The MCLOVINS Hit the World - HARD!!!!! *COMPLETED*

hey lia!! what a great update and we've only gotten started with your MK day! I LOVE that you were up at 3:46am to get ready for RD at 9! LOL! That's hilarious but totally hardcore! Love it! and i love that Stitch yells at me to wake up! LOL! Anyway, love those pics from your welcome ceremony. Sadly, I didn't catch it this trip but it's on the top of my list for next trip! wooho! Can't wait for the next update!!

Omg... you are not alone. I used to go to the movies solo quite often! I actually thought of going alone to see Toy Story 3 and then *pretending* I had not seen it for my mom LOL! I know, so evil, but i'm just DYING to see it! I decided it would be more fun to actually experience it for the first time with her, though, and I didn't want to lie. Ultimately.

Those teens sound like idiots. I admit though, I used to be like that with my friends at horror movies. I remember when my friend Britt and I went to see the Grudge, we were making comments to each other during the entire thing and at the end the girl in front of us turned around and said, "You are BY FAR the most annoying people I have ever sat near in my life." Of course this caused us to double over in hysterical laughter. Rude.

I have contacts too and I HATE WHEN THAT HAPPENS! You poor thing!

And YAYYYY for another Stitch fan! You girls have more in common with me than most of my friends!! Seriously!! No one else I know has a stuffed Stitch, and you, of course, have four. LOL! I love it!:stitch2::stitch::stitch2:

OMG... you've only been to the MK once?!! You are gonna have such an amazing time! I can't wait for the TR! :dance3:

I don't see how anyone can NOT love Stitch. Specially since his pludhies are so freakin huggable!

Yes! I'm not the only lone nut who watches these movies by myself. People always sound so surprised when I tell them that. They don't expect someone as old as me watching a "kids" movie without a kid.

LOL, I can't believe that girl said that to you!!! :rotfl2: That's just terrible

When I finally fished my contact out after the movie, it came with a small string of white stuff. I hope I don't need that.....

And ya, it's good that you're waiting for your mom. I really wanted to watch this with DBF, but he's in Taiwan and won't be back until right before our August trip, so...it's unlikely TS3 will still be in theatres by then :sad2:

Aww, but me writing my TR means my trip will already be over.....Still can't wait for it though! I better see you at my TR! :)

I LOVE PLAYING ZOO. Why weren't you and I born as next door neighbors or something? God.
We DEFINITELY should have been. :goodvibes

And Yuki...

I'm sorry that you had annoying people sitting next to you at Toy Story 3. I was probably bothering everyone with my tearful blubbering, but I don't really care. :rotfl:

And I'm sorry that your contact got all messed up. But I totally understand not wanting to get up and go to the bathroom to fix it. I don't think I moved for the entire movie. Other than to clutch my purse harder as I cried.

Yeah, I was trying not to sniff too loudly during the movie. There was a little girl next to me and she was perfectly fine! Oh gawd.....I cried SO MUCH at the end with Andy........Aw man....thinking about it right now makes me wanna cry :sad1:

I saw Karate Kid last night and cried at that too. A lot of other people in the theatre were blubbering too. Glad I wasn't the only one? :confused3 GREAT movie. Totally recommend it if you haven't seen it.

HEY YOU GUYS, are you excited about Tangled? I saw the trailer for it and it looks SO kickass.

Aww, love the MK welcome show and so glad you enjoyed it. I agree, it is almost a crime to go to WDW and never see it. People are really missing out, it is so Disney. The first time I saw it I started crying too then I thought I got immune to it since I downloaded the song onto my ipod :goodvibes. Well...this April on our first morning I nearly lost it again. I don't know what it is that makes me so emotional when it comes to Disney. (I cried seeing Toy Story 3 this weekend too!). Can't wait for more!

Aww! I have soo much theme park audio on my iPod but I think I will keep that one just for the parks! I love that you cried anyway though! It's just one of those things that gets us Disney fans right in the heart!

Thanks girl! The rest of the day at MK was amazing... coming soon to this TR!!!

We need to start a Stitch Wake Up Call Fan Club or something!

I haven't seen that but Jaden Smith is so cute! He was great in The Pursuit of Happyness!

Tangled looks AWESOME! I love that Mandy Moore is voicing Rapunzel too, she has such a pretty voice!

Just found your TR & lovin' it so far!! :thumbsup2 I have unfortunately NEVER seen the opening show at MK, but hopefully I can remedy that next trip, whenever that ends up being! I'm pretty sure I'd cry buckets too!

Subscribing to catch the next installment. :goodvibes

Personally, I think there's something wrong with anyone who does NOT cry during the opening of the Magic Kingdom. It just seems physically impossible for all but the cold hearted and Disney cynical to not be moved by this. It's like when you see people getting a new start on those surprise home building shows - you just can't imagine that something can be so wonderful AND all yours at the same time.

On another note, as a very casual reader: page 13 and we're only on Day 2? What? I have to go back and see what happened on the other 12 pages!

