What happened to the May Induction Train? Have you guys all been hiding?! ;)

Just wanted to see how everyone did...here are my stats...

In the past month I lost 12 pounds (FINALLY got to claim that 10 pound clippie). In terms of inches, I lost 1 in my chest, 1 in my waist, 3 in my hips, and 2.5 in each of my thighs. WOOOOOHOOOO!!! I did have a few issues with nuts...thought it would be okay to add them in, but quickly learned that it wasn't, but for the most part, I haven't felt restricted at all.

I want to hear about some more successes...I know I'm not the only one!!! :Pinkbounc :bounce:

OMG, that is great! You did well. I stuck with induction, save for a glass of wine here and there, and lost nothing!!!! Had to go back to my Atkins book, and found I was truly at a plateau. Totally bummed. DH has continued to lose, so that depressed me even more.

On the bright side, I feel good. I've lost inches as well - moderate, but at least it's something.

I will stick with it, but am hoping for that break thru!

I here too!

I've lost 16.5 pounds in 5.5 weeks. I have to admit the hardest part of induction is reaching the 20 carbs a day. Some days I only have 8 - 12. But, calorie wise it can go anywhere from less than 800 to 1200.

Fitday says that I'm averaging a 2.2 pound weight loss per week. Do you think I would loose more if I kept the carbs and the calories up consistently?

OK. You want to hear it?? I DID STINKY!!!! :(

I was the one that started this thing and I did stinky at it. Lost nothing. I guess the good news is that I didn't gain anything. I think it's amazing that I keep trying...........I just can't give up.

I think I will tweek the plan a little, though. Here's hoping it works!

Great job to all of you who had success. I'm proud of you!!:Pinkbounc

Induction challenge: I lost a total of 6 lbs during the month of May...I probably was over 20 carbs/day 8-10 of those days but since I hadn't lost anything March & April (being between 20-30/day) I feel really good with the results.

Pamela: don't give up...during March & April I did lose inches and my clothes were fitting my looser. I seem to lose weight in chunks and spurts. Nothing for many weeks and then boom 2 or 3 a week.

My goal for June is to get off the caffeine (again) and stay away from processed foods including sugar alcohols. I will remain as close to 20 carbs/day as I can also.
