2. Ryan and Marissa are my ULTIMATE couple/OTP/ship/whatever. Even more than Luke and Lorelai. It's just so tragic. I think that the OC had the staying power to still be on today, they just ruined it so much. I don't see how those writers could write the perfection that was Season 1, near perfection that was Season 2... and then go into the weirdness. Like, I still love S3 and S4, but it's like my beloved characters were plopped onto this other show or something. Once S4 came along, it wasn't the same show to me. I still loved it, but in a different way. I haven't re-watched those episodes in awhile, and i'm kind of wondering what i'll think now since they're coming up soon. You're right, it was not supposed to end how it did. I loved Seth and Summer getting married but then that moment where Ryan and Taylor look at each other like they're next. Oh my God no. Not that I can imagine Ryan with ANYONE besides Marissa, but come on. Ryan and Taylor are not married. No.

5. Seriously, don't ever give up on that dream. I love that you say you'll live in a cardboard box in NYC b/c not only will you probably have to, but that's part of what I say all the time when i'm talking about my sad, desperate, need to be on camera self: I'd rather be on the streets of NYC begging for change than in a sprawling mansion out in Kansas. Ya feel me? Anyway I may only be 20 but I'm not ready to give up. Not just yet. And you can't either!

Oh, I totally agree that the OC could have gone on a lot longer than it did, but once they killed Marissa, everything changed. Season 4 was a whole different show. And while it had it's moments, it wasn't the show I fell in love with in Seasons 1 and 2. I mean, Season 1 as a whole, is pretty much the best season of television ever created. And Ryan and Taylor...just no.

Regarding not giving up, I think that's why I love Disney so much. It's cheesy, but Disney has kinda given me the confidence that everything will work out in the end. Sure, not everything is going to be easy. I'll probably have to scrub an evil stepmother's floors for a while. But when I finally do get my happily ever after, all of the hard work and suffering will have been worth it.

I am DYING LAUGHING at that picture of Ben Savage with the Jersey Shore cast. DYING. I remember seeing a picture of Ben with Kris Allen a few months ago. I love that so many celebs want to take pictures with Cory Matthews!

I remember the first time I rode ToT. The entire atmosphere just made me giddy. One thing (of many) that I love about Disney is how they do not skimp on details. Even the footage of Rod Serling was perfectly dubbed.

When I was there in 07 with my family, then DS7 rode on RnR, but would not ride ToT. It was weird, but we didn't push him at all. I think I was more nervous for him on RnR than he was at all.

One thing I learned in the media studies class is that if the show is getting less than stellar ratings, a pregnancy happens. If you study where ratings start to drop and when one of the characters gets pregnant, they're almost directly related. Pretty cool, huh?

Yes, I agree. Giddy is the perfect word. I like that you didn't push your son to ride. That bothers me. I always strongly encourage my (adult) friends to ride, but there are so many parts of it that would completely terrorize a child. I hate when parents force them to ride.

I remember watching a livestream from the last show and Kris wearing Adam's "tour jacket" pretty much gave me a coronary. I was just flailing around and making weird sounds. IT WAS TOO ADORABLE. I don't know, back then when I was such a huge fan.. they were popular I was like 8-12 years old and I didn't notice when people were gay then so I can't remember. But I did read Lance's book, and he said that he gets asked all the time if he had a crush on any of the *NSYNC guys and he said that he never did because they all lived in such close quarters and just became truly like family. But, who knows!

That stuff MADE my night every single night. I was so obsessed with Adam at the time (Still adore him, but that was in the middle of like Adam mania) that like as soon as he'd appear on stage i'd scream. It made me feel like being 12 again, it was so fun.

They are extremely juicy. The thing that did it for me was, and I'm sure this footage is on youtube... there was this red carpet after the Idol finale last year when Kris won, and like, one of them was already being interviewed, Adam I think... and then Kris comes RUNNING over to him and they hugged for the LONGEST time and like, kept pulling back and then hugging again and just holding each other and grinning ear to ear. I was like, wow. Also, Adam has kissed Kris on the head in public so many times I can't even count. And like, no matter how gay friendly a straight guy is, I rarely come across one who is fine with a guy just kissing him randomly. You know? Whatever. I can't believe I'm discussing Kradam on my freaking trip report but this is my life.

