I've done the youtube route but I want someone to actually show me, and to give ma ideas based on my face and eye shape and such. I do use some of Sephoras products and I love them.

Sorry didn't carry through with the thought. I surfed Youtube, then when I found something I liked on a channel I went to that store or counter to try things out and have them demo.

Currently sampling at the Origins counter because of watching a youtube channel where the person used a lot of those products. I also tried out Ulta/Sephora because of it and they do makeup assists as well.

So surf first to find things you like and narrow down the choices then decide what counters to go hit.

try youtube one more time. Gossmakeupartist. He is FANTASTIC!!

if you need eyeshadows i would go to mac to get makeup done, they have the best, most pigmented shadows! also any product you want to try out at sephora they will apply for free and help you out

I disagree with the bolded. I personally, IMHO, think TiGi has the best, smoothest, most pigmented shadows.

But....I'd also go with Sephora. They don't have any ties to one brand, or another - so they'll genuinely steer you towards good products.

a year ago I used Beauty Lash MD and it worked fabulously, but made my eyelids and whites of my eyes blood red.. so I switched to Envyderm Lash growth serum: just "eh".
Now I have SmartLash and it doesn't seem to be doing much either.
Anyone have any non-prescription ones you like?

I use Latisse. I can't reccomend anything else, because I absolutely love it.

I second the Latisse recommendation. I just call up my Drs office and they mail it to me, so I don't have to actually go in for an office visit. Also, there have been several buy one get one free promotions this past year - a fantastic deal.

It's the same as the hair brand - Tigi Bed Head. Their makeup, all of it, is absolutely phenomenal. Truly.

How is their mascara? I'm in search of new one since Lash Injection went downhill and they discontinued it. Right now I'm switching between They're Real and YSL - they are ok, but they don't have the same wow factor as LI.

I jumped off the Lash Injection train, too. I haven't tried their mascara. I'd have full confidence, it would be awesome, but I have not tried it.

I have been using Blinc exclusively since stopping Lash Injection. I've found, from using Latisse, it's perfect. My lashes are pretty darn long, and dark now, on their own.

I really can't sing the praises of Latisse enough. :thumbsup2

ETA ~ I do miss Lash Injection, though. Good stuff. Shame. RIP.

Is the Sephora 20% off sale coming soon? I feel like it is in the fall.

I feel like I'm gonna be in Disney next week, spending too much time in France. :rolleyes1

I dunno when it is. I do know they won't stop raising my JCPenney limit, which they'll take at Sephora online. That's not cool.

Will you be as strong as I was?????? Will you be able to resist????? I hear it calling your name .....Cathryn ROOOOOOSE this is Guerlain calling.......
terra cotta, meteorites.........buuuuuuuuuuy meee! LOL

BTW AM I the only one who feels that it is necessary to change shampoos up so that the hair does not get used to them. Very frustrating.

Anyone heard news on the Sephora Disney collection? I thought it was going to be released this fall?

Can anyone please recommend what I could possibly use to help reduce dark under eye circles? My doctor said I have "allergy eyes". I've had them my entire life. I typically just apply some concealer under a foundation, but they still shine through. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Any suggestions for a good mascara - suitable for sensitive eyes - that doesn't smudge? I have been using Bare Escentuals Buxom mascara, which doesn't irritate my eyes like many do, but it's allergy season and I am included to rub my eyes, and I end up with mascara smudged everywhere. Any ideas?

I've been using a roller ball under eye treatment in the am before I put on make up. I'm using the Equate (Walmart brand) in the mornings it's called anti puffiness and dark circle roll on. It's comparable to the Garnier brand. At night I'm using a product from the Simple brand (Walmart and Target carry it). It's a small squeeze tube called Soothing Eye Balm. I put it on at night after removing my make up before I moisturizer.

I have really really dark circles (allergies/glasses/genetics) and they have faded at least 50%. But you have to keep it up because I can tell if I miss a treatment or two.

I did try an Origins cream but I liked the Simple brand better. Simple has an under eye roll on as well and I'll probably get it after I finish the equate.

But I will say Origins does not animal test and is very light on the chemicals. Simple is made for sensitive skin but I don't know if it's as low impact as Origins. Right now I'm about half and half between these two lines.

I have never found anything that conceals my dark circles. Mine are bad--I would love to be a "before" for some miracle product. They show before pics of dark circles and I have to "look" for the darkness they speak of. :worried:

Best I have found is by Lauren Hutton. It comes in a compact with several concealers in it. Around $20.00.

I saw one demonstrated on QVC this a.m. by IT cosmetics. I suppose I could try it and return it if it didn't help.

With no makeup and no tan, I look like a somebody socked me. :headache:

Have any of out TooFaced Lash Injection cheerleaders (cough CathrynRose) tried the new version? I would say the old one super-fitted this bill.

I tried the new Loreal Voluminious Power Volume Mascara....love it! Great dark color, great volume, doesnt smudge, could be better at lengthening, but I use the loreal Double Extend Lash tubes white primer under it and then a swipe of the tubes masacara over it so I get 2 days out of it and they dont move :) And it washes off with hot water and a dab of oil free makeup remover. I have very sensitive eyes so stays on and doesnt get in my eyes and washes off easily are musts.
