when I phoned last either  I need to book my P&PP for the 15th soon too, anyone know if it can be done online? They won't sell out will they?

I don't know if you can get them on line...I called because I couldn't find a link BUT I didn't go on Disneyworld.com though...maybe there?

I think we already placed our bets.... he's SOOOOO going!! :rotfl:

Yup.... I get the same thing everytime I call to change an ADR. I think they're on to us!!! :lmao:

I doubt they'll sell out in the next month or so. I don't think you can purchase them online, but I do have an 800# if that helps you. :thumbsup2

I think I'm going to have to pass on the PP&P. Can't go on the 21st, as that's our arrival day and the 26th is my LeCellier night and 28th is my Boma night, and I'm not willing to part with those!! Maybe next time! :rolleyes1

Just because I'm high maintenance doesn't mean I don't deserve a magical day!!:headache:

Both of you are at Epcot? Hmmm.....I may need to make that happen...

Yeah, it's my arrival day too and I'm sure I'll be beat, but I'd rather go that night than on a crowded weekend night:confused3 KWIM?

Just checked the schedule and it's an Epcot day with a 5.30pm ADR at Coral Reef :thumbsup2

That's what I was thinking we're going on our second day as it's a wednesday and should hopefully be less crowded but we may still be on UK time so a big nap will be called for, yep I'm scheduling in a nap :faint:

This is why you need to get started on your pre-trip report! :rolleyes1 We need to compare notes and stuff!!
I was just thinking that as I just bought my P&PP tickets online :woohoo: I will get my thinking cap on I promise, trouble is I like reading everyone elses too much!

Good morning sweetie! Ugh...Michael was up, watching cartoons, all the lights in the house were on...AGAIN...:headache: for some reason he has been waking up in the middle of the night A LOT lately...:sad2:

Have fun at the assembly!! Catch up with you later!!

Ok, so now I'm wondering about whether or not I should get the dining plan...

The more I run the numbers, it'll be cheaper than just using the DDE card. DH, in his infinite wisdom, says no.

Which automatically makes me think I should:rolleyes:

BUT...it's a lot of food...

BUT...for some reason, when we go out to dinner when NOT on vacation, which is very rare for us in the first place, we order appetizers. Not dessert, but we do order appetizers...

Our average TS meal for the 3 of us runs close to $100. That right there ought to tell me YES - go ahead and get the dining plan. Right?:confused3

I think it'd be worth it. If only for the TS meals. So now I'm going to go back to the plan and make some more ADR's as I really don't have many made yet, and then call and get the dining plan.

I think.

Speaking of the dining plan...our favorite psycho stalker has been around, commenting on the free dining plan...:lmao: :lmao: I think I'll be lurking to see what comes of it...:rolleyes1

So anyway...that's my mission for today and into the weekend...come up with a more solid plan - you know, fill those "holes" and try and get some ADR's made...

I also need to upgrade my AP. I think. I never bothered upgrading to the premium the last couple of trips as I knew we wouldn't be hitting any water parks and I really didn't expect we'd go to Disney Quest. So then as I was thinking of upgrading, I thought I'd see what the cost difference was to pay admission to TL over upgrading. BUT if I upgrade, then if Heaven forbid, we deviate from THE PLAN, and decide to go to a water park more than once  or something, then it would pay for itself...

I can't remember what the cost was to upgrade...something is making me think it's like $100 a person for some reason. So would it be worth it? :confused3 That remains to be seen I guess...

So that's my mission for today (at work) is to make these decisions...

And again this trip, DH wants an "unstructured" vacation, which means that I'll once more have to create the Plan, put it in writing, commit it memory, chew it and swallow it and follow the Plan, acting like I'm being spontaneous....:sad2:

The things I do for love....:rolleyes1

That's the mominator we know and love!!

BUT.... you can order your dessert "to go" and have yourself a little midnight snack, you know to help soak up the JD & coke! ;) Or with your morning cup-o-joe!?! Just sayin' :rolleyes1

Using FDM, I would say that's affirmative! :teacher:

It's takes a lot of planning to appear unstructured!
