there's a really big concert that happens a few miles from my hometown every summer, and people from all over the country come to it, and think they can handle the heat and laugh at us when we warn them, but when they're in the mud for three days in 110-115 with 80-90% humidity, they tend to think otherwise. haha.

I thought California was fine, to be quite honest.
It was the beginning of August too. Philly was all hot and muggy at 4am, but at 11am LA was nice and breezy. It was like 75ish and not too humid, and it stayed like that for the rest of the week. Maybe we got a cold week or something? I know in Temecula it was getting up to 100 though so it probably depends on how far inland you are.
