We were at WDW last Feb and there were cheerleaders all over the place, but they never bothered us. Here is some info: Everyone should create an MDE account. It is easiest if one family member creates and manages one account for everyone in the family. Link your resort reservations to your account. If you make ADR's through your MDE account, your meal reservation should link right up. If or when you purchase tickets, link them to your account, too. When you are approximately 60 days out from check in you will be able to make fp+ reservations for every day that you have tickets. At some point you will be able to customize MagicBands. So far most guests through December have been able to customize the bands. Disney has started sending out emails to invite resort guests to participate in the MyMagic+ tests. I just received my email today for our Nov 30th stay, which is about 35 days from check in. The email makes it clear that it is a test. But you won't be able to customize the MB's until the words "Manage bands and cards" changes to personalize MagicBands in your MDE account. I really don't know what it will be like by March. Disney is still designing the system. I'm keeping my eye on the progress of the program since we are going in only 35 days.

I just booked one night at All Star Movies for March 25-26th. That's the night before the annual Audiology conference, which is being held in Orlando this year. ASMo is the only value I have yet to stay at and I'm staying in a preferred room. Booked with a 50% CM discount courtesy of my BFF, hoping that goes up to 60% at some point! Although if it does go to 60% I may upgrade to PORS or CBR, as I haven't stayed at those places yet either.

Hi everyone, I just booked another trip to my favorite place in the world! We will be at Pop on February 28- March 7.

I received a free dining pin email in October and called a few weeks ago to get prices and make a reservation. But I was told the pin belonged to my MIL (who has traveled with us to Disney many times) and that I could not use it unless she was coming. Frustrating. Yesterday I received another free dining pin and got irritated again. There is no name on these emails, it's my email, why can't I use them? I called again yesterday and the CM was helpful but said the same thing. He removed my email from MIL info, and said if we decide to bring her, we can use it. But her name was the only one on the offer.

We chatted another minute, and I was just about to say goodbye, when he said something about if only I was associated with MIL. I said I don't understand how in the world am I NOT associated with her. I book and plan all the trips, the past 15 years the only time she goes is with us. He said hold on, looked another minute and found something that listed me as associated with MIL. It was something that made it so he could override the fact that my name was not on the pin email. I was thrilled! And now our trip is booked and I got the free dining.

Long story, but maybe it will help someone in the future. The CM said they were sending out pins like crazy right now. So keep your eyes open!

Hello!! We are going to Disney March 2-8, staying at POR.

I've never stayed on site before, so I am very excited! We also got free dining, so I am thrilled to get to do some character meals!

We went 2 years ago, the week of my DD and DH's birthdays, and we're going that same week again this time!

There are 3 families going...
Mine... Me, DH, DD4 (turning 5 on March 6 in Disney!), DS1
Friends... Her, DH, DD9, DS7, DS5 (their FIRST trip!)

Oh I am so jealous - I have been hoping for that free dining pin !!! It has eluded me this year. I held out as long as I could - but just finally booked anyway . Congrats !!! I hope pixie dust comes my way !

I'm also hoping for free dining or room only discount - we got one last year and it helped a lot.

Welcome to all the newbies on this thread!! March gets closer and closer every day!! I remember when it was over 200 days and today, I have 112 to wait!!

And yesterday my DD found out she will get her braces off Jan 29 after 2 1/2 years so she will be braces free at Disney this year!! She was very excited about that!!

Fellow south Louisiana girl- I will be there Mardi Gras week too staying at POP. We will be leaving 2/28 from Lake Charles. Where are you from ?
