The MCLOVINS Hit the World - HARD!!!!! *COMPLETED*

Anyway, as I've told you a million times already, OH MY GOD YOU'RE GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!! ASDJSADJSHFSASSDSSSDAFJK!!!!! YAY!!!!!!! I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!!!!!! YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE THE BEST TIME EVER!!! :dance3:

Also, please send me samples from the F&W festival. Thanks. :upsidedow

LIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH MY GAWD!!!!!!!!11 *HUG*

I've missed you SOOOO MUCH! I'm still on Day 4 of MY trip, so I have no doubt it'll take me more than a year to complete it...

OH MY GOSH, it's so good to have you back!!!

Can't wait to hear about your last 3 days filled with wonderful awesomeness.

I've only ever been to WDW and haven't developed different modes yet. I'm always just in the "HOLY CRAP I'M IN DISNEYWORLD AND IT'S SO AWESOME" mode.

So happy to have you back!!!!!!!!!!!!! And SOOO happy that you're for sure able to go back in the Fall!

How the heck have you been girl?

I've missed you too, Yuki! I'm reminded of you every day because of the adorable Stitch keychain you gave me that's hanging on my desk. :stitch::stitch2: I can't wait to catch up on your TR especially, it is one of my favorites.

I've been really good actually. A lot has happened since I was last here, good and bad! I won't get into it all, but I had an awesome 21st birthday (more like 12 birthdays) that made me be OFFICIALLY partied out. After I found out I couldn't go to Disney in May like I wanted to I was just not up for being on the DIS. Usually being here helps me miss Disney less, but I just wanted to put Disney out of my mind for awhile cause it was really making me sad. I think I always need to be either at Disney World or planning a trip to Disney World, anything else just doesn't look good on me. BUT WHO CARES!!! Cause I'm planning our fall trip now and it's all good. How have YOU been?

Your "Lalalalala"s reminded me of the Daria theme song which I am now singing. Loudly. I've got to be direeeeect. Lalala. If I'm wrong, please correeeeect. Lalala. You're standing on my neeeeck....

Thanks. :upsidedow

Hahahaha I was trying to create the illusion that I was wandering around aimlessly and happened to stumble upon the DIS during my "lalalalas", kind of like Pee Wee Herman. But Daria works too, obviously!

Even though we have both freaked out over each other's trips repeatedly on Tumblr, I still feel the need to be like HOLY CRAP KARA. YOU'RE GOING TO DISNEY WORLD. FOR YOUR 21ST BIRTHDAY. IN LESS THAN ONE MONTH!!!!!!!!!!!!! :rotfl2: I used that emoticon because I'm sure you will be rolling on the floor laughing at some point. Or you know, constantly. There needs to be a "Rolling on the concrete on Main Street" emoticon, tbh.

I am seriously bringing a large tupperware container and shoving basically every food served at the F&W festival inside so that I can bring it home, so just come over and we'll stuff ourselves silly, ok?

Dear Entire WORLD,

Breaking news!!!!

I NOW HAVE A TICKER!!!!!!!

Woooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 4 months, 3 weeks. Seems like forever, but I know it will speed by. It's too early for me to make a PTR, but I just wanted to include some pre-trip updates for our upcoming Extravaganza here!

~I made our first ADR last night at OHANA!!!! I have been wanting to try Ohana for ages. We actually had an ADR for it on our 2006 trip and didn't make it, NO IDEA WHY. On my last 2 trips, they were booked solid. This time, we're IN baybeee!!!