If you start that club, I'm joining. Even if I've never heard it since this Aug will be my first time onsite.

I didn't know Mandy Moore was her voice! That's gonna be really cool. I hope there's singing in this one!

Jaden Smith is just one of the cutest kids on TV. I just wanna HUUUG him! His dad must be so proud of him, he's doing so well!

Why do they have to grow up???

Hey Jon! All those other pages are just very random talking about random stuff. Like children's cartoon shows. Hey Arnold FTW!

And I agree about the opening. It's just like Toy Story. It's impossible not to cry when you think about it (think about what's happening in the movie I mean, I think....)

Hi Lia! I just read your entire TR!! I love it! You are hilarious!

I can totally relate to the whole strolling-into-MK-at 11 thing as a child. Last time I went with my whole family I insisted that we get there at park opening. Park opening was 7am (it was Easter-time)...and my mom said the same thing your parents did...it's vacation, we want to sleep in! But they gave in, and once they discovered how awesome it was nice and early and how much we could get done, they loved it!!

excited to hear more!

You MUST NOT MISS the show!! Trust me, it is worth getting up early! Thanks so much and thanks for subscribing! And I loooove your userpic!!

haha YES! I wrote an intro, a chapter about the day before the trip, and NINE chapters about day 1! I am a wordy girl, what can I say! I just thought I'd share, you know, every little detail! And this is with hardly any notes... next time I plan to take MANY notes so watch out!! thanks for reading!

Thank you so much!! Yes, once my mom did park opening she was up early almost every day with me!! Once you go that way you never go back I guess! ;)

So, I just spent the night reading your PTR and TR. I'm loving it! I especially love long TR's! Reading them kinda makes you feel like you're there with the writer so, the longer they last, the better!

Also, I just wanted to give some  to a fellow New Yorker-ish (Long Island here)!

Can't wait to read the next update!

You are just like me! I cannot sleep while at WDW. So, I lay in bed and watch Stacy 500 times until I finally fall asleep while watching her.

I'm SO glad you made it to the MK opening show. Isn't it just so cute and happy and magical?! I agree, everyone MUST make it to this show at least once in their lifetime. And I'd die if we were Family of the Day.

Aww, thanks! I'm glad you're enjoying it so much! I couldn't do a short TR! I read these TRs that just breeze through everything and i'm like, "But.....what? Tell em more!"

Yay for being a fellow New Yorkerish! I love Long Island! We're headed to the Hamptons very soon!

TINKGURLFRIEND you are back, yay!!! :dance3:

I'm glad we made it too and now we will never miss it. I'm so excited to see it again. It is just the epitome of Disney magic :wizard:

Hey!!

PERLA!! Thank you!

I'm confused! Which pics am I talking about but not posting??

I'm dying to see the pics of you with Prince Charming, and you and your mom in the cars!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who is still stuck on Day 2! :rotfl:

Keep 'em coming!

Hmmmm, how did I not subscribe to your TR??? Well, it's remedied now. All caught up. I love the image of you singing with your forest friends at the airport.

OMG, girl. I just got back from seeing Toy Story 3. I literally sobbed for majority of the movie. Sobbed. I was doing my best to keep quiet because I didn't want to annoy everyone in the theater, but you could still hear me anyway. And my friends were embarassed, but I didn't care. Toy Story 3 induces crying-fests in people like me who are still holding onto their childhood for dear life.

While I didn't cry cry...I did tear up a lot in the furnace scene. It was an incredible movie, and incredibly emotional as well.

Oh gosh, as far as Toy Story 3 is concerned, I was riveted. By a movie about toys that come to life, yes. I was truly moved. I see a million movies and I have not enjoyed a film that much in ages. I was so in love with every second of it. The fact that I was around Andy's age when the first 2 films were released and I am around his age in the new film just made it hit close to home ten times more than it would have otherwise. Kara (MarieTheCat24 SHOUTOUT!) pointed out on her PTR how brilliant it was that they waited until Andy's generation grew up with him and I can not stress enough how much I agree with that. I thought it had the perfect amount of funny silliness (can you say Buzz en espanol?) and serious, moving storytelling that just felt so familiar and yet new and exciting. I really can not stress how much I loved it. If anyone hasn't seen it yet, I really urge you to go.

Aww! Well, my mom is not at all into putting pics on the internet and stuff so out of respect for her I am not including pics of us! She does not think it is safe. I've had Facebook, myspace, etc so I don't care, but she does have a point - one of my friends got stalked by some creep cause of the internet, he ended up using her Twitter page to find her so we're all kinda shaken up by that still! Everything ended up OK though, but I still understand where Mom is coming from. :goodvibes

Hey! I need to catch up with yours!!!!

And yeah, those forest animals just don't leave me alone while i'm at WDW!

I agree with you agreeing with Kara. Catch all that? :rotfl: It was great that they waited for our age group to grow up and be Andy's age in TS3. It so hit home 100 times more.
