For Splash From 01/06/2014 to 03/21/2014 and for FOLK Is January doesnt say when is going to be open.

Awesome !! We are going to try and leave at 3 and make it to Pensacola. That would be about
5 1/2 hours for us. ( this year we were stuck at bottom of Baton Rouge bridge for almost 2 hours - so I am trying to prepare myself for the traffic. So may be 7 or 8 hours Friday night ) I learned that Baton Rouge has a huge parade Friday evening before Mardi Gras - who knew????? We have never stayed at POP so we are really excited to try it! Look for me - I will be the crazy Saints fan - dressed in my finest black and gold EVERY day!! My 2 kids will probably be bickering all the way to the car and my husband will be rolling his eyes . We should easy to spot - LOL

Last year we represented UL and I will proudly wear my vermillion and white again!! I did not know about the parade. I hate BR traffic. Good luck. I will be the crazy, frazzled woman with the two fighting kids as well!! Sometimes I wonder why I do this. I try to stop around Tallahassee as it's about 6 hours for us. If I leave early enough, I'll push it til past 10. The closer I am the next morning, the better. I will look for y'all! I love that time of year. Maybe we need a Louisiana page for all who are going. I know there are plenty.

Oh how I wish I could make it to Tallahassee - that is where we normally stop when we leave early in the morning . Love the staybridge suites there. You will probably make it to POP before us- lucky you ! I love pulling into the parking lot and seeing the Louisiana license plates - so great! I'll look for your UL - I tend to notice that , especially since we represent McNeese. My son started high school this year - so he will proudly sport his Barbe attire. Can't wait!!!

So I went to MDE this morning and it said "Personalize MagicBands". We are working on picking our colors. Fun stuff!

Our check in date is Feb. 28.

I am just learning about these. How soon can you make them? Shell, I find Tallahassee is a good stopping point for us but I prefer to make it to Lake City. I actually did Gainesville last summer but only because a hurricane was passing through Jacksonville where were supposed to stay. My ex's family lives there so we went to visit but the weather got bad so we took off and got closer to Disney. I loved it. I was so close the next day. I hope one day I can convince a fellow Disney lover to join me but none of my friends are lovers like me! Disney wishing!

I can't believe I can customize my MagicBands already for our trip. We check in on March 19th. Wow! We haven't even gone on our December trip yet. This is really early. We only have 97 days to customize our bands.

I'm picking new colors.

ETA: Does anyone have a date listed for when they can make fp+ selections? It would be on the calendar page for the check in date.

The bands have the person's name inside, so it is possible to all get the same color. I've seen at least one other family have all the same color. In fact, I'm choosing blue for this trip and I told my husband that he could have blue, too, if he wanted it.

Oh great! I didn't know they had names! I think I will just let everyone pick what they want then and if we have duplicates that is okay! I looked at MDE and did not see a way to customize my bands yet. It did say I had one order though. Am I missing something? I clicked both the magic band links and didn't see a way - maybe it is still just too early for me! We check in the 22. Thanks!
