Other than the two party nights LtP & I enjoyed, our evenings are all basically the same.

That’s true, they are all the same. We can probably save time and not even post about our other evenings as they all consist of wine, t.v., me going to bed early, Buzz staying up late, partying alone. I had no bad mornings so I must’ve done something right.

We were back in the room every evening no later than 7:30 pm. MB decided a few months back that he’s afraid of the dark so we respect that and make every attempt to get him back to our room before he turned into a werewolf.

We’re working to get him out and about in the evenings. We started going to church in the evenings and he hates that. You can usually see me, MB and LG marching around our neighborhood at night or find us in a store doing some very fast shopping. Hopefully by next year, we will be able to enjoy evenings out, without a whining, crying and eventually screaming boy.

Our children go to bed at 8 pm sharp every night of their lives. They don’t even really fight us about bed. We kept the exact same schedule for vacation. By the time we got home from dinner every night, the kids would watch a little Stacy on TV, get a bath, then hit the sack.

Yeah, we probably have the only kids on the planet who love to go to bed. Especially MB-at night I rub his feet and his arms. He loves massages-it puts him into a trance-like zone. LG gets stories read to her and she loves that. Then they get about 30 mins of alone time and I come back, tell them lights out and they go to sleep. Trey counts down to bedtime every day as soon as he gets up. “Ten hours til bedtime?” and so forth until we reach 7:45 and begin our nightly rituals.

So what did LtP & I do every night after the kids went to bed? Good question!Think hot, nasty lovin’ and you’d be close!

Oh, Buzz, you’re so funny!!

Typically, LtP would be running around the little apartment filling water bottles, doing laundry, folding clothes, packing the backpack, giving baths, and keeping the place semi-clean.

I love that stuff. I gotta be organized or I can’t function.

Me? I sat my duff in the same exact spot of the loveseat each and every night, fired up the laptop, and DIS’d.

Just like at home.

LtP and I love to snack…

This is not true. I’m not a big snacker. I can get by with 3 meals a day and an afternoon snack. Buzz is the snacker. You should see under his couch. Yikes. I could live for a month on the food he drops.

The first thing I did after filling my whiskey glass full of Crown Royal was accidentally knock it and spill it all over LtP and the couch. I received a good tongue lashing over that because I was using the arm of the couch to set it on instead of the table. Ooops!

Yeah, that was dumb, Buzz. I’d warned you not to do that, but did you listen? Nope.

After LtP cleaned up the mess, we sat back, sipped our drinks and reflected on an awesome day.

Buzz can’t clean worth a darn. He mucks it all up.

She started to yawn… one after the other… and I knew her time was limited.

I was exhausted on this trip!! I could barely keep my eyes open at night.

Crunching, moaning, snorting and slurping were the noises one would have encountered had they been within hearing distance.

Like a hog at a trough.

I’ll get up early and spot clean before LtP is even out of bed. The perfect plan…

Sounds good, but it didn’t quite go as he’d planned....

In other news:

A friend of mine from high school was involved in the OJ Simpson / Vegas thing. His name is Chuck (Charles) Cashmore. He's lived off and on in Vegas and was always one step ahead of the law. A friend of a friend called him one fateful day and asked him if he wanted to meet the "Juice" (OJ's nickname). He said "sure" and the next thing you know, he's involved in a robbery.

We found out by watching MSNBC one evening. We couldn't believe, but yet, we could. As I said, Chuck was a bit of a "player" and was always in a little trouble with the law.

Anyway, I always thought it was QUITE a story that Chuck would jump at the opportunity to meet OJ and wind up in serious trouble.

Mostly I just run around cleaning and folding laundry and doing dishes and picking up dirty socks whilst DH watches TV in "his spot" on the loveseat.
