I bought Elf eyelid primer for $1 at Target after hearing so many reviews about it. It's compared to Urban Decay's $20 primer potion. I really like it and don't see a difference between the two!

I also purchased the 6 piece Ecotools brush kit because I needed a blush brush and bigger eyeshadow brush. Great for the price.

Wow, $1? Really? I use Urban Decay's primer potion and love it, but for that price, would be willing to switch (if it's truly comparable)!

Is $1 the regular price or was it on sale?

You must not sweat like I do because in August the make up just pours off of me. I have noticed that people who live in Fla seem to be able to tolerate the heat much better than visitors. IN fact I have noticed that people who are residents do not have huge problems with their hair frizzing either. It has always amazed me.

Even with a good face primer, Bella? I tend to think it's more the primer than the actual foundation that has the staying power.

But then, I don't normally like to wear foundation while at Disney because I want my pores to be able to breathe in that humidity, lol.

I'm always AMAZED at the women that can have pretty hair while at WDW! How do they do that???!!

It is too hot to have that stuff sweat off my face and really b/c I have sun block on but still have a heathy glow I see no need for foundation. I want my pores to breathe also. I had a lot of problems recently with my skin breaking out and am on two topical meds so I would not chance it even if I could.

As to the hair I really want to go up to those people and ask them how they manage to have their hair even in a bob like I wear and not have it frizz to the max so it looks like a bad synthetic wig that some 3 year old back combed .

This thread is so long that I haven't had time to read it all. I need help in the worst way for the redness in my face! I'm 49 and the older I get, the worse it gets. I'm using Garnier Moisture on the advice on some people here. I like it, but I'm not sure it's helping that much. For makeup, I'm using Everyday Minerals Matte foundation. Again, it's better than some liquids or cremes I've used, but I still don't think it's covering that great. I tried EM's green primer, but it was no help. Any suggestions?

Yes my suggestion is to see a dermatologist. You might have rosacea(sp?) and there is a good chance of it at your age b/c I too have it and around your age. I used a ton of products and when it really flares, my face breaks out. If you start early with say perhaps Metrogel you might be able to catch it before it gets worse. Also I would use Dermablend foundation. It is spf 30 and it does not clog pores.

I bought the last Elf primer today at Target! I guess the word is getting out! Are there any other Elf products that anyone likes? Just wondering since they are so nice and cheap!

I heard from a friend that the elf liquid eyeliner pen is as good as the maybeline etc.... havnt tried it yet

I have FINALLY found something to tame my DD's hair. She is 16 months old with WILD hair. It is crazy curly, knotty, frizzy, and just a rat's nest. Tonight after her bath I towel dried it and put in argan oil. It looks fantastic! It's healthy looking and her curls are adorable and defined. I'm so glad I tried it!

I  argan oil. I will never, even let myself run out!!

My new most favorite product ever is Gorgeous moisturizer from Lush. I have seen a dramatic improvement in my skin! My fine lines have disappeared and my face feel fantastic. Even my tone has evened out. It's expensive, but I'm in love!! :woohoo:

I got the ANSR: Sole from Shop NBC it is to take the dead skin off of your feet etc. It is very gentle and it works they offer it with a Dream foot cream and it too makes my feet really smooth. I still have a little roughness but It is much better and no cracking.

It is always $1 at Target. :thumbsup2 I haven't seen it anywhere else but I don't know where else Elf is sold.
If you poke around the web a bit, I have seen a few beauty bloggers going through their day with the UD primer on one eye and Elf primer on the other to compare.

I really like their $3 cream eyeshadow. The pigmentation is perfect.

You can go check out their website at eyeslipsface.com. I enjoy some of their brushes.

I purchased Eve Pearl Shadow from on either QVC or Shop NBC I cannot remeber who. Anyway, do not bother, I was not impressed and at almost 50 for the pallet it was not worth it. I have used it maybe 3 times and the whole thing broke! I wrote to the company and let's see if they make good on it. I was so disappointed. I did not drop it it was in my Vera Bradley padded make up case and there was plenty of cushioning.

I wanted to contribute a great mascara for very thin lashes.

Maybelline Define-A-Lash (I use the waterproof one).

I've tried tons and tons of mascaras. I've tried ones recommended for my thin lashes by employees in Sephora and Ulta. None of them worked.

The problem w/ my lashes is they would droop (not stay curled) with most mascaras, I guess because they're very thin. This Maybelline mascara lengthens my lashes like no other mascara has, it doesn't clump (which was a huge problem for me) and isn't heavy to drag down my lashes. They stay long and curled all day. I've never had that w/ any mascara before.

I also use because of this thread and LOVE the monistat chafing gel to absorb oil before applying makeup. I ordered mine on-line because I couldn't find it in Rite Aid or CVS. So worth it (and it's so inexpensive!)

Have to try that mascara, thanks for sharing your review!

Heard this tip today, that you can use any brand/color nail polish with an at home gel base and top coat, and it's the same as using the gel colors. Anyone tried it?

Ulta has a good deal on the Benefit "They're REal" mascarea. They are including the 10.00 size when you purchase the regular size and you can use the 3.50 coupon so that makes it 19.50 for the regular and the smaller size.

I want that Butter Olympic Trio set.

I wish I was addicted to yardsales..... this is too expensive. I think crack might be cheaper.

Which Butter set is that? I missed it. Honest to God, when I see an item for like 29.00 it is like I am seeing an item for 2.90 when it comes to make up...I remember the days when I would think twice about a mascara for say 25 now I am like wow this is only 25! They hook you then they slowly push up the cost.
Case in point They're Real Mascara by Benefit....it was 22.00 like two months ago when it came out now it is 23 by Chrismas I predict it will be 25!