~I had a decent fight with my dad about the trip today. He is in the hotel business and can get us an employee rate at any Hilton, DoubleTree, or Holiday Inn hotel. Which, trust me, is a huge blessing I appreciate so much when I travel anywhere but Disney World. At Disney, I have to stay on property. No question. It is not up for discussion. Everything else can change but I must stay on property. My dad told me I am young, don't know any better, and don't know what I'm talking about, and oh the money I'd save, and so on. I tried to explain to him how staying off property is not the same, staying on property means so much to me, I want the extra magic hours, and it's worth the money. I don't think he heard me. There's just no talking to him. He even offered to pay for the entire trip if I stayed off property at the Hilton. I have to admit, a free trip is tempting, but WHY. Why would I take someone else's money to have someone else's idea of a vacation when I could use mine to do what I want? I think he's one of those parents who is just so obsessed with their kid's life that they'll go to great lengths because they think they know what's best. I know he's just trying to help and wants me to save my money, but I'm 21 years old, ok? I've been to Disney World 8 times, I know what I'm doing by now. I work hard for my money and I wouldn't just throw it away on an expensive hotel if it wasn't 1000% worth the price. It's not like I'm forking over $400+ a night for the Poly or something, either (which even if I was IT WOULD BE WORTH IT) - my favorite resort is Pop and that's where I wanna stay! I'm looking at maybe renting some DVC points for some days, but even that isn't very expensive! In my eyes, it's all worth it. All of it. I *finally* got it through his head that an off-property stay just wasn't going to happen and I FINALLY got a "Okay fine, do whatever you want!" So yeah.. The point of this story is that I am a Free Bish, baby.

Whew. Glad that's over.

So yeah I HAVE A TICKER NOW!!!!! IT'S ALL HAPPENING!!!!!!!!

Another update coming today or tomorrow!

:rotfl: I figured you were going for that, but my one-track television mind latched right onto Daria.

Oh, I will most definitely be rolling on the floor laughing at some point. Probably like 5 minutes into the trip. LOL. A "Rolling on the concrete on Main Street" emoticon sounds fab. Should we make ROTCOMS the new ROFL?

Wonderful. I will be waiting for you when you get back then. :thumbsup2

I'm sorry that your dad just doesn't understand that magicalness that is staying at a Disney resort. Yes, staying off-site can be cheaper, but cheaper isn't always better. I mean, I'd stay off-site if I had to, but the Disney resorts have become such a part of the whole WDW vacation experience to me that I'd feel like something's missing if I didn't stay at one.

IT IS RIDICULOUS HOW HAPPY I AM FOR SOMEONE ON THE INTERNET BUT OH MY GOSH CONGRATS.

I'm still trying to convince my mom to go during October, but she keeps having to bring logic and common sense into the conversation, like about how these things cost money. Clearly she doesn't understand me.

Giiirl I've missed seeing your updates! I can't wait to see the rest of the trip, though. You have a way of writing about Disney that makes me want to go RIGHT NOW RIGHT THIS SECOND

Also fyi I think I was a total creep on Tumblr a while back and added you, hahah. I'm submarinefloats~

hahahaha omg ROTCOMS is pretty genius. It sounds like romcoms, only with ROT at the beginning which sounds..... pretty gross. Like it's a comedy about zombies. They're rotting! You'll laugh so hard your face will melt off! I should really become a screenwriter.

Exactly! It's funny b/c at the Hilton or DoubleTree we'd pay a lot less cause of the employee rate and have bigger rooms than at the Pop, but it doesn't matter (especially b/c it's just my mom and I going, it's not like we need infinite space). Like when Ross can't choose between Rachel and Julie on Friends so he makes a list of "Cons" about each girl and Rachel has a bunch but none of them matter, because on Julie's list it says "She's not Rachel." Bingo!!!!!! Disney's Pop Century Resort is my soulmate, is what I am saying.

Hey!!! Thank you so much!! I totally understand, I get so excited following along with people's trip countdowns and stuff on here!

Ugh! I think Will Smith said it best: Parents Just Don't Understand. Lame!

Aw, thanks! I can't wait to post the rest.

I just followed you back :)

Day 7, Part 2 In Which The Sprouse Twins Confuse Me (Even More Than Usual)

When we last left off, my mom and I were running around the Yacht & Beach Club like maniacs in search of breakfast. It didn't work out.

Usually when I run around like a maniac, I ALWAYS get utterly fantastic results.

So that was weird.

