Wow, what a great trip report. Imagine my surprise when I saw a photo of my daughter on there too. (She is the CM behind Ally in the photo at the Lab ) Any chance I could have a copy of it please? Also the You Tube links of the Sail away Party don't seem to work, have they moved somewhere else?

Wow, I can't believe the CM at the Spa was giggling at you! I might have been embarrassed enough to just leave at that point I actually wanted to book the Exotic Rasul for DH & I but it's not offered on the Dream

The Rasual sounds lovely...if a bit...er..unorganized to start. Reading Giggle Monster repeatedly turned ME into a giggle monster and I swear....we have not done the Rasul, I would love to...but I would be horrified I would get the GM too and that would embarass the heck out of me.

A tip, huh? Alrighty then..

I especially love the blue- what a gorgeous color (wheels are spinning and Ron is fast at work to clamp my wallet shut before I let my fingers do the walking and we end up with an all new cruise wardrobe (which we need...sheesh. I have worn the same dresses on two cruises now...can't have THAT!)

Peter Popper and Gopher Mc Coy....snort..OK I'm eating, I'd better stop now lest I choke. I'm glad you got good seats, last time we were lucky to get seats at all but most of the time we barely arrived 5 minutes early. (sigh those days of being a good early arriving diser are long gone).

Loving your trip report! Such a treat to find there is a new "chapter". Too bad about the Rasul CM, but did you like some of it? Were the products nice?

Your family did look lovely for formal night. I love that you were all so nicely colour co-ordinated.

We checked in to the Vista Spa a couple minutes early and the oh so mature CM behind the counter giggled when she said, “Oh….. you’re here for the Exotic Rasul, right?”
I dont think i could ever do this just for that reason.. I would be so embarrased to go in .. I would have to walk in with a disquise like this...

Oh, and for what it’s worth, I’m reading “Cruise Confidential” right now – a Carnival crew member’s accounting of his time working on a cruise ship.

I think the Exotic Rasul would be a lot of fun for a couple IF one or both of said couple are not absolute control freaks. I felt like Captain Hook the whole time, all I could hear was “tick, tock” and I kept “hearing” the giggle monster knock at our door…….
I would be the same way LOL

Once the REAL knock came, we waited…. And waited…. And waited….. and the giggle monster never came back.
see that would freak me out.. I would wonder so was she listening before she knocked LOL or I would get really parinoid looking at every crack or light fixture thinking it was a hidden camera

Giggle monster ran after us as we were leaving to have us sign the receipt. Tip? She wanted us to leave a tip????
SHUT the Front Door... no way.. I would have said here's your tip.. STOP LAUGHING!

When I walked in the door I saw Jeff’s shirt hanging neatly over the closet door – he had it pressed for dinner after getting all wrinkled in the garment bag. One thing I learned is that I will not take a garment bag again. I will just send all items that need pressed out the first day. They are back before dinner the same day and charged less than $3 per item. WELL worth it…….
Best advise here... weve done the garment bag twice now.. its such a waste of a piece of luggage to check both on the plane for us and doesnt keep everything unwrinkeled

I told Jeff that Ally and I would meet him there. We grabbed one wave phone and told him to call when he left the cabin. We hurried to the Walt Disney Theater and were there in about 3 minutes……. Okay, so we hauled AFT to get there. And it was on Day 2 at 5:43pm that I realized the ship is just not that big after all!!!!
So how you like the wave phones.. We cruise 2008bwf LOL

Jeff met us by 6pm, and came bearing drinks…….

OH HECK yea you need to do some shopping.. go cheap Ross, marshalls, heck I find brand new only worn 1x ball gowns for the Marine Corps ball at goodwill.. I am extremely anal about us all matching when I know we are having photos done. I plan all our days in WDW too. We can't have Ally in flowers, me in stripes, and Jeff in polka dots (cause you KNOW Jeff is a polka dot kinda guy....)

My early arriving DIS days have all but passed me by now. It took awhile but I finally realized that at WDW there really aren't any bad seats, and the only reason I got to the WD Theater so early on the cruise was so we could get our drinks without waiting in line......

Cruise Confidential is a great read but let's just say that they work sooo much and when they are not working they are either drinking in the crew bar, or, er, um, uh, shall we say, having an Exotic Rasul with anyone they can find!!!! Seems they all get about 3 hours of sleep/night. Including the captain who seems to spend all his free time in the crew bar, too!!!!

I'm almost done and I'm trying to figure out if this guy is just a disgruntled Carnival employee or if this all accurate. I just cannot imagine living this life!!!!

Yes, SHUT the front door and OPEN your wallet!!!! Tip for a service that WE provided!!!! Well, almost. After all, "tick, tock......"

Captain was NOT too sexy for his uniform.... although I do love a man in dress whites...... Maybe he was snarling cause the McSparklesons looked so much better than him!!!!!

Loved the wave phones. Loved being able to go off and do things independently and still be able to get ahold of each other. And to have them on hand knowing Ally could call us from anywhere on the ship.... BONUS!

But it did take us until the last day to figure out you can TEXT from the stupid things!!!!!
