Lion King show pricing!

Those tickets start pre sale on 6/6. But I could go through Stub Hub and get some now. Newbie here.
I just checked the Fox Theatre site and they don't go on sale until 6/21. I would just wait until then. Prices will be much better directly from the fox

Broadway shows are expensive as heck.

We are going to London in August and I checked how much a show in the West End would be. It is actually amazing how much cheaper they are over there than in NYC. We live a train ride away from NYC but balked at taking kids to Broadway since tickets are so expensive and I’m not sure if they’ll like it. I guess their first show will be In London because the pricing is much more palatable there.

Yes! Around the time we were planning our transatlantic cruise, The Lion King came to a theater near us. The tickets were way more than seeing the Lion King in London...so we saw it there instead. What drives up the ticket price in the US? Its not just the pesky fees. The base tickets were more.

I just got an email about presale by me. Tickets start at $29. They were back of the house seats but the place they are coming to is small and no seats are really bad. I passed because I have seen it several times on broadway but a friend got tickets to take her daughter. She said with fees and taxes they were about $35 each. Seemed like a great deal to me. They got Sunday afternoon tickets which work with their sports schedule.

I got five seats in the very middle of the center Orchestra section for $89 plus fees for a Thursday at 1 pm. I now realize how important finding a pre-sale code was, as what few good seats that were left were $140 plus.

More availability at night, but no thanks to Atlanta at night.