We were disappointed and stressed and sweating, but not totally deflated. I mean, it's Disney World. Someone would have to literally kill me to even slightly bum me out for like a second. And even then, i'd be like, "Well, at least I died happy at my favorite place. Not a bad way to go."

As you can see, my obsession with Disney World is quite sick.

But we'll deal with my issues later! Enough about me - more about food!

We were starving at this point. I thought about going back to MGM to use some Toy Story Mania fastpasses we had picked up earlier and just grabbing something there, but let's be real here: unless you go to the Brown Derby, if you want REALLY good food, it's not happenin' at MGM. Or Disney's Hollywood Studios. Whatever the kids are calling it these days, it sadly doesn't have a Le Cellier.

So we went to Wolfgang Puck Express.

Yes, again.

For the third time this trip. THREE TIMES!!!

Here's the thing about eating at Disney. I agonize over our ADRs every single trip. It is a constant tug of war between places we love and must visit again VS new places we want to try. There are never enough days to do it all. And there never will be. Because of this, I would NEVER schedule the same restaurant three times in one trip. And I didn't, but we just kept ending up at WPE because it is That. Freaking Good.

*music swells* If you could see it, then you'd understand... oh when you see it, yeah you'll understand....

Yeah, I actually just quoted a Coldplay song. Let's not even talk about it.

Instead, I shall remind you of our favorite dishes (I already posted these pictures but let's be honest, this is the kind of thing that calls for multiple viewings)

4707194155_dc40dae01d_b.jpg

Ok, so that's the Four Cheese Pesto Pizza and I must add a WARNING to go along with it!!! There are many Wolfgang Puck Express restaurants at airports throughout America. BUT DO NOT BE FOOLED!!! Because they may not exhibit the same life changing food as the WPE at Downtown Disney. I have only been to the one at the Indianapolis airport, though, so I don't know if it was just THEM or what, but I got the Four Cheese Pesto Pizza and it SUCKED!!! Really! I was shocked because, as I have said many times, the pizza and all the food at the Disney WPE is earth shatteringly good. So my point is, if you have crappy food at a different WPE, you still MUST visit the Disney World one for the REAL deliciousness!

4707194009_4860e510f0_b.jpg

And the mac & cheese. It is the best you will ever have.

Getting to Downtown Disney from the Beach Club was a way bigger predicament than you'd ever think, which is reason #983204982390482 why there is no chance of us doing this without a rent-a-car again. But anyway!!!! We chowed down and then headed for a lil' break at the resort before tackling the World Showcase.

I tweeted:
Why are the Sprouse twins going to school on a cruise ship on this show? This is complex. 4:12 PM Apr 17th via txt

I still don't know.

Soooo off to Epcot we went! The plan was to do some major World Showcasing, but of course first we had to go check on our Frogfish friend.

YES, again.

Basically, if Disney World was just The Seas With Nemo and Friends, Wolfgang Puck Express, and Le Cellier... we would still go just as much.

If not more.

You may remember him (if you don't, you're a FOOL!!!! HE IS THE BEST!!!) from earlier in the report.

4762498459_579914c7ff_b.jpg

Did you ever know that you're my hero? You're everything I wish I could be. I can fly higher than an eagle, you are the wind beneath my wings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

May or may not have sang that to him. OurFrogfishFriend. I just love him.

4762499099_70d4f86a66_b.jpg

He's the best, obviously, but we pulled ourselves away from him long enough to check out some of the other creatures too, yes AGAIN, because we are obsessed with animals in general and my mom wanted to be a marine biologist as a child so she was asking the CMs like 4,000 questions...yes, again. This is just how we do Disney.

I thought this starfish looked kind of menacing hidden under the sand like that:

5423210501_066a566d6b_z.jpg

I am kind of fascinated by sea urchins, mostly because I fear them. I mean they just hang out, minding their own business and yet they can actually freaking kill you if you step on them. Which is super cool because it gives off this awesome DON'T MESS WITH ME vibe but kind of in a passive agressive way. Like dude, I'm not gonna swim up all RAHHHH and eat you while you're swimming or anything, but if you step on me I'm gonna have to mess you up a little so STEP BACK. The other crazy thing is that people EAT THEM!?!??! I know they eat anything/everything in various parts of the world, and excuse my tiny American brain, but EW, dude. Ew.

