Great update! Very weird about the ketchup, they did it at breakfast! I think my challenge with WCC would be doing it at lunch period, just too much food for lunch. I actually love resort dinners but you do have to plan the timing appropriately not to be frustrated with how much time it is. For us, by that time, we need the break and it's usually quite welcome. Sounds like the timing was good for you this round and how perfect that you were headed to Kidani as with that much in leftovers, you'd want them!

Glad you enjoyed the food so much. Seems like all the drinks are bottomless, we had bottomless cocoa and juices at breakfast and I know that cocoa (complete with whipped cream and sprinkles) filled people up.

The Judging Committee emerged at about midnight last night from their sequestered adjudicating room (which they call the "Ad-JUDY-cating Room" -- they do have a sense of humor despite being really serious most of the time) with their decision for this round's points:

That's pretty funny, but it does sound a little obscene!

Half of this round's points to Magdalene for being the first with the answer of obvious Judy's. (The "reasonable person" test. No offense Marv, it's a legal term.)

Oh, so now you can earn points for being the first to give an INCORRECT response??? Arrrrr, me thinks you need to go back and re-score some of the earlier rounds if that be the case, me hearty!

The remaining points are split between Tanya, who responded with the correct number including minute pieces of Judy's, and Marv who correctly identified where those minute pieces appeared in the pictures.

Following their pronouncement, the committee ran to the locker room to change and immediately left the stadium by police escort.

It's a darn good thing, them bunch of cowards!!!

nice update glenn, i do have to ask thought what did you think of the briscuit? i thought it was very good i really enjoyed the seasoning on the chicken...but i thought the briscuit was better

the lady did tell us that that chicken is exactly the same kind that is served at the mickey backyard BBQ at fort wilderness.

His pics and report on WCC makes me even more anxious to try it on our upcoming trip for sure!

Hey, I never said that it was too much food, just that I was very full. Well, thinking back how there was so much that I never officially got "seconds", I guess it was too much.

I'm beginning to think that maybe Jeffro didn't like me, since I was a tourist who took pictures of my food.

I think my challenge with WCC would be doing it at lunch period, just too much food for lunch. We also had Biergarten for lunch earlier in the trip, so I threw in a couple of big lunches, but light dinners afterwards. Yes, the timing for this one worked out. Good planning, I'd say!

I didn't realize that cocoa and juices at breakfast were also. They know exactly what they're doing with the bottomless drinks. I'm kind of surprised that they don't do it at more places.

Not necessarily. When Mark and I went it was for dinner at 5:30 at night and there was NO KETCHUP, no straw action, no Fork, etc. It was dead in the place. It really comes down to the servers on any particular day is what I have heard.

I am just in the process of writing our WCC dinner review - to be posted shortly on my TR! So it was fun to compare notes and I would say that we had a very similar experience. But we did not get the tourist comment - I think that was pretty funny!!

And I am sure that "catsup" is just some weired invention to fool foreigners who try to learn English and make them feel humble... Like the word "gaol" - how was I ever supposed to have any idea that it is pronounced like "jail" and means the same (and just to make this clear, I came across this because in London I lived close to (but not in!) the Pentonville Gaol/Jail). Or the silent "P" in pneumonia....

We plan to do the DDP this trip, so pretty much all of my ADRs are for dinner so we get more of our money's worth. They are early enough that we can take a break, relax and eat, and still make it back in the parks for some evening entertainment and use up some collected FP sets!

And I'm glad to hear you enjoyed WCC. The chicken was my favorite thing in the skillet so I'm happy to know I'm in good compay. (Even it's a Disney jogger.) My mom was down last May and they had terrible food and service at WCC. I hoped it was a fluke and blamed the sesonal staff turnovers with the college program. It's good to know they are back in the normal swing of it. Even if they didn't bring you ketchup. Maybe he was tryin to avoid cluttering up your "studio" with extraneous glass ware. (DED over the photo comment BTW...I've often wondered if the CM's are aware of why so many people feel compelled to capture an image of their dish.)

OH and thanks for the link to SurfinTX's DLR report. I've been on the DIS quite a bit of late, but all of my time has been devoted to the DLR planning boards. NOT that I'm announcing anything. But if I were, which I'm not, it would probaly come in a couple of months. Which is not an announcement BTW or a pre-announcement. In any official capcity. But I will be reading his TR with a newfound interest.

The brisket and pulled pork were both very good. I focused a little more on the negative in my TR, but for the most part it was good stuff. Maybe adding the extra food causes them to lose focus on the ribs?

I thought that chicken was great. I didn't realize that it was your favorite item from the skillet or I would've gone in with big expectations.

I've heard a couple of less-than-favorable reports on WCC, so "inconsistent" is maybe the term to use. We enjoyed our meal though, that's all I can say.
