The Magic, the Memories and the Food! February11 Update July 23 WPuck's Express

Oooh yummy treats and those coconut patties look delish :teeth:

I've got to have me some of that coconut Mickey! What sweet friends you have, that was so thougtful of them.

First of all, let me just say that I recognize that bag. :lmao: Ours was orange and we still use it, in fact, its sitting on our dining room table right now! :lmao:

Love the goodies from Nicki and Todd -- they are so sweet. They are leaving Disney today to head to a meeting for Todd and then home. We've talked off and on and they've had some "interesting" meals...some that have caused me to change several of our plans. :scared1:

No, they got there last Thursday and Todd has a meeting in Sarasota tomorrow and then they drive home to Naples.

Believe me, she is changing some of her October ressies!

Now you really got me wondering, but with Todd, you can never tell where they ended up! ;)
Can't wait to read all about it! :thumbsup2

Oh, boy....:sad2: Can't wait to hear her report!

Woow! What great treats to get!

What kind of flavours did the popcorn come in?

Mmm, Mickey pretzels. I love pretzels.

Have you tried the Mickey coffee yet? I was wondering if I should pick up some on my next trip...

There were three bags of popcorn, regular popcorn, cheddar cheese popcorn and caramel popcorn! They WERE all yummy! :lmao: :thumbsup2

We haven't tried the coffee yet. We are saving it for just before our trip, to get us into the right mood.

And btw, I have not had time to dig for the photos of our meet yet, but I will as soon as I have enough time, I promise!

What a nice surprise! :goodvibes

MICKEY PRETZELS?!?! Ooohh, those would be lovely to dip in Nutella.

We were blown away by the generosity of our friends! Tina gave me a wonderful scarf, which we will take with us on the Dream and the huge bag from Nicki was just wonderful.

But we were not done with "gifts" then! ;) :goodvibes

Congrats on your new cars! We will be there from 7/31 to 8/11. We will just miss you, but will leave some ice cream at Ghiradelli, don't worry.

Thank you!
Wow, what a shame to miss you by two days. And thanks for leaving some Ghirardelli ice-cream, what about the stuff at Beaches and Cream, will you leave some of that too? :lmao:

Yay! You're back!

:woohoo: yes, I am, and I intend to stay! ;) :rotfl2:

The Treats looked delish!!!

They WERE delish! :goodvibes

Oooh yummy treats and those coconut patties look delish :teeth:

We were so lucky to receive so many treats. :goodvibes

You left us hanging! What was the next treat! :rotfl:

So sorry about letting you hanging there! ;) :lmao:
Next treat coming up as soon as I finish my replies! :goodvibes

You can't leave us hanging like that

Not much longer - next treat coming up pretty soon! :)

Disney friends are the BEST!!! We have been so lucky to get to meet so many wonderful people through Mickey! :goodvibes

I used my bag for shopping yesterday! :rotfl2: I even use it to transport student's books too! :thumbsup2

Day 2, February 20

Another treat from the Disney Florist

When we finally had a room we were surprised by another treat! This time it was from friends whom we had met through a Disney board and who we met in person a few years ago, Mary Ellen and Joe! They had ordered some treats from the Disney Florist.

We found this wonderful bag in our room. There was a card attached .......

We opened the bag and it was FULL of treats as well.

More yummy popcorn, more pretzels, trail mix and party mix, Mickey "oreos", sour candy, water biscuits and camembert dip

a bottle of water, a bottle of apple juice, two rice crispy treats, two apples (which we threw out, as they were really horrible) and two oranges.

Now, you would think that in Florida, that prides itself with its orange juice production, they would include Florida oranges .......

no way, they were imported ones from .........

CALIFORNIA!!!!!!! :rotfl2: They were yummy though! :lmao:

To be honest, we had so many snacks there was no way we would be able to eat them all during a week's vacation and we actually took home a whole carry-on filled with snacks! :thumbsup2
We enjoyed them just as much at home! :goodvibes

Coming up: Dinner at The Wave

Yum. do you have any problems getting them through customs, or is it just no fruit and no opened food?

That orange is one big faux pas. The reason they do it is because Florida oranges are grown primarily for juice and are not attractive like California ones. But in my opinion, they either should have stuck with the ugly Florida ones, put in some other Florida citrus, or put in cute little orange juice bottles.

I was going to tell you about the oranges Michelle beat me to it. I personally prefer the California navels, but am not allowed to eat citrus anymore. I would kill for an orange!

More snacks and they look YUMMY!!!

:thumbsup2

No problem getting them through customs. The only things we are not allowed to bring into the country are fruit and veg, meat and dairy products. So snacks are fine and we always bring quite a few with us! ;)

We did NOT mind the California oranges! ;) :lmao: We loved them when we were in California and they were super sweet and yummy. It was just funny to see California oranges in a state that prides itself for its oranges! :goodvibes

Actually we did try some Florida oranges and we did not like them at all. So all was fine for us! :goodvibes

The California oranges are wonderful and we really loved them, so we didn't mind - it is just a fun fact for us that the "Floridians" give out Califonian oranges! :rotfl2:

You are not allowed citrus? Wow! I think I could not live without them! So sorry for you!

Gee, that bag looks awfully familiar. ;)

Nice bag of goodies. :)

I know - I remembered that you got one on your trip as well! ;) :goodvibes

V cool treat bag from Mary Ellen, so many goodies :)

been catching up with your updates, I have been away too long from Disboard and so happy to read your reviews.

Woow awesome treats!!

Hm...I guess it's good I'm still working on my Montreal TR cause my next Disney update is of our Dismeet and if I don't have any pictures, it didn't happen! Take your time though, I've got ways to go with Montreal...

How do people send gifts to someone else's hotel room? Do you just need the dates and their names?

I'm on board, I love your reports! We also share a love for Wolfgang Puck Express, have to go numerous times every vacation!:thumbsup2

Thanks so much for sharing your experiences, can't wait for the next instalment. popcorn::

I just sent you a PM with two photos - I need to check if we have more! :goodvibes

We have used the Disney Florist to send gifts to friends. All you need is their resort and last name. You can either do it online or call.
They have some awesome baskets that you can order or you can call them and they do a special one just for you.
We have also sent things from roomservice to a room. One year we sent our friends Mary Ellen and Joe a dozen chocolate covered strawberries and a chocolate Mickey and one time it was a tray of cookies and a pitcher of milk! :rotfl2:
