Yay! It is really strange that they don't let you customize the bands until you confirm the shipping address. But once I did that, then I could choose the color and the names. I have a pink band for my December trip so I'm going to order a blue one for March.

Just saw your response. Glad you were able to customize. We are going March 22-28 staying at POP!! I let my son pick but he obsessed with green so I knew what he would pick.

Yes, I was afraid confirming my address would get me stuck with gray! I accidentally hit the wrong thing and confirmed my address and voila - there it was! I picked colors (and 2/3 DDs did as well) but I'm sure they will change between now and February!

So we can customize our bands but not make FP+ reservations yet, right? I thought you could only make reservations at 60 days out, is that right?

It does sound like you will not be getting them, I thought by March everyone would have the bands?

Yes 60 days out for fast pass+ from what I have seen.

Is anyone else nervous about spending this kinda money and it being messed up because of the bands, fp plus and all? This new pop guests can't have both, either card or band and no fast pass options if you park hop makes me want to wait until everything is fixed.

We will be at WDW the first week of December and can't wait to use the use system. We have some fp+'s reserved for our favorite rides. We've only done TSMM once and I've never done Soarin' so I'm really looking forward to having a guaranteed fp for those rides. I scheduled the fp+'s for the parks where we plan to eat our dinners. And most of them are for the evening. We don't usually need to pull fp's very often, since we tend to hit the parks first thing in the morning and leave when they start to get crowded. The evening fp+'s will be perfect.

The good thing about March is that a lot of the glitches should be worked out by then. One of the most frustrating parts about the new MyMagic+ system is that Disney is not very good about telling everyone what the final plan will be. That leaves a lot of speculation and a lot of fear and uncertainty for some people.

I'll come back after our December trip and let you know how the new fp+ and MB's worked for us. I think I am more worried that the bands won't open the resort room then I am about fp's.

Yes,, I am very nervous! By the time our trip rolls around we will have been almost 2 years between trips so I don't want to push it back. And them only time we really could push back to is late May/early June, and I have it wonder if it will even be perfect by,then?! The good thing for us is we don't really park hop so that helps. My hope is that it drags long enough that we can still get regular fastpass

I thought about a cruise too. I opted for the world because for the cruise, I would have to drive so far! I can't be that close to Disney and not go! I may try another cruise line that is closer and cheaper!