It made me feel a little less insane.

One of my favorite memories was the Arkansas tour stop, beause I was actually in Florida at the time. We had just left Disney and were at my grandma's house and I was sad because, well, leaving WDW makes me sad. I remember parking myself infront of the computer for HOURS listening to the cellcast and then CRYING MY EYES OUT when Kris came on. It was so emotional. I felt like a crazy tween at a Jonas Brothers concert. I was a mess.

God, I can't believe that it's been almost a year since then. Seriously, where has the time gone? I wonder if anyone recorded those cellcasts....I'm being all nostalgic and I REALLY want to listen to one. Sure, I could just go watch videos on youtube, but it's not the same. I've gotta listen to the fuzzy, static-y version.

It killlllllled me.

LOL! I absolutely adore their friendship. I really had no idea how close they were until the last 2 weeks or so of Idol. So even though I was absolutely devastated when Adam lost I was ok with the fact he lost to his sweetheart roomie instead of someone like Danny Gokey, for example!

OMG. NO WAY!!! I DON'T EVEN. You crazy kids kept me thoroughly entertained last summer. All of the amazing manips, and the jokes, and the (completely out of love) mocking of Adam's poetry, AND THE MEAN GIRLS REFERENCES. I think those were my favorites because Mean Girls is THE GREATEST MOVIE EVER MADE.

LOL! I absolutely adore their friendship. I really had no idea how close they were until the last 2 weeks or so of Idol. So even though I was absolutely devastated when Adam lost I was ok with the fact he lost to his sweetheart roomie instead of someone like Danny Gokey, for example!

LOL on ONTD_AI sometimes we would literally call Danny Gokey AndNoneForDannyGokeyBye because of Mean Girls. Poor guy can't catch a break.

Hi, Lia! LOVING your TR. I came over here after seeing you in Tinkgurl's TR and Kara's PTR, and I just love your writing style! You sound like such a blast to be around. I love reading about your misadventures with your mom. CBR is probably my favorite mod so I was so excited to read about your stay there. And you dedicated an entire post to Sci-Fi and its onion rings and milkshakes. You are right. THEY ARE AWESOME!!!!

Also, after reading about both Tink's experience and yours, I am going to force my mom and aunt to go to rope drop at MK on our next girls only trip. It sounds so magical!!!

I feel the same way about Disney. I've written about this before, but I just find it to be the most inspiring thing ever that Walt was just some kid who drew pictures of mice and now...........hello. It's just too amazing, like, if you really go for it, it CAN happen.

Also, I LOVE all of the Classic Nick and other TV talk that has been sprinkled in. I've just recently started watching Friends, but I have ALWAYS loved Gilmore Girls and Boy Meets World. My brother was the OC fan in the family, but I've been meaning to watch his DVDs because I Seth and Summer. So. Adorable.

Oh, and BREAKING NEWS TO ALL BOY MEETS WORLD FANS!!!! ABC Family airs the reruns every weekday morning at 7AM EST. WOOT!!!! My brothers and I have been DVRing them. Currently we're in the midst of the final season, after Cory and Topanga got married. We love it, it's probably my favorite show of all time (tied with How I Met Your Mother and Supernatural, haha). Just thought I would share since you all seemed so bummed about the no reruns.

Can't wait for the next update, girl! Keep them coming!

You absolutely, one hundred percent, can not miss it. More than anything at Disney World, i'd probably say don't miss the rope drop!

That's awesome!! Thanks!! Also............... SUPERNATURAL!!!!!!!! ANOTHER OBSESSION OF MINE!!! I'm still REELING from the Season 5 finale!! Omg when Sam fought Lucifer out of him by remembering his bond with Dean!!! My whole life FREAKED OUT at that moment! It was so beautiful! I can't even imagine what happens next. Sigh. 2 more months til the premiere!!