Anyway I took this video of it just because the way it moves freaks me out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JHVp5V0p-3Q

We kept saying we were going to check out the upstairs at the Seas later on in the trip, and sadly it was getting pretty late in our trip, so upstairs we went!

There is not a lot of action up there compared to downstairs, mostly because of the lack of talking sea turtles and clamshells you can fit humans into, but you can stand and watch dolphins for as long as you want so that's pretty cool. Also, I know they have presentations up there from time to time, so I really hope to catch one of them one of these days.

I took this video of the dolphins just because they are SO INSANELY CUTE: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pFMQAB54Po8

I love when they swim belly up like that. They just look so happy. I hope they really are, I hate to see animals in captivity. But as I've said before, I trust Disney to take good care of them.

They also have giant sting rays in there:
5423210803_f1824540ce_b.jpg

The size of that thing is both awesome and horrifying.

I kept trying to spot Hidden Mickeys in all the coral/sea life in there but I don't think there are any...

5423814560_2cc8e4c931_b.jpg

About 16 hours later, we finally were able to pry ourselves out of The Seas to start the World Showcasing.

As you walked from Future World to World Showcase, there was a beautiful Disney Oceans display:

Because of the Flower & Garden Festival, they had these awesome kiosks set up around WS that sold awesome gardening supplies. I don't even garden, but I wanted to buy like everything, especially this awesome flower hose thingy:

Our first stop was Mexico.

I have to say this is one of my favorite pavilions because I love that most of it is inside to create the evening effect. It’s just so beautiful inside, which you can’t see because my camera sucks at taking pictures in the dark, but you know what I mean if you've been in there.

See?

Google is my friend!

It rocks not just because it's so pretty, but because of the boat ride, the entire place smells like Disney water and that is awesome.

5423209385_c88420d7a3_b.jpg

I love these painted carvings but I never, ever buy them! The ones I want are always $50 or more. One of these days I just have to suck it up and buy one!

I’m fascinated by a “holiday” they have in Mexico that you can learn about at this pavilion called The Day of the Dead. For those who don’t know, this day (actually two days) is recognized as a national holiday where family and friends gather for parties honoring the loved ones they have lost. It’s not a sad day, it’s a true celebration and considered to be one of the most enjoyable events of the year. I don’t want to get too serious/personal here, but in our family we have lost *a lot* of people and I’ve been to too many funerals/wakes to count, and this whole Day of the Dead concept makes a lot more sense to me than everyone standing around depressed. Of course you are going to be devastated when you lose someone, but I think we should celebrate their lives more, and I just think it's so cool that Mexico has an entire holiday dedicated to doing just that.

At my grandfather’s wake a few years ago, two of my uncles, me, and 3 of my cousins went into a back room and just told stories about him. We laughed so hard back there that someone had to come in and tell us to quiet down because we could be heard in the main viewing room. Maybe I’m wrong, but I think that’s the way it should be, which is why I am fascinated by the Day of the Dead.

5423816704_5bbe128198_b.jpg

The skeleton is the symbol of The Day of the Dead, kind of like Santa on Christmas LOL. I’m really into skeletons/skulls because frankly… that’s what we all REALLY look like. All of us! Who cares about black, white, fat, skinny… this is us.

Isn’t that freaky? I really want to buy one of those… or all of them. I also like that they appear to be dressed as if they're performing in a Liza Minelli drag show later.

During our fall trip we will actually BE at WDW on both days that are considered The Day of the Dead (November 1 & 2) so I wonder if they will be doing anything special at the pavilion. Anyone know?

