The Magical DISmeets!! The Last week in August/Sept! See Post #1 for Meet Info

I need to figure out how many people will be attending my meet. Can everyone, who is coming to the August 30th meet. Please, give me a head count, of your whole party. Thank you very much!! I will have Xavier, help me go through the pages and decipher, the info I have now. I will list it here.

Oh Maria!!! you do sound like you have the same kind of luck i have :lmao:
Who would have thought it, we both have car troubles on the same day! Well you win for the bad luck at the moment,, bad chest, broken washing machine and over heating car :scared1:

Your camping experiences really made me laugh,, I used to take my older kids camping when they were young as its all I could afford,, we had some very funny times, woke up one morning with no tent over us and a cow right next to us, my DD15 has been scared of them ever since! Then we stayed in a caravan, but the ground was so wet that it sank,, took us a long time to figure out why the door wouldn't open, we eventually got dug out by the farm owner... oh I could go on, but don't want to fill up the whole thread :rotfl:

Thanks for your comments about college,, I had to drop out when I got pregnant with my eldest who is almost 18, and I always wanted to go back. I have been so lucky, there is a real shortage over here for certain subject teachers so the government offered funding for people who wanted to train as teachers in those subjects and I was lucky enough to get into college and get the funding, otherwise I would never have been able to afford it. I only have one more year left to do, but it has been great fun hanging out with all the college kids!

MariaEller, I have to tell you. We had the same thing happen to our washing machines. Xavier, decided after I found clothing hidden in his closet. He would take matters into his own hand. I told him to put his clothes together so we can wash them. While I was at work. He decides he would wash 4 or 5 loads, at the same time. Lo, and behold he broke the machine. I know the kid knows better. He was sitting right beside me, while we read your post. I told him. I just have to tell everyone what he did. He was sitting here cringing, as I type. But, whatever. He just said "so everyone in the United States, now has to know I broke the washing machine, because I put 4 or 5 loads in." Man, I tell you, you gotta love the kid. :lmao:
:rolleyes1
Tell him everyone in the UK knows about it too now :lmao:

Traci, my last day working is on Tuesday. I cannot wait!! :goodvibes
OOh, I wish,, I have the wedding on friday, and still have to work on saturday, so only finish really on Sunday

ROTFLMAO!!!! Oh my gosh!! You actually sank into the ground and couldn't get the door open. I would have been freaking out!!!

The gov't fnding program is wonderful! Since I work at the University my husband, children and I can take courses for free. I had to take courses just so I could understand my children's math homework! LOL My husband completed his degree and my daughter's will be starting here soon since they're 17 and 16. My 12 year old son has a while to go yet so we'll see I'm still here by then. LOL Hanging out with the college kids can make a person feel young and alive again! ;) Have a wonderful time with it!!

Ohh, I forgot to give the head count. Well, it will at least be the hubby and I. If the whole party is with us it could be a total of 20 people. We just had 3 more people say they will probably be joining us...they live there in Orlando. :) The lucky ducks...one day, one day I'll be living there to!

Traci, Xavier was to shocked when he saw your reply about all the people in the UK know now too!!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Ok, I do not feel bad about the luggage now. You should not have to lug the luggage through pop. Are you taking magical express?? They deliver it to your room. On my way back home. I left the luggage under the window. With a nice tip. And, the guys came up to get it, and bought it down for me. To the bus. While I was off enjoying my last day in the parks. I know the issue for me is when my dh drops us off at the airport. I will have the 4 bags, plus Justin' stroller. I know, I will be fine though. I will just get a skycap. :thumbsup2

You sinking is amazing. I would have panicked, and the cow, standing besides you all. Omg. Don't mean to laugh, but that is funny Traci. :rotfl:

I still plan on trying to attend the meet. I might not be able to get ot MK at 12 noon to get a fast pass though. We plan to do sea racyers and fish that morning. But I even if I just get there to say hi, would be great.

I'll do my best to be there on the 30th...but just put me down as a "maybe" at this point as we are not planning our day-by-day itinerary until DSIL arrives on the 26th. If we make it, it will either be a party of 4 or 7. At this point it's looking pretty good as we have ADR's @ Concourse later that evening so the 30th would be a good MK day. :thumbsup2

Yep, I actually sank :lmao: Melissa, don't worry about laughing, I found it really funny at the time too! (although Chloe didn't ha ha)
As for the magical express, I won't be using it, we are flying into Sanford and will be getting a hire car, so I think I will have to take care of the luggage myself :sad1: Oh well, whenever I have taken a trip in Europe, we always have to carry our own luggage so I'm used to it.

Maria, Xavier is 13. :rolleyes1

hehehe! I know what you mean! ;) Love the teen years! LOL

I also saw you mention the name Justin....now which one is Justin? My husband's name is Justin! hehe My girls are Courtney and Chelsea and I also have a grandson...yes, my 17 year old made me a grandmother! He's an absolute angel. Isaiah is 8 months and I would not be a good grandmother if I didn't take him to Disney! hehe I always have an excuse to go to Disney! :)

Wow Maria a grandmother too! My family have all been early starters too, my mum who is only 57 is about to be a great grandmother! She was married at 17 and so was my sister, my sister's son is about to become a Daddy and he is 18! I just can't see my son becoming a Dad anytime soon, he is still so immature, in fact when we are at Disney, my mum is coming to look after him (don't trust him in the house alone)

Well I have started the packing,, :faint: I am so stressed with it. Cameron insisted on helping me to pack her case so it took hours longer than it should have, she kept getting things out and trying them on, then putting them somewhere so we had to play hide and seek for the shorts for almost an hour! She also insisted on using her american girl case, which is really very small, so it took me about 20 minutes to close the stupid thing and by the time I got it closed, I looked around and there she was fast asleep on my bed.... why couldn't she have fallen asleep when I started to pack her case
Well its almost midnight here now, so the packing can wait for another day as I have work in the morning, maybe I will do some tomorrow night!

Woohoo, in 15 minutes I will be doing the single digit dance

Who all is going to be able to make it to the first meet at AK/EE 6pm on the 29th.... would just like to get a heads up and party number.

I would love to attend this one, but have a feeling we'll have to leave by 6:30to get to Epcot in time for our dinner ressies at Le Cellier. Definitely don't wanna miss those ADR's! Is there a way we can scoot it earlier?
