We were at WDW last Feb and there were cheerleaders all over the place, but they never bothered us.

Here is some info: Everyone should create an
MDE account. It is easiest if one family member creates and manages one account for everyone in the family. Link your resort reservations to your account. If you make ADR's through your MDE account, your meal reservation should link right up. If or when you purchase tickets, link them to your account, too. When you are approximately 60 days out from check in you will be able to make fp+ reservations for every day that you have tickets. At some point you will be able to customize MagicBands. So far most guests through December have been able to customize the bands. Disney has started sending out emails to invite resort guests to participate in the MyMagic+ tests. I just received my email today for our Nov 30th stay, which is about 35 days from check in. The email makes it clear that it is a test. But you won't be able to customize the MB's until the words "Manage bands and cards" changes to personalize MagicBands in your MDE account. I really don't know what it will be like by March. Disney is still designing the system. I'm keeping my eye on the progress of the program since we are going in only 35 days.