So, that was kind of a long Day of the Dead tangent... you're welcome! Next, we wenton the boat ride which I love. I know it’s just a less cool, Mexican version of It’s A Small World but I don’t care. I’m never rushing through the gates to ride this thing but I go whenever I’m looking around the pavilion. I also really want to eat in the restaurant here even though I’m not a huge fan of Mexican food, it's just SO PRETTY and I do enjoy tacos quite a bit. Maybe I will book an ADR...hmm...*checks menu*...HOLY CRAP! When did this place get so expensive? The La Hacienda sounds pretty awesome though...La Hacienda - Mixed grill offering flank steak, chicken al pastor, chorizo and vegetables, served with beans and fresh salsas $49.95...$50 for two people isn't bad...Less than Ohana or the buffets...why do I have such an urge to do 1900 Park Fare again...it wasn't too great last time...but it's Disney so I'm instantly nostalgic for it anyway...I want to go back to the Crystal Palace too...haven't had the breakfast in years but it's sooo good and the dinner seems amazing too...I really want to eat in Mexico though...in addition to everything else...I should get a side job dedicated to making money for Disney food alone...hmm...I will think about it!

There you go, an insight into my restaurant choosing techniques!

So ANYWAY, we spent a lot of time looking at all the stuff for sale and I remember being so torn between wanting to buy like 18 different things that I just ended up not getting anything! Next trip, I want to buy one small thing from every pavillion and display it in my house as my own private World Showcase. How awesome does that sound?!!

There was a guy blowing glass in one of the shops which is always cool to watch.

5423815180_d45ea17981_b.jpg

I mean imagine if you met someone and asked what they did and they were all, “I blow glass at Disney World.” Would your top just fly off or is that only me? Seriously.

These were so pretty, I especially love the green alien from Toy Story with his arms all open like HAAAAAAAAAAAAY:

5423211419_800812769a_b.jpg

They also had AWESOME tiaras for sale:

5423211105_8fd4b612c7_b.jpg

Okay so, notice that these are not just normal tiaras, they are specific to Disney Princesses. Second down on the left, that's Jasmine - see the lamp? Right next to that is Ariel, see the clam shell? Under Ariel is Cinderella with her carriage, under that one is a pink Mickey head, and the one under that is Snow White with the apple. I WANTED TO BUY THEM ALL. In general, I feel I need to start wearing tiaras more often, don't you?

NORVAY! and more world traveling.....

YAY! A "real" update! It's been so long. MY LIFE HAS SUCKED WITHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUT YOOOOOOOOUR UPDATES.

Mmmmm. WPE looks delicious. I think I've said that, like, every single time you've mentioned it, but it does. Pizza and Mac&Cheese are pretty much the greatest foods ever, so I really need to get my butt over there sometime soon. I'm sure my stomach will be thanking me for years to come.

I cannot wrap my head around The Suite Life on Deck. I mean, why? Just why? :confused3 Not gonna lie, I watch Wizards of Waverly Place every now and again because Selena Gomez seems sweet and that David Henrie is quite attractive, but every time I see a commercial for the Suite Life, I'm like, how do kids watch this? School on a cruise ship? Is that even a thing? Plus, when did the Sprouse twins get so old? They make me feel like a fossil. I don't like feeling like a fossil.

AH! The frogfish! I cannot wait to go visit him in a few weeks. I'll make sure to tell him that you say "Hello!" :thumbsup2

Sea urchins creep me out. I don't like it when living things are shaped like plastic dog toys.

DOLPHINS! Some days I really question my decision not to become a dolphin trainer. I'm pretty sure I'd be perfectly content spending the rest of my life in a wet suit with my dolphin BFFs.

They just look so happy. I hope they really are, I hate to see animals in captivity. But as I've said before, I trust Disney to take good care of them.
My biggest fear is that captive animals don't have enough room to move around and, well, be animals. I think Disney does a really good job providing their animals with plenty of space, though. Their tanks/cages/exhibits never seem crowded and they have places they can go to get out of the public eye. Some zoos don't seem to care all that much about space and that makes me sad.

That flower hose thingy is amazing. When Katie and I were younger, we used to have this sprinkler called The Crazy Daisy and it looked a lot like that. Except it would flop wildly in different directions instead of watering one specific area. We had a lot of fun with that thing...

