I am sorry for the problems. I know you must be upset. And I do think that the attorney was out of line. If you provided the info they asked, it's their responsibility as a professional office to keep that information readily available.
One thing no one else has commented on was the billing of 20 minutes. I believe that 20 minutes is the minimum billing rate for most lawyers. That's how they can consistently bill 80 hours or more a week. They talk to you for 3 minutes, then talk to 3 other people for 3 minutes (total phycial time, probably 20 minutes given the time to look up numbers and dial), but they get to bill 20 minutes *4.
