I am so glad that you all got the Minnie dresses that I sent the girls. I made Mary's a little long and with elastic in the back in the hope that it might fit her next summer too. I hope it isn't too long! I am thrilled that the Minnie hat that Andrea made will match Bridgie's dress.

We have been so thrilled by all the Big Give gifts. Sorry to be cranking out the last postings all in a day. It’s been more stressful than ususal getting ready to go

The little girls received beautiful skirts from fruto (I think there was more to this disname but this is what I wrote…oops!) . They are Cinderella (Nora), Belle (Mary) and Snow White (Bridget) They are so adorable. We all love them!!!! Their family also sent the most amazing Mickey Tye dyes in pink for the girls and me and blue for the boys and dh! Thank you so much for sending something for everyone. I know we are a big family so this is so generous of you. I think they all look pretty spiffy in the tye dyes.

I can’t wait to hit the parks with our cool shirts!!!!

The G family sent a appliqued Mike W shirt for Jack. He felt so special with another package just for him!!! The shirt is so cute as you can see. Jack loves Monsters Inc. He plans to wear it to the Laugh Floor! Thanks to our Michigan neighbors the G family!

Love the family picture of the kids in the tie dyes! I would guess it isn't often you get all of them in a picture. I hope I didn't cause any issues since I didn't label the stuffed animals. I really was trying to think of something for the big kids without leaving the house! As you can see, I failed! Love the Mad Hatter shirt on Jack. I am so interested to see if he has fun. I always wanted my son to go but we never had a good opportunity (he would only want to go with friends) and now he is almost 9 so not sure that will ever happen.

Have a GREAT trip! You were so sweet to post so many photos before leaving. I know that it is hectic enough with getting ready for a vacation so adding in all the big give stuff, pictures and all the everyday activity with 7 kids I know you were busy!!

We are on our way! it was touch and go for a while if we would actually leave tonight. Secretary of state took forever among other challenges, but somehow we got out the door!!! We can honestly say we left on the 23rd even if it was only with 8 minutes left in the day
As I write the kids are singing Rebecca Black's It's Friday!

I have to sincerely apologize to my friends whose big gives I have not posted yet. I just plain ran out of time. I am going to try to post from The road what I can. My laptop repairs were not done so I had to leave it at the repair shop longer and I can only post short messages without pics from the Ipad.

As we head on the road, I am so grateful for the friendship that has been extended to us here by all of you Big Givers. You are all just amazing,wonderful, generous people. Thank you for the incredible kindnesses you have shown us. We are truly in awe! to all of you for such an incredible send off!

Cogero made our family the most amazing Wish Trip shirt. It says Princess Bridget's Wish Trip and the image on the shirt looks just like her . Bridge exclaimed when she saw it "wow,that's me!" The resemblance is amazing. There is a shirt for each of us. We just love them!

Cogero also made the big three and me shirts. She made Mickey for Pat, Stitch for Catherine, Mike W for Danny and Snow White for me. I love that my shirt matches the bagEllenbenny made me. They are appliqué. The big kids were so happy to have a special gift just for them.| Thank you Cogero for taking time to make 13 shirts for our family!!! We really appreciate it!

I always forget to put my disname...hehe... Glad you guys enjoyed the crayon roll ups and the goodies. Sorry I didn't send as much for the big kids... it's hard picking things out for the older ones but I def. wanted to include them.

We're half way there! Listening to Illuminations. 25 license plates recorded in our book. No meltdowns, just family fun! The dwarfs are so excited!!

We rolled into our second night's stop The Hampton Inn in Tifton,GA well after midnight. We had made a reservation at our previous stop. I had called them early in the day to make sure they held the rooms and to ask for some hypoallergenic pillows. I also let the know Bridgie is on her wish trip and that she was immune compromised as I have found hotels are a little more thorough when they know.
The room had a 4th of July basket with colorful tissue filled with treats. There was an array of chips,cookies snack packs and candy, as well as three packs of silly bands! It was perfect as two were for girls and one a boy theme. So unexpected and so nice. I was feeling a little grumbly because I like to stay in hotels with interior halls and hadn't thought to check. They just seem to have cleaner carpets. As soon as I saw the special attention though, all better!!! They had a great breakfast too and just so nice!

Mary has had a fever the last day or so. It was 103.2 last night. It seems to be just a virus, but I probably have to seek out an urgent care if it lasts much longer. She seems to feel okay, just a little clingy. We would appreciate prayers that Bridgie steers clear of this. A fever would mean a hospital trip

Two hours to Disney!!! Disney Sing-a-long starts in an hour!



Mary has been sick with a fever. She seems to be feeling okay, just a little clingy. If she still has a fever tomorrow, I probably need to find an urgent care.