I love the Mexico pavilion. I could spend hours just hanging around in there looking at all of the merchandise, smelling the Disney water smell, trying on 98987593933 sombreros, speaking Spanish, and eating churros.

Ah! El Dia de los Muertos! We had AMAZING Dia de los Muertos parties every year in Spanish class. The food was delish. Do you remember the episode of Lizzie McGuire when Miranda and her parents bring all sorts of Day of the Dead stuff to their school Halloween party and they use it to scare Kate as payback after she made Lizzie dress up as a clown? So good.

Those tiaras are so cool! I love the Jasmine one. If only the magic lamp actually came with a genie...That would pretty much make it the most awesome tiara ever in the history of tiaras. And you're right, I definitely need to start wearing a tiara more often. princess:

WOOT WOOT -- LIA'S BACK!!

Ok, so I did not even realize how much I missed your updates until I read your most recent update and was like, "Man, I really missed Lia's trippie!"

First, EXCITEMENT! So cool that you've got a new trip coming up. Do you think you'll go to MNSSHP??

Second, I was DED laughing over this last update. So good.

Basically, if Disney World was just The Seas With Nemo and Friends, Wolfgang Puck Express, and Le Cellier... we would still go just as much.

If not more.

That is one gorgeous dolphin/ocean flower display! Also I was loved your description of the silent scorn of those tiny bad boys of the sea, sea urchins. (I was looking for an "intimidation" smiley and that was the best I could find, lol)

Because of the Flower & Garden Festival, they had these awesome kiosks set up around WS that sold awesome gardening supplies. I don't even garden, but I wanted to buy like everything

DITTO. Disney just does this to one. Like I walk into the emporium and think "I WANT IT ALL!" But really if I had it all I would be like "What am I going to do with all this junk?" But still...;)

In general, I feel I need to start wearing tiaras more often, don't you?

More-often-tiara-wearing is always a good idea. princess:

Can't wait for NORVAY!

And you're right, I definitely need to start wearing a tiara more often. princess:

Yay!! It's good to be back and it's awesome to have your long replies coming in again. Sometimes I think what we write to each other is longer than our actual updates LOL.

PLEASE go to WPE. Please.

I haven't watched the Disney Channel in YEARS outside of at WDW and stuff I catch when my little cousins are watching, and I totally thought I was going to be one of those people who is like "I don't care if it's for kids, I love me some Sprouse Twins!!" but I just don't...care. If they still played That's So Raven, So Weird, Boy Meets World, Growing Pains, and of course Lizzie McGuire, I would watch all the time, though. Ah well, things change, time moves on, and I watch that stuff on DVD anyway.

Please take at least 50 pictures of the Frogfish and compose a full report of the state of his life and overall well being. Thanks!

Omg. My mom and I took my little cousin to a carnival the other night and they had this random shark exhibit with what were either baby sharks or just grown up small ones, but oh my god they kept like 5 of them in this teeny little thing and my mom was like fuming, it was sooo sad. I don't know how people sleep at night.

I had one of those awesome floppy sprinklers!!! So fun!!

YES I remember that episode! All Lizzie episodes are burned into my brain forever. Plus the movie. Which still makes me cry. LOL.

So good.

That is one gorgeous dolphin/ocean flower display! Also I was loved your description of the silent scorn of those tiny bad boys of the sea, sea urchins. (I was looking for an "intimidation" smiley and that was the best I could find, lol)

DITTO. Disney just does this to one. Like I walk into the emporium and think "I WANT IT ALL!" But really if I had it all I would be like "What am I going to do with all this junk?" But still...;)

More-often-tiara-wearing is always a good idea. princess:

Can't wait for NORVAY!

Yay! Thanks! Glad to be back! I've had your TR open catching up on your updates for a few days, so expect a reply soon! Yours is one of my favs. :thumbsup2

We are definitely going to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. I've wanted to go for AGES, seriously every fall since I was like 14 I have tried to make it happen. I can't believe it FINALLY will!

