I love your AKV lobby pics... i just got alittle emotional thinking about when we were there. DF and I sat by that fire bit almost every night on our last trip. I read him that story on the floor and it is a very cute story.

Tim's face on SE is priceless!!! DF did the same thing on that ride. We laughed the whole time on the ride, then we got off anf noticed EVERYONE could see it and all of a sudden he was no longer laughing!

Aww good. I'm sad that we're going to miss it next May. Next May it ends the 19th I think. We're going to go for Star Wars weekend so I'm going to miss it.

When we were done dinner it was close to 8. Illuminations was at 9, so I wanted to scope out a good spot where I could set up my little gorilla pod. I decided to set up in Italy in a little walkway right in front of the water. Perfect spot!

We met another couple while waiting. The guy we talked to asked me where I got my little tripod. I told him I got it at target for $15 LOL!! He had an SLR camera as well and was setting up. Poor guy didn't have a tripod so he was trying to stay as still as possible while taking his pictures. Later in the week we ended up seeing them again in the MK.

Finally it was 9, time to start.

I was excited to watch this. We hadn't sat and actually watched Illuminations the past two trips.

Here are some of the pictures.

Great pics of Illuminations! Where did you actually set up your gorillapod? I have one too, but I could never quite figure out where to set it up so it was stable. It's a fairly simple point and shoot, but it does take decent picutres. As I've mentioned though, I really want the SLR. Did you find it valuable to have both the SLR and the smaller one?

After that, we wante to go to DTD. So we walked over to the Yacht Club to take a bus from there.

Before we left, I took some pictures of the countries. They are so pretty all lit up!!

I was in a very good mood, I was so happy my firework pictured turned out well!

Gorgeous Italy. Oh and all the night pictures I take are taken with the flash off, in auto mode. Firework pictures are all done on manual.

IDK why it is so hard for me to take a straight picture. I could edit it and straighten it out on Iphoto, but I don't feel like it. so I'm sorry lol.

Ahhh the Boardwalk. So pretty at night.

I love how you can see the DHS lights in the picture.

You know what, It may have been the Beach Club where we took the DTD bus. Whatever the first resort is you hit when you walk across the bridge. OOOH and when we were walking by they had a movie playing on the beach. TOO cute! It was Pinocchio and the scene playing was when Pinochhio sings "I got no strings". Pinocchio was my favorite movie as a kid, when I was like 3. I was so tempted to go sit on a beach chair and watch the movie lol. It made me want to stay at the resort one day.

Anyway, as soon as we go to the bus stop, the bus came lol. No wait at all YAY. The Beach, Yacht club, Boardwalk, Swan & Dolphin all share a bus. It's crazy lol. Oh well no biggy. We sat all the way in the back, they were the only seats open. Those seats are so hot back there. Great in the winter, but not the summer lol. We were all cooking back there haha.

You want to know where my first stop was when we got to DTD, TREN-D LOL. I love it there. Tim went to the pin store, shocker.

Next stop was World of Disney.

Before I went in though, I took a picture of the monster in the water.

Inside the WOD, I love the decorations they have up! So cute.

After walking around in there, I went to Goofy's candy co!! Time to get some chocolate covered pretzels.

I didn't have to wait, it was empty in there. The CMs working in there were so nice!!

I decided to get them all dipped in milk chocolate, one with reeses pieces, butter fingers, and mini m and ms. YUM!

Too bad I only had a bite of the reeses pieces one. I left them in our fridge the day we left. GRRR. Forgot about them, oh well. Tim met me up in there and then we left.

Ok so I totally forgot about this part in the TR. While I was walking around in Epcot by myself. I noticed my favorite photopass guy, standing all by his lonesome self. I don't know if you guys have seen him. He is a spanish man who has been there everytime, since we have gone in 07 we see him. He is mainly in Epcot, and I have seen him one time in the MK. He takes great pictures. He tells you to show your piano when you smile. That is teeth in spanish.

Anyway, he saw me and asked me if he could take my picture, I said of course. He had me do a certain pose LOL. So cute.

and here is a picture the second time we went on Test Track. I love the people in the back LOL.

OK so that is the end of day 3!! I finally made it down to the pool that night, and the hot tub. The pool was soo nice and warm. Felt like bath water. Loved it.

So it was a slow day at work today, VERRRRRY slow, and I have successfully read this ENTIRE thread starting at page one and finially making it here now!!

I just wanted to say how great this TR has been so far! You and Tim are a spitting image of my DGF and I, it's almost scary! we're even from Jersey!

I've got DGF hooked, so we'll be waiting for more updates!

Oh I forgot to mention that. I wrapped it around the fence. It was secure. Yeah I had my point and shoot with me too. I used the point and shoot when I went on some of the rides.

So glad to see that the travel-tripod worked out for you. So much for all of those nay-sayers that thought we were crazy for telling you to get one!!

Great shots of Illuminations, love the colors in some of them. Next time, you should try keeping the little tripod attached to your camera while you walk around the WS. If you set it up on a ledge or trash-can near where you want to take a picture, you would be amazed at how sharp and clear the shots you will get are. One other suggestion for the crooked pictures would be to get a hot-shoe level. It will slide into the slot on the top of your camera where the external flash would be and it's like a level you would use in the house (just really small) and you look at it to make sure the camera is level before you take the pic. Small, inexpensive and saves a lot of time straightening the photos in post-processing.

CAN'T WAIT to hear what you have to say about the KTTK tour. I gave my mom a voucher for Mother's Day for her ticket for our trip in December . We're planning on taking the 8:30am tour to get a second chance at an empty Main Street.
