Up and out by 9:30 and we are off to IOA. Dan Peg and Casey took the day off to stay by the pool - finally warming up! Really excited to see this park for the first time. Had to wait in line for about 15 minutes to get the passes. And we are off!

First to Hulk - only a few minutes waiting time. They have lockers for free to keep your stuff in. All of us went on (mom, dad, dad, DH and I) This was amazing! It was so much fun! The take off was incredible - it really kind of scared me at first, I was screaming my head off. There are so many turns and twists and circles. DH and I loved it. Mom, Dad and FIL thought it was cool but will probably never do it again.

After this we went to Spiderman. This was incredible! So much going on it was so cool. We all loved this one and we returned later in the day. Then we went on Dr Doom - which freaked me out! I think this one is lacking a little in the themeing but I screamed all the way up. We had a view out the back but I'm sure that if you are overlooking the park it's a pretty good view - if you can keep your eyes open! Next, we walked through Dr Suess and rode the carosusel. I wanted to do cat in the hat but we wanted to catch Sinbad so we left this area. (we never made it back)

Went to see the show - quite cute, I think DadMc really enjoyed this one. Some cool effects and corny jokes. I think we then went to Poseidon's Adventure. I was really looking forward to this, but I didn't think it was that great. Cool stuff, but not what I was expecting. I forgot to mention - there were hardly any lines on anything. I mean there were people everywhere in the park, but there were no lines! It was awesome!

After this we went on Dueling Dragons, I think we went on Ice. This was awesome to but we all felt a little queasy after this one and it bangs you around quite a bit. Mom, Dad and FIL didn't really like this one, but hey - at least they tried it! Danny locked the locker by mistake when taking the stuff out but someone came and took care of it. Next it was off to Jurassic Park - I got a kick out of this park, the gates, the electric fences, it looked just like the movie. I loved seeing the Triceratops. Stopped for some lunch and had some great chicken fingers. Walked around the "discovery center" but didn't get to see a dinosaur hatch. When I asked one of the scientists there if he knew when the next one would hatch he said he would go see if he could find out. I explained that my family wanted to leave but I wanted to stay if one would hatch soon. He came back and told me - "You can't rush Mother Nature" so - no luck.

Before we went on the Jurassic Park ride, DH and I bought ponchos (mom, dad and FIL had there's from AK) so we wouldn't take a chance on getting wet like the other day. This ride is cool - nothing scary but cool dinosaurs and the ending hill was fun. Guess what - none of us got really wet - just a little in the face. There was no one in line so they let us go around again. Didn't get wet that time either.

Walk over to the Rip Saw Falls Log Ride, really cute, but when the sign says - you will get soaked - you will! We pretty much got drenched here but we were laughing so hard about it so it was really funny. So we run over to Popeye's raft ride because, hey we are soaked already, and got soaked again. FIL pants were so wet he had napkins in his back pocket that he was wringing out. It was now about 5:30 and we were planning on going on a few things again but everyone was cold and wet, so we only did Spiderman one more time and then me and DH did Hulk once more and then we headed home. This was an awesome day and a really incredible park.

Once we got back to the hotel, we did a quick change and flew over to MGM to get a ride on the RNR. Oh My God! This blew my mind. The take off was a blast. I think this is now my all time favorite ride (followed closely by the Hulk). Mom was pretty nervous but she did it and said she loved it! It was really amazing! (GET IT- Amazing).

Mom and Dad stayed to see the lights again, and DH, FIL and I left to go to downtown to go to supper. We walked around trying to find something for dad to eat (he's a picky eater) and ended up going to Wolfgang Pucks. DH and I got pizza and FIL got spaghetti. Really good. Walked around in some of the shops in the West End. We were kinda tired but decided to stick it out and go to PI to show dad.

Walked around, got Jell-O shots in the syringes. Dad was a hoot. Watched some country line dancing then went to the beach club for a few - too loud for dad. Dragged them into Adventures club. Danny didn't want to go and he made me leave there after a few minutes on our last visit. As soon as we get in, there is a show in the library and I drag them in, DH saying, this better not be interactive and how long does this last. I'm like, don't worry its only like 10 minutes and they won't talk to you. So when they go to seat our party of three - guess where we are put - front and center!

When the lady (Samantha) came out and sang I was like, please don't pick on Danny. She went to the back bar and talked to some people and it was pretty funny. Asking them how the met and how long they've been together and things like that. When she gets back to the front I can see her eyeing my DH and FIL and I'm saying, please don't pick Danny, and guess who she picks - you guessed it - Danny!

So she asked him how we met and he says mutual friends and he asked how long we've been married and he said 3 years 3 months. (everyone else answered like "around two years"). They asked where our first date was, and he says dunkin donuts - a few cracks made about that. Then they asked who else he was here with and he said his dad - and she made everyone go "awwww" then he says and my in-laws too and everyone goes awwww. Then we thought she was done with him, but nooooo. She made him get up and do the bump with her then she made him get on stage and dance! It was soooo funny I was crying - and the whole time I am thinking "he is going to kill me!"

I can't believe I didn't bring my video and I almost forgot I had my camera and only took a picture at the end. Then when she finally let him sit down, another lady comes out and says - Hi Danny! I used to go out with Danny 5 years and 3 months ago - but we broke up cause he brought his dad everywhere. It was so funny - by now Danny and my FIL are cracking up too. Then another lady comes out and says Hi Danny! I used to go out with Danny 7 years and 3 months ago and he used to take me to Krispy Cream. She then said he used to dance for her too but he wore a thong that had a saying on it, but I don't quite remember what she said, but she roasted him. They were then making cracks about his cruller! Oh, I was dying! Since he was such a good sport, they gave him an official Adventures Club Pin.

So now the show is over and he is now going to kill me but we had a good time. He still thinks I set him up and as we are leaving everyone is saying - bye Danny. Even when we were walking around PI, people were saying hi to him. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. We stayed for the induction ceremony and then left the club. We stayed for the Midnight celebration and then drag ourselves home to bed, still laughing. We had a terrific day today.

What a hoot that must have been in the Adventurer's club. I guess if you're typing these trip reports, Danny didn't kill you.

IOA sounds like tons of fun. We're big coaster fans. I can't wait until we get to try them all out. :)

Thanks for sharing your trip with us, Kathy. :)