Yeah, the same thing happens to me in the Emporium and basically any Disney store. When I get a house of my own I want a Disney Room, like how people with kids have playrooms. I also want my kitchen and bathroom to be Disney themed though, so I guess it will be more like a Disney House.

Thanks for reading, guys! :3dglasses

Ok Lia, you ready to read ANOTHER long update?

Srsly....between you and Kara, you guys should totally write a book. It will be filled with awesomeness and I shall buy at least 20 copies. Then force all my friends to buy one.

Man....I REALLY regret not eating at WPE on my trip. We saw the super long lines and were just SO hungry, so always ended up at the Earl. Which is also awesome, but I desperately want to eat that pizza. I love pesto.

Do you go through your long tweet history to find these things? Also, my bbf is ALL OVER Suite Life on Deck. I think Breaker High was better.

I just realized....you posted about our frogfish friend earlier in THIS TR....which means....you started this WAY BEFORE I left for Disney last year in Aug! Oh my gosh...

But yeah, I also spent a long time just watching him and telling people to watch him and going "Ooh! Ooh! It's swimming! Omg, look at it go!" or "Look! Look at that tongue thingy on his forehead! It's just flicking!"

I find the underside of a starfish to be quite creepy...Gives me the willies.

Hm....I almost want to say the Chinese eat sea urchins, but I think we eat another kind?

I LOVE the upstairs mostly because there are ledges for me to sit down and just watch the dolphins. I love those two like my children. They're just so sweet and playful! I also like that it's quieter up there for when I wanna take a rest. There are SO many obvious big HMS on the tank floors, but I think I was trying to find them elsewhere too. We had the HM book too.

I love that dolphin topiary. Just so beautiful. I don't think I'll ever go during F&G though. I know all those flowers attract bugs and......I can't deal with that. That butterfly conservatory would just creep me out. I don't like that you have to pass through it to get to the fairies!

Wow, what a cool flower hose! Is it meant for gardens or showers...? Probably gardens, but I wouldn't mind that thing in my shower.

Yeah, I think Mexico is definitely one of my favourite pavilions too. Instead of just a regular store like most of the other pavs, their merch is sold in a night-market theme and I love it! I remember how AWED I was the first time I went in. It was my first WS pavilion and it just FLOORED me. I tried hard to take a good picture, but I just ended up filming the place.

My favourite part is the background in the distance that has the glowing volcano. I just CAN'T GET how they make it look so far when it's so close! I love the part of the ride where you can see into the restaurant.

Yeah, I have a thing for skulls too, but that's cause I love pirates. Are you there on Nov 3rd too? That's my birthday! Have a drink for me please! Well, if you don't mind going into Epcot two days in a row cause I OWN that Grand Marnier slush. If not, I'll be happy if you ate a Mickey ice cream bar in my honour <3

I also really love their idea of Day of the Dead and celebrating the deads' lives instead of our loss. A group on Dragon's Den (Canadian ver. of Shark Tank) and they were trying to get funding for a funeral business that celebrated the deceased lives. Unfortunately, they weren't considered a good investment.

Buying something small from every pav sounds like a GREAT IDEA!! You should have a special case just for WS stuff. In Canada, I recommend the maple syrup pops in the shape of maple syrup. You can use one for display and enjoy the rest! I love those things....nomnom.

I also really like the glassblower! And yes, it would TOTALLY BLOW MY MIND. I mean, just HEARING that someone works at Disney makes my jaw drop and then the questioning starts. On our trip, we saw the same glassblower in 3 different locations. Epcot, MK, and DtD

Awww, those little glass figurines are so cute! I totally want some. Only $35 too.

I LOVE LOVE LOOOOVE those tiaras. I don't even remember seeing them but I want them all now. I also love their they're themed to the princesses, but I would want the Star one on the bottom right cause stars are my thing.

BTW, on my birthday last year, because I had work and didn't have anything special planned, I bought a dollar store tiara and a birthday button and wore that to work! It definitely made the day better. My bbf wears a little tiara hair comb thingy that I got her at the Disney store, quite often.

