I forgot to ask, if anyone from early sailings have reserved La Cinta beach excursion - what were the times offered? Thank you.
Jet lagg having travelled a lot.
My suggestion:-
Nothnig not natural, no drugs etc,
Water, lots of it, no coffee/tea/ anything stronger.
Set your clocks watch's to the distination time as soon as you get on the plane.
Eat according to that.
If you want a sleep do it asap, not end of flight unless dark on arrival.
If you arrive in daylight, stay up do not go to bed until it goes dark.
Kids adjust the best, mine have been up 24 hours going to Vegas.
And mention it again Water, nothing else.
Andrew I totally agree.
Water , water water is a must. Also about staying up, its hard but worth it. Dont know if its just us, but the worst day for Dave and myself is the 2nd day after weve landed. We tend to feel groggy. After that we are fine.
So the basics are....turn your clock ahead to the future time zone and follow in line with that... then don't go to bed until it's bedtime. No naps right? Lots of water and no cafeinne on the flight or all day?
For our flight...we leave at 4:30pm our time which is 1:30am spain time. So we should try to go right to sleep? Or just push through and stay awake 24 hours. We don't land in spain until 5:30pm so it's pretty close to bed time anyways.
What do you seasoned travellers recommend? Adding in my 9 year old to the mix.
Opinons please...

The early one is from 9:15am to 1:45pm. We are booked on the early time. I do not remember when the afternoon time is. I hope this helps.
Andrew - there is a group on our cruise who are trying to book the private room and they basically got the same information you did. They would find out about 30 days out. That was the same response we got when it was booked for the 10 day Christmas cruise. I think DCL tends to hold Palo just in case they get a VIP cruising at the last minute that might want to use it. Christy Carlson Ramono(sp?) and her family were on the Christmas cruise and they ate in the private dinning room every evening. We did get it for brunch one day so that was nice.

Has anyone been able to book the Chocolate Museum in Barcelona on Embarkation day ? I see where you meet at 1:30, is that after you've checked in and given them your luggage ? So when you get back you just board the ship like you were in any other port ?![]()
Wow ... You were lucky enough to book it! It was sold out when I tried to book my tours! I'm hoping some cancel! I booked the Gothic City Walk instead.
No, we're not booked. Can't book until May 10 3am. I'm HOPING to book
it for my Grandson. Sorry if I confused you. Hope you can get it thru the
waitlist.
Aloha,
I'm a flight attendant an we are always changing time zone .It plays havoc with our inner clock. Just avoid alcohol and drink lots of fluids peferable water and juice.Take catnaps they help a lot.
When you get to Barcelona just stay on Barcelona time and go to sleep when you normally do. Get up at you normal time. This should help you adjust. It does for me. I change time zones from 3hrs back to sometimes 10 hrs forward. An don't sleeping pills they just make you feel out of wack the whole day.
mahalo,
