well i wandered if anybody does mardi gras and/or valetine days ?
if you do tell your storys or whatever!

actually, i dont really do either. i think mardi gras is sorta pointless, and valentines day is just an excuse to make people feel terrible about themselves for having no one to share it with.

I've never celebrated Mardi Gras, and I don't celebrate Valentine's Day either...well not anymore.

Never been to NO or any other place it's big (well, except Pensacola for one day when they had a parade and such) so I don't really celebrate Mardi Gras, and don't have any use for Singles Awareness Day, as someone on another board I visit put it, either.

I don't celebrate either (Mardi Gras, not really big round here) andI've never had anyone to share Valentines with. Sometimes it bugs me, sometimes it doesn't. I don't usually notice it's Valentines day anyways.

The only thing I really like about Valentines is the chocolates go on sale again for like the third time in the past half a year. (Halloween, Christmas, Valentines.. lots of chocolates). I also think the mugs they sell at Starbucks for valentines are very cute too.

Mardi Gras is Shrove/Pancake Tuesday, right? If so I celebrate that 'cause we get free pancake breakfast at school. Valentines day jis such a commercial holiday, I don't see the point in celebrating. My mom buys me a card and chocolates though

But i still dont know what it is but last year my church did a pot-luck..and...wow the food was amazing

and for valentines day i dont share it with anyone by myself but last year i made dinner for my folks..and they were like "awww" .

Its soooo sweet to see couples kiss (haha that came out wrong...AGAIN)

Well we have pancakes for mardi gras which i have always called pancake day because that's all it's ever been about to me. My family is not in any way religious.

I celebrate valentines day if i'm with someone otherwise it's amazingly depressing. This year we're not in school for it. YYAAAAYYY.