Yay an update!! You're making me want to try WPE when I go in Oct. I'm torn between that and Pollo Campero. Though really I'll probably do both, lol. Can't wait to hear about Norway!

Hey Yuki!! Wooo I love long replies! haha Kara and I will probably write several books together when all is said and done. At least 3 of them will be some variation on the title "How To Be Awesome". You can write the Foreward. Sound good? (P.S., Kara, we should totally write a point/counterpoint book about Damon and Stefan. I'll be like 'Damon may be abusive and violent, but he's probably really good in the sack.' and you can be like 'Not only is Stefan insanely hot, he'll most likely never murder your brother.' These books will sell like wildfire.)

I'm lucky that I get to know in April/October when the lines are pretty much nonexistent. We've never waited at WPE! I totally would, though. It would be 100% worth the wait.

I don't go through my tweet history - I have all my tweets from Disney saved in a word document. If you want to navigate through your tweet history easily, though, TwimeMachine.com is great. It has a lot of glitches though, unfortunately.

I never saw Breaker High but I'm sure it was better, anything that involves Ryan Gosling is automatically better than anything that doesn't.

Yeah, I started this TR in April 2010! I warned you all it would be LONG!

Oddly, we had no bad bug experiences while at Disney! They probably have some magic pixie spray that wards off all the bugs.

It's meant for the garden, but I would totally use it as a shower too LOL!

Yes, we will be there on Nov 3rd as well! I will definitely have a drink/Mickey Bar in honor of you! And, b/c of the Food & Wine Festival, we'll be at Epcot almost every single day. Last time I went during F&W, I was at Epcot probably 80% of the time.

Sad that the business couldn't find funding! You said it's the Canadian version of Shark Tank, but I have no idea what that is either lol. So fill me in!

Aww, I love that you did that on your birthday! My friend wore a 21st birthday tiara for her bday and everyone bought her drinks, it was so awesome.

Yay an update!! You're making me want to try WPE when I go in Oct. I'm torn between that and Pollo Campero. Though really I'll probably do both, lol. Can't wait to hear about Norway!

Heyyy hows it goin! And oh oh, go to WPE! You must! I want all my readers to go and experience the awesomeness!

thanks for reading guys! :hippie:

I've got it! "How to be Awesome", "Awesome: How to be it" and "Be Awesome: A How To"

Yes, that is how much of a life I do not have. :rolleyes1

Dear Lia and Kara,
Please plan the rest of my Disney trips for me. I could then be assured of a thorough trip full of fun and hilarity. And 30 Rock.

Sincerely,
Jenn

I can totally relate to really bad WPE food...we had some at the Atlanta airport on our way back from Disney this year. Blech. And I've never eaten at WPE at Disney, but definitely want to now that I have seen your pics.

Oh and we also saw and took pics of Frogfish...I immediately thought of you and your TR. I agree that he is very cool, but my kids were not impressed. Strange.

HAHA actually, I think you are a genius!!

hahaha ANYTIME!!!

Yeah, I don't know what the deal is with WPE! It's really disappointing. Oh well, at least I can still have the flawless deliciousness of the one at Disney.

Aww!! Kids are so unpredictable... my cousin (age 7) is OBSESSED with animals, bugs, nature, etc... we took her to the Museum of Natural History... could not have been more disinterested! Her sister, however, who is usually not into all that stuff, was fascinated!

This is an excellent idea. I have a feeling that no matter how many intelligent arguments we attempt to make, we'd wind up being all "Well, Damon's hotter!" "No, Stefan's hotter!" "Damon!" "Stefan!" "Damon!" "Stefan!" until we reach a point where the only logical conclusion is a threesome. We'd be atop the NYT's Best Sellers list in no time. :thumbsup2

Woo! I'm glad my trip report has gotten to a place where threesomes are brought up. Very proud. You're right, that IS the only logical conclusion though. I can't think of anything more enjoyable!

P.S. did you watch PLL? I haven't had time yet, but I'm dying to! I saw that "Ezra Fitz" was trending and I was all like YAY, FITZY! Ezria! Woooo inappropriate relationships!!!!!
